why is it when i put the url in on my profile for the avatar it works for like 1 minute and then it goes away and i get a box with an X in it. And also it says you cant go above 80x80 yet ozymen avatar is 90x120 wtf is going on

have you being using the same source? I mean URL/imagename.jpg... maybe there is a problem there... really dunno...

its just thought but i think some sites retrict ppl from using there images by URL for forums.

ewww i think i know the problem the images im trying to use are GIF images not jpg if that is the problem can someone tell me how to change a GIF to jpg

Hmm...it looks like the address you gave for your image (http://www.inuyashaworld.com/images_show.c...agetype=avatars) points to a web page that has an image on it. If you want to use that image, you need to provide the actual address of the image itself - not the page it resides on. In this case, it appears the image's address is http://www.inuyashaworld.com/avatars/7.jpg. You can verify this by going to the webpage with the image on it, right-clicking on the image, and looking at the "Address (URL)" line. It should end in ".jpg", ".jpeg", or ".gif". Make sure you right-click on the image and not the page though.

So try going back your profile page and putting in the actual address of the image.
