Well... I believe we've analyzed the Kagome & Inu Yasha thing quite a lot (lets keep it going though... )
but there is another interesting couple in this series noone has mentioned... poor Miroku.. always gets slamed in the face... what have you got to say abou this? it is quite more complicated...
personally i havent gotten any hints (AM I BLinD??) from Miroku to Sango... on the contrary, we ve seen many times Sango chasing Miroku to get him out of a "woman" trap (is it for her good friend? or is it jealusy?)... what have you got to say?

I think there's something going on there... ^.^, i don't think that Sango is jelous as Miroku's friend... i think they get along really well... and that there's some kind of spark between them... you can see it as the way they look eachother... and yeah Sango... really boils when Miroku is with a girl... but somehow it's more difficult to see that... because it isn't as obvious as Inuyasha & Kagome... Anyway... i think they have feelings for eachother.. that's all :wink:

You know I think everyone in Inu Yasha has a dirty side even Sango :twisted:

what i mean is that we havent been given the chance to see if Miroku is actually Jelus/in love or anything... he simply doesnt seem to care (just grabbing her from time to time doesnt say much)... well one thing is for sure... he is far more calm when it comes to girls than IY...

but if there would be something to make us suspect about Miroku in Love would be that Sango is the only girl he never asked to bear his child (well except when she complained about it ( showing HER jealusy))...

Does any one not see Sango holding her belly in the newest ending when she is leaning by Miroku?! :shock:

Okay I know that is a little Bizarre but I actually do think they have a relationship going but like Inuyasha and Kagomay don’t know about it. Then some time later down the road they will see them two holding hands and ask what the deal is and they will do a flash back to when they fell in love.

I don't know if people remember the episode titled, "Aiming for Sango, Only You!" in which a childhood acquaintance that Sango barely remembers offers to marry her right in front of the Yasha gang. Miroku and she don't say anything out loud that much, but you can tell that it hurt Miroku, and it hurt Sango when he didn't say anything about it, but we know from that episode that he felt at the time that it would be better for her in the long-run if she got married and left the group. Thankfully, Sango isn't stupid and turned down the marriage offer (at least, for a while), and at the end of the episode, we see them sharing an umbrella for a bit. He says only to her, "I'm sorry." I think they both know what's going on, but just aren't as vocal as Kagome and Inuyasha. Of course, Miroku groped Sango right after he apologized, but it's not like Sango isn't starting to enjoy it. ^_~

Er- I'm sorry, did you say POOR miraku? Thje guy who grabs any and every girl ( remember that 14 year old?) or woman who comes into his path? This may bcome as a urprise, but not every female person LIKES to be mauled by any stranger who chooses to do so. NOt that he's not , oh, sort of , well, he has a very nice voice.

but Sango gets mistrusting as Miroku feels free to cheat on her.

I think I know the scene your thinking of, but it looks to me that she's just got her arms crossed...I don't think there's any implication behind it

Sango is my favorite female character in Inuyasha and probably in all of animes that i have seen so far. !

Miroku and Sango have come quite a lot further along in the manga than in the anime.

SPOILER WARNING - Highlight to read. (This is from the very latest chapter of the manga, so don't take the warning lightly! If you don't want to know, just skip this.)






In the most recent chapter of the manga, there's a very nice Miroku/Sango moment. Sango is sitting by herself, thinking and worrying about Kohaku (long story), and Miroku comes over and asks if he can help. She asks him to just stay there with her, and he does--he sits down beside her and puts his arm around her shoulder. Now, here's the amazing part--he doesn't grope her. Not once. (Even the others are very surprised at this.)

Inuyasha also mentions them having promised to be husband and wife to each other... so it seems that since the "will you bear my child" scene Patrioil mentioned earlier, they've been more or less officially engaged, since Sango did say yes.






I'm glad at least one couple in Inuyasha is getting their act together.

Yeah, I laughed my ass off at what Inuyasha said to Kagome. The thing about how since they are to be a couple, Sango shouldn't mind when Miroku plays the ass-grab game, and Kagome talked about "insensitve guys". That was hilarious.

what episode is that? I think i've seen it, but it doesn't stand out in recent memory....

Has it been made an episode yet? Gah, I can't remember. ><;; I know he "proposes" (if you can call it that, heh) in the manga, and what I talked about is in the newest episode of the manga.

SaNkOn-TeSsOu, sorry to say this is all-manga stuff so far, and we probably won't see it in the anime for quite some time (especially seeing as they'll probably show more filler episodes for a bit after the Shichinintai saga). Alas, we must settle down to wait...

I can't wait for them to do the thing with the Oni Women in the anime. Sango's mad at Miroku and wanders off by herself. She gets dragged underwater by the Oni Women and they force-feed her this egg which controls her mind. She attacks Miroku and almost kills him, but he manages to get close enough to her to thump her stomach and get the egg out. He then says she's a special girl and they're lucky to have her on their side. After that he proposes to her...

I love the oni women part of the manga and the proposal afterward because to me it was one of the first signs that the Inuyasha story was finally starting to go somewhere. It was the first really serious moment between those two characters... all I could think of when reading it was, "it's about time!" Before then, Miroku and Sango's relationship had mostly just bored me because nothing ever happened.


Actually, there are so many great Miroku/Sango moments that haven't been in the anime yet, and so few really good ones that have been shown that it's getting really hard for me to talk about Miroku and Sango anywhere without going into spoiler territory.

Which means the anime needs to hurry up and get to the good stuff all the quicker.

As far as the anime episodes go, all I gotta say is that Sango looked real cute at the end of ep78 (when she held up the umbrella for Miroku)...

And man, she must really be hung up on him to put up with all his womanizing!

I think Sango is too shy to tell Miroku she loves him, but Miroku is try to tell her his love in his perverted stuff

sango is my favorite female anime character too. SHe seems "real."

Miroku is great too =D
