Hmm, I searched for a site of A-Kraze bittorrents...and the 2nd movie BT link is there.
I'd download it, but...it's going to be of VHS quality, and I'd rather wait for A-F/FgF to sub it...I just prefer their subs, and I don't think I'd want to watch the movie more than once (because I'm just weird like that).

it says its a screening, so the qaulity is going to be worse then the theater... not to mention a dvd rip... i'm downloading it as well, or i would if the bittorrent would start up, i'd expect that the quality wouldnt be very good (well as good as my demands that is

) i think i'll wait till anime forever subs it, ive watched the last 50 or 60 episodes from them and i like their subbers and i would perfer to stay with them...

Ah sorry I really should have posted the link to download it. Well its over 700mb so its going to take a while (est 13 hours at 20 kB/s from 15%). Thanks to the person who explained what screener meant. Im really impatient and dont mind seeing things more then once so when the AF-F & FGF one comes out im going to grab that also. Those little tid bits of info at the start of certain eps are really useful and no one else has that.

No way this takes me over 3 hours.

DSL actually... if bit torrent would let me download at full speed i could have it in 3 hours or less also. On the up side BT doesnt take up as much bandwidth as a full speed download. How excatly are you getting it in 3 hours, is my BT just super slow?
Id better be careful, with 117 and 118 released just days ago and a movie i might overdose on inuyasha

And I wanna have AF-F & FGF's work. ^^
Ani-Kraze probably have the VHS version,
since the movie was shown in Japan on tv.
And someone must have taped it et cetera.
So it's not a DVD rip, it's worse. >_<
I can't see how some of you want a LQ movie.

ie where a word could mean 2 or more things they chose a different one then what the other group does or they spell things different ect...

Well, I just watched it, and it's pretty damn good. It is a screener though, and the end (last minute or so) is blank audio (which they mention). Such as the way with screeners.
I look forward to buying this, and the first one on DVD

Actually, if I recall correctly, the DVD is already released for rental, but not for purchase.
In semi-unrelated news, does anyone know anything about this special presentation thing that's going to be on Yomiuri TV on Saturday? I found something called "Yomiuri TV Tokuban: 'Konna ni Sugoi! "Inuyasha" Shinhatsuken!'", which is some hour and a half long special starting at 14:00. I can't figure out if "Shinhatsuken" is supposed to mean "new look" or "new things to see", but regardless, it's apparently about something "new" (but what the heck could they talk about for an hour and a half?).

I thought this movie sucked balls.
I didnt think they could make a worse villain than the one from the first movie but they sure proved me wrong.
The moth from movie one was retarded, Then they top him by using a stupid chick for the main villain.
And where the hell is Sesshoumaru while all this goes on. How can you possibly have a whole movie with no Sesshoumaru or Jaken.
The fight scenes sucked horribly as expected i suppose.
The only good thing about the entire movie is that Naraku is such a genius with his plans that he always fools everyone.
Otherwise this movie blew and was even worse than the crappy first one.

OKAY, after all of this and that and stuff that happened last night (if u were lurking around in the channels)
I'd just like to say that i grow tired of all this talk...
Please refrain from bashing anikraze in any way, they are a fansub group, and we all know that all fansub groups are good.
Inuyasha movie 2 is out by them yes, i personally dont care if you guys spray it on this forum or channel or whatever.
If u wish to watch theirs its all good too we're not gonna suddenly hate you because of it.
Yes we also have that raw, awhile ago actually, not sure how they encoded it but its decent-ish quality to watch.
We decided as a team to keep it secret and not release with that version and wait for a nice HQ DVD rip to come out instead.
So it IS in progress but we'll talk about that later.
Lastly,
Again, please refrain from bashing anikraze or any other channel for that matter, you know the forum rules, and you know we dont condone it plus it gets us in trouble like last night (although it was both sides).
Also, I ask that people please dont spoil IY movie 2 for the people who arent gonna watch it yet.
And, if any of you participated in last nights conversation, i'm very disappointed at you, it makes me really sad.
If any anikraze members are reading this, I apologize on my side as well, since both sides were really immature about this issue.

i just watched the movie. it was pretty lousy. sessho is onscreen for 2 seconds. kikyo shoots one arrow, then says something dumb and leaves Inuyasha behind. the villainess is a noisy beefed-up kanna. kagome frees herself from mystical bonds by having shards thrown at her. Huh?!?!
I can't think of anything especially good about the movie. A couple funny moments, but overall, nothing too inspiring. Sango+Kohaku was ok, but predictable and boring. Even Miroku's groping was subpar. I think the 1st movie was better, by far.

I, myself really enjoyed the movie. I expected the quality to be not so great, but. It was pretty damn good considering it came from VHS, even tho VHS isn't that bad. Personally, I think Both dubs are great, everyone has a different style, but thats the point, yes? Anyway, I don't see why so many people have been putting down A-Kraze. They do a great job, as does AnimeForever, and Fangirlfriday. Anyway, There isn't really anything I noticed wrong with the movie, I will download the DVD rip once it comes out just to have a little bit better quality, but all in all. It was good.

