For me its was Yuri, yes I was serious.

Now its Bankotsu, he's not exactly smart like a leader for a group so ruthless, but he's great fighter. Plus that amazing weapon of his, too cool. I think Renkotsu would be a better leader! He's more of a thinker than a fighter.

My favorite villain is Sesshoumaru-sama!

I love watching Sesshoumaru-sama. Neither black nor white, on the side of good or evil, and both with mysterious and presumably complex motives & goals all their own. I love grey characters, and the fact that you find so many of them in good anime.

Honestly, the only character in the whole thing who I absolutely hate & would really relish helping to tear limb from limb is Naraku, because he's just so much FUN (I always end up laughing out loud whenever he's in a scene)!

You shall always, always refer to Inuyasha's brother as Sesshoumaru-sama! In case your wondering, "sama" means "greatness" or something like that.

Actually, -sama is an address title used for ones higher ups -- big time superiors, like a lord or someone else highly respected. (Sorry, couldn't resist ^_~)

Hoahhhh... my favorite villain is Kagura. Kanna is very cool and serene, but Kagura's flippant attitude just rocks! She just knows how to push people's buttons (except for Sesshoumaru...no one knows how to push his buttons...uhm...heheh).

However its hard to think of Sesshoumaru-sama as a true dark villain as Feh! pointed out. Also everyone would like to see Naraku ripped to shreds.

Kagura, is evil no matter how I look at it. She just doesn't like being Naraku's puppet.

Still so far until Bankotsu loses my vote his my favorite villain.

I have 4 so far in the series.....but I would start off by agreeing with Feh! I feel that Kikyou and Sesshoumaru are grey characters....I mean they do some fuxxxed up sh1t to Inuyasha but then they look out for him too, no need to go into detail unless any of you want me too......

*SPOILERS MAYBE.......PROBABLY*

1. Goshinki - he was such a bastard because he could read minds. I remember when he had those 2 little kids cornered and said, "I bet you are waiting for mommy and daddy to come save you.....you can meet them in my belly." He scared the sh1t out of the Inuyasha crew too......Plus he broke the Tessiaga with his teeth and pushed Inuyasha over the edge so that his youkai blood took over! And the Toukijin was forged from his teeth. Oh yes he rocked.

2. Ryokuyusesie (big dragon) I like him cuz Inuyasha used the Bakuruyaaha against him and rips his huge ass body into shreds.

3. Gatenmaru/Jakotsu - they are tied for the gayest characters in the series....I swear if they would have met the would have hooked up......I like Gatenmaru because he pushed Inuyasha into his full youkai mode and then Inuyasha slaughtered the whole band of thieves but three.
Jakotsu is just funny as hell thats why I like him.

how come almost EVERYONE likes sesshoumaru? i think he's okay...but he doesn't appear in the series enough to be really interesting/cool/cute/whatever.... he's always somewhere far away, and when he DOES meet Inu Yahsa he fights him for a bit then walks away

So it's allways a heart skipping moment when he comes.

I like Jakotsu as my second favorite villain.

naraku is kinda dead as well...well..he was born from someone that got eaten...i mean....how dead can you get?

I thought that the way Naraku looks now,
is only parts of youkai bodies put together?
Once he let Onigumo out, but then absorbed him again.
Onigumo may be asleep inside of him or seomething,
but I don't believe he's really dead.

his heart is onigumo's (he couldn't kill kikyou because of that)...onigumo is dead, so naraku technically is dead....but the youkai that he absorbed when they ate him are keeping him alive (my best guess there.... not sure of course)

Kikyou and Sesshoumaru(alright, alright)-sama are my favorite (as it was put earlier in this thread) 'grey characters'. They aren't evil... they just dun care about heroes Note how Kikyou has recently backed off of Inu-chan ~does the happy dance of happy happiness~ even though he's still stuck on her.

Favorite villain. Seeing as how I want to take Naraku and *censored for violence*, I guess that makes him a good villain. He needs to be mercilessly tortured....

But Jakotsu is my favorite No contest.

Cause he can kick Renkotsu's ASS that's why!! You could see how much Renkotsu feared Bankotsu in episode 110 (or maybe it was 111). He's just a little power hungry punk.

the best villain in the series is sesshoumaru-sama without question that is if you consider him a villain i see him as more of a vegeta type character who is only interested in becoming stronger. Does anyone else think Bankotsu is about ten million times cooler a villain than naraku he should kill naraku and be the new bad guy in my opinion the shichinintai were a great addition to the series

But Sesshoumaru-sama is still my nubmer oon villain.

Villain suits him, but he's not crazy and witty like a villain.
As I said before... he's in his own little world (universe?).

Naraku just needs to die. I don't care how, I don't care why, and I don't particularly care who takes his place (though it would be uber spiffy if the shichinintai took his place as the villains... even though they're really only getting revenge and thus far have no connection or interest in Inuyasha other than Naraku. Except Jakotsu.... but he's not really evil, he just has a twisted sense of attraction ^^).

Coolest villain: Sesshomaru (and whether or not he is a villain, as mentioned, is debatable).

Cutest villain: Koryu (Souten's little dragon)

Hardest villain to beat: Goshiki definitely

Saddest villain: Gyuoh (felt really sad for this guy, even though he almost destroyed Inuyasha)

Everyone's favourite villain: Mdm Centipede (remember, if she didn't pull Kagome from the present into the past, there would be no Inuyasha series) hehehe

goshinki is the hardest to beat....... thats interesting since he lasted all of one episode many other villains have yet to be beaten

*BUT*... I must say this. Goshinki broke Tetsusaiga with his teeth. he ugly brute gets villain points for that.

the thing that will piss me off the most is if the series kills off some of the coolest characters its ever had like Bankotsu and Suikotsu when lame asses like kouga kikyou and kagura and kanna get to stick around forever the shichinintai are the best thing that has happened to IY in a while and it was starting to need something fresh

Sesshoumaru, he's comparable to Sephiroth of FFVII fame.

if being as cool as Sephiroth is cool then Sesshoumaru is the closest thing we have and probably ever will see to him. But until sesshoumaru kills kagome with toukijin Sephiroth holds the advantage since he slayed Aeris with his Masamune

Alright, that's a stretch... if Sesshoumaru sama killed Kagome, I'm afraid I would have to start drawing doujinshi and writing fanfics about my fancharrie Eniko kicking his ass. Besides... that just doesn't fit his character. If he wanted to kill Kagome, I think he would have done so already.

what Bankotsu means is that in order to have a female lead killed in the story, the producers create a super cool character in order for the audience to accept it... if she was to die by some ***** random char, the audience would hate it...
