Ok, two pictuers in some kind of merge, use your own imagination with this one, I can draw but I can't do stuff image wise with a comp and I love other peoples work, at least thats my appriciation for art so go with what you want but here's what I have.
Snowy backgrounds work together, both seem to be headed or looking at an angle (facing eachother might look wierd though, but I leave all imagination up to you) and with the history of the brothers it would add a "feeling" to the picture

Just don't put words or noffin on it please, I hate words on really great pictures

EDIT: Took out the links, but now I know what pictures you want.

Actually, if I recall correctly, the DVD is already released for rental, but not for purchase.
No, that's the VHS. The DVD won't be released until August 21st.
I've re-read some posts, and though I'm trying not to have a gut reaction, I think I'll let my diplomacy slide for just a teeny bit. It...FEELS insulting to me when people post "go see this other fansubber b/c they got the movie out first and used a rip that's "good enough" to watch." Especially when you're posting on AnimeForever's board. I can't speak for anyone else on the group, but I'm personally a bit offended that people are advertising for AniKraze on this board. No offense to anyone *from* AniKraze who's reading this--coz you'd probably feel the same way if they did that to you.
Okay, *puts diplomacy hat back on.*

Well, I checked out the Ani-Kraze version, and after viewing it, I'd like to make a request for the FGF version: please don't use animated subtitles during action scenes. I know it's something that Ani-Kraze is somewhat known for, but it's reaaallly distracting when you're trying to watch an action scene while a block of text flies all over the place. Heck, I completely missed a Kaze no Kizu because the rotating text was demanding it be the center of attention rather than what was actually going on onscreen.
So, um, yeah. I know FGF doesn't tend do that kind of thing, anyway, and I'm eternally grateful for it. La.

An update on the second movie situation as far as FGF goes:
1) Yes, we are translating it. I believe we even have the same raw source as Ani-Kraze did.
2) No, we will not release it until we have the DVD version. It was a tough call but the lack of audio at the end sinched it...I would personally feel bad to deprive the fans of that scene. (Hey, I wanna know what happens too

)
3) No, we don't care if you watch somebody else's version. The only thing we ask is don't turn it into a competition, and don't go around slamming other groups/channels. The great thing about fansubs is you get to pick which ones you watch

So if that all makes sense...

Where was this pixel crap someone metioned above?
I think it was here (see image). I thought it was just quicktime, but I tried several other players (including MPlayer X and VLC), and it comes up every time, in the same place. Considering BT doesn't allow for errors in files downloaded (yay md5), the glitch is in the master (or their conversion of the master, more likely)

Spoilers and such...
Just saw the movie last night and I thought it was pretty good, a lot better than the first one. "Killing off" Naraku in the beginning was a great way to start it off; it made way for a lot of really interesting scenes, many of which even seemed to foreshadow the actual series ending, whatever that may eventually be. Miroku losing the kazaana, Sango finding her brother at last, Kagome wondering what she would do once they finally found all of the shards (I think that might have been a first), and so on. That alone made it worthwhile for me.
The animation was a lot better than I thought it would be. The characters were actually drawn fairly well during a lot of the movie; it only got really out of hand during the extreme close-ups of the characters' faces (some of which made me wince). I
loved the fight sequences, especially the opening one. That's one of the things that makes the movies cool--you can't do that kind of stuff with a normal anime budget. Movie 3's action scenes should be amazing if this is any indication.
The video was pretty decent quality; about the same as a normal episode, I thought. Still, the DVD version should be a lot more impressive and I'm glad AF/FGF is holding out for that, especially since the lack of audio at the very end of this did leave me wondering what was actually going on.
All in all, I'm really looking forward to the AF/FGF release; it should be worth the extra wait.

I've got it in two parts, and I might be able to put up some, slow, hosting for it over BitTorrent later.

Btw some of those that ive seen in that quailty had sceens that were nothing but shades of the same colour. Now that is when it becomes unwacthable!

