There are many Initial D movies out there, i wanna hear the opinion of the Initial D fans

What each is about:

Initial D Third Stage-Just what it sounds like, ID2 leaves some loose ends and third stage finishes them

Initial D Extra Stage-Its a movie about Saiyuki and Mako, thats pretty much it

Initial D Battle Stage-I personally like this one, its a movie of all the important battles with redone cg

Well with ID Third Stage would like to really get us to do since i dont have a real good copy of it to begin with. and the rest i can live with out a super copy of although battle stage wouldnt be that bad either to do.

just a thought but it might seem like a lot of work...
maybe we should re-release First Stage =)

i think you should do all of ID, it's a great series and deserves great fansubbing cuz i can't wait to watch it in good quality the crappy quality i got off of Kazaa is almost unbearable to watch

Well, should try to look at ones that haven’t being heavily subbed yet... There are like 4/5 different versions of Third Stage and one at most of Battle Stage and Extra Stage... So might want to look into those first... With New CG and release date of 2002 Extra Stage sure has potential of being a great release...

Still wish that series wouldn't end on the note that it did.... <grumble> Would of being nice to see further into life of main chars on their road to success.

Well, I came here and i got a taste of ID stage 2 ep 9 & 10... I was hooked.

so much that i SCRAPPED KAZAA for all eps. and got EVERYTHING that same weekend!!!

I really like the work you guys do( really great quality), but the eps. I got of Kazaa are just a few stripes below yours at about 180 to 190mb per ep.

Their quality is very good. enough that i have to acknowledge.

If you want I can give them to who ever ..... I have all stage , all stage 2, stage 3, extra stage and battle stage.

BUT.... I really dont think you have to resub.... I think it should be dont only if you want that credit under your belt...

WHAT I THINK YOU SHOULD JUMP ON IS THE NEXT STAGE (4) WHENEVER IT COMES OUT!!!!!

I think you should continue the fansubbing, most of the 2nd stage fansubs have been from the Cantonese version of the series. I watched episode 10 and found that the subbing of both very similar with few differences, but probably b/c of the language difference. The beginning is somewhat different in the Cantonese version where you can't hear the engine sounds. I've been trying to find the Cantonese DVD's online, but have been unlucky. I don't know much Cantonese, but have family that do.

I'd like to see Extra stage fansub'ed since the Resolution on it is low.

if u really wanna sub more of initial d then i say go right ahead but dont waste ur time with extra stage.....it sucks

I got all the Initial Ds on DVD Currently sending Battle and 3rd Stage to SidudE for subbing purposes. I agree with Gogzilla that extra stage sucks, its more of a love story then racing. drama maybe?

hmm... i only can find some eps from ID2.. anyone has all the eps from ep1 for ID??

I've seen all of Initial D and if you ask me, Battle Stage isn't worth it. It's crappy and all it is, is every battel of the first and second stage put together on one DVD. Basically, the whole point of it was to get more people to buy more Initial D stuff and to hold fans off until the third stage relesased. And Extra Stage isn't all that bad, but it's fan made. The Third Stage is really good, so I suggest that one.

If I remember correctly, the Battle Stage is about an hour review of the first two stages and the extra stage movie.

lol...... i dont think it matters... they havent even finished... 3 of the last epis. of id stage 2.... for like.. hmmm... 4 MONTHS?!?!

I should know...I just spent about the last 5 days rewatching stage 1 and 2. Shame I won't have time to watch the next stage till thursday at best.

I hear they are makin a 4th stage now... I have what claims to be its soundtrack already (sounds nice). Just make sure to do that one when you get a chance.

Initial D 4th stage is out already one raw on the anime.mircx site. Should check it out and so far it's lookin good.

I'd like for you guys to sub all of Initial D.
But I'd also like for you to rerelease stage 1, I haven't got that one .
So please please rerelease stage 1!!!

Nah, actually had to move home from the dorms. Took a couple days just to get to the point of setting up my router at the parent's house and getting my computer back to normal (was fkd up just before I moved.) So yeah...bah... guess maybe i'll work on one of the 3 (plz tell me it's only 3) parts i need to do for it.
R3, you better not disappear, last thing I need is to also encode it as well with my 128kbps up connect. =(

All of them would be very nice to have access too. I do have the Battle Stage though, and I must say that I was a bit disappointed in that movie. But I would be excited to get access to the 3rd stage movie, and the extra stage movie.