Yeah people just don't really appreciate a movie/show if the bad guys ain't sexy or cool or something that makes them sorta non-evil or stupid-evil. That's why the Shinintai are so popular. I mean, their literally almost a counter-part to the whole Inuyasha group. People love weaklings that are almost the same as their favourite heroes.
The movie was nice. But the pattern still remains it is one of those times where inuyasha/kagome must prove how much they love each other as usual. Obviously movie 3 will break this pattern and have a much bigger fighting impact.
What is really stupid though, is that none of the movies ever have much to do with the series. Like they never mention the importance of the things before the movie. It's like..."Oh I see...... why you telling me this? I can see ya know" Not like "Oh!!! I remember that thingy! It's suppose to blah blah blah. So that's where it fits in!"
I mean it's still great and all but none of the two movies actually have a linked feeling to the series.

I don't think it's that people hate A-Kraze... I just think they are trying to simply suck up to AF/FGF. I downloaed the Screener and I was astonished by the quality, I have to applaud Anime-Kraze by that. I do admit I watch the subs by AF/FGF and am happy with the great work they've done, but if it came to push or shove, I really wouldn't give a damn who I downloaded from... whoever gets me the episode first in good quality is who I say good job to.

The reset at the end so that the events of the movie could take place without really affecting the tv series was understandable, but a little annoying. It would be nice if some little cameo mention of the movie turned up later on in the series; for example, like how a photograph taken during the second Ranma 1/2 movie showed up in one of the TV show's Christmas episodes. The locket Kagome gave Inuyasha would be an ideal candidate.

I remember that the photo was in that Ranma½ OAV, yes.
It would be really fun if something like that happened in Inuyasha.
But what if they did that with movie 3? Probably wouldn't work.
Since the third movie has this sword, and what if it were mentioned again?
A movie is supposed to be on it's own, and leave the tv-series alone.
Since everybody may not see the movie (for whatever reason),
then something from the movie suddenly popped up in the tv-serie.
It just wouldn't work.
Maybe if the Inuyasha anime got OAVs', like Ranma½.
Since the OAVs "Originally Animated Videos" only can be bought.
Then something from the movies may appear. but what do I know...

The movies (Ranma½ and IY) have not been in the manga.
But I heard Takahashi Rumiko do write them. Personally.

Soo... It's another movie where the original villain is someone that someone related to the main cast sealed away a long time ago, but are just now getting unsealed. And all the canon characters make a cameo, whether they do anything worthwhile or not! Double bonus!
Yeah, two of the things that irritated me about the first movie resurfaced in this one as well. I'm not saying I didn't like it or anything (although I still prefer the manga's storyline), it's just that I wish they'd vary their presentation style from movie to movie. Although I am glad they kept the fight, rotating CG with credits, fight, rotating CG with creits, etc. opening style that they used with the first movie, since that was kickass. I hope they keep that for the third movie as well, although I can't think of who the whole group could be fighting at the beginning, since battles with Sess are always one-on-one.
Another thing.... whatever happened to Kagura and Kanna? They got trapped... and then that's the last we ever hear of them. Maybe they died and Naraku made new ones. ^_^*

I started to download it but Patrioil's lectures suckered me into waiting for FGF/AF groups release.
When I watch it, I want the full quality of dvd so I don't have to deal with crappy graffix while watching my favorite anime.
IY will always be my favorite anime, it revolves around EVERYTHING I ever looked for in RPG's, movies, anime and stuff, the best anime I'v ever seen (and I'v been watching anime for over 8 years now and not one night do I shut down my computer because I am always downloading something off of someone on direct connect).
By the way does FGF have a direct connect hub? If not I have a spare computer in my house I could use to set one up, but you would have to tell me how to configure it off of my router with two other computers hooked up.
Other than that I'd gladely donate that computer as a hub.

Well...
Though Xepheus is right in that we shouldn't bash AniKraze, I'm still happy to see that some people like to wait for our subs. We didn't want to release this VHS-rip because though it's still very pretty, it could be prettier--and the lack of audio near the end clinched it. I'm kind of surprised that AniKraze didn't mind that it wasn't there. But then again, maybe they saw the real VHS tape and got the audio from that. I personally don't see how waiting perhaps two to three more weeks will kill anyone, especially since AniKraze will probably re-release, but I suppose it shows how much people love Inuyasha if they'll download whatever they can get as soon as possible. That's true fandom, ne?

SPOILER:
Someone was confused as to what happened to Kanna and Kagura near the end. You saw that they were in water, of course, right? Remember how she kicked Inuyasha out of her castle using some spell, and they had to break the barrier to get back in? Well, I think that she also did the same to Kagura and Kanna. They were back in the lake, floating through to the 'real' world, away from Kaguya's 'mirror' world.
And was anyone else laughing when they saw the bad CG black cloud that was supposed to be Kaguya near the end?