I don't think anyone knows what they say, since it is a screener. I guess we just have to wait for the dvd release to find out.

Well I figure it has something to do with the kiss and InuYasha probably said something about it and that is when he made the face. I will download the whole movie again just so I can hear that part, lol.

Unfortunately, there ARE no words to that last ending part. The screener (which seems to be VHS source) is missing about a minute of audio from the end. So I'm afraid neither Ani-Kraze nor FGF knows yet. Also, for those of you wondering about the corruption: yes, there is some corruption in the source. Whether or not you noticed it (since it tends to just be a quick flash) it IS there. However, both of these were things that kept FGF/AF-F from releasing a version.

Don't worry it has nothing to do with the tv series and it won't spoil anything if you do

It is more accurate to say that it is a seperate story from the ongoing one shown on TV. However, the second movie is one for
Inuyasha fans primarily (IMO) and knowledge of the anime (or manga) will make it more enjoyable.

gomen... i know i was being rude >_> I just get annoyed sometimes how quick people are in here to try to exclude others or limit their activity or ability to get anime. I don't understand why there was any good reason not to answer the guy. Sure, he was new and it might have sounded rude but when i read that, it just sounded more excited than anything. Like something my little sister would say without knowing better.
That's why i've stopped posting in here, it reminds me of a bunch of bickering children. People are getting picky and excessively intolerant. I've even seen admins locking forums that include episodes they haven't subbed yet. Is it rude to discuss unsubbed episodes? I can't imagine that it would be... sure, you're subbing. but who hasn't pointed out a million times that this is not a game or a race to see who subs faster... why should it matter at all who's sub we watch first or discuss?
Sorry, really am not trying to be mean/rude and I'm not picking on you Moon, i actually don't dislike any of the admins on here.... just it's sad that i can't use this forum anymore due to the massive amounts of BS and immaturity that I have to deal with everytime i read something in here.
By the way, I guess calling someone an ingrate isn't calling them a name, but none the less it's incredibly rude and childish.

I guess since I'm one of this forums Mods, I need to state something.
Forum moderators, whether or not it's fair, have complete control over their forums. If we decide something is rude, then it is. If we want a topic closed and avoided, then we can make it happen. If you disagree with anything we do...well... I'm sorry but I believe the phrase goes something like..."tough cookies"?
Anyway, I'm very sorry if anyone feels they cannot have fun on these forums because of the immaturity. I know I've been trying very hard to tidy up in here, and if you want to help, I'd say the best thing to do is :
Have fun
Be nice and polite
Ignore bothersome rudeness
So if we could all do those things, I think the forum would be a much happier place, ne?
Moonbeamdanser
Mar 17 2004, 10:38 PM
For the record, I'm a moderator, not an admin....merely the barest step up from any other user here, the only difference being that I have the ability to edit posts that don't belong to me; and the only reason such a priveledge has been bestowed upon me is simply due to the fact that I am one of the AF-F staff.
We lock the threads because to us, it is disrespectful. It's common practice across the boards with most other fansubbing groups...it's a reaction to common courtesy having gone astray. By posting about episodes that have been subbed by another group ahead of ours, it's akin to saying "wow, your work doesn't really matter cuz I can get it somewhere else." Not to mention the fact that oftentimes the people posting such threads are repeat offenders that refuse to take the hint OR outright request not to do so. After seeing so much of it, it wears you down, and you resort merely to locking things out of sheer exhaustion from it. We're only human.
I'm sorry that you seem to feel that way about this place, but it's really not something that needs to be openly discussed on these forums. If you want to further discuss this matter, feel free to PM me. Otherwise, I would prefer such issues not come up in such a manner...it only serves to heighten anxieties and raise irritation levels.
And yes, I am locking this thread. And yes, it is my choice, and mine alone. If anyone would care to discuss it, feel free to PM me.
