Full Version: Sesshomaru Vs Sephiroth
Who do you think would win if these two bad asses ever met with everything on the line? They both have some unique abilitys which would make it a must see battle. I dunno for me the jury is still out on that one.

Once again this is a kinda lame poll to have cause this is an IY forum a lot of people who havent even played FF VII will vote for sesshoumaru by default.
Sephiroths strength is mind boggling, Sesshoumaru would get cut in half by one swing of Sephiroths Masamune.
Sephiroth can cure himself and restore his energy over and over also he can use incredibly powerful fire lightning ice and Earth magic.
In the later part of the game he also becomes a god where Sesshoumaru would have no chance. He can summon meteors at you which destroy planets wtf is Sess gonna do about that. The attack is called supernova and safer sephiroth uses it for any of you non believers.
He is also considerably more cunning and devious, need i remind all of you he killed Aeris.
Killing the female lead is and unprecedented move for a video game or anime.
In my opinion the greatest moment in gaming history.

I voted for sesshoumaru cuz it would make Bankotsu mad

If Sesshomaru can survive couple rounds or The Knights of the Rounds, I'll admit that he's stronger. Otherwise, I gotta say it's pretty damn close.

im afraid sepiroth would win
here are the reasons why
1: sepiroth has died many times, and been reborn each time except once
2: he can destroy planets with a single move, so to speak
3: he cloned himself, technically. so if sesshoumaru beats sepiroth, he will either be reborn, are one of his "clones" will fight seshomaru......
4: he can heal
5. hes a one winged angel that flies. thats just cooler than sesshoumaru.
about the only reason going for sesshoumaru is that his sword is better. some people think the masamune is better because its longer, but its not the size that counts, its how you use it. besides, the masamune never did that much damage.
it also depends on which version of fighting took place. if they fought eachother ff style, not only would sepiroth win, but the fight would be overly drawn out and increadibly boring and anti climatic. if they fought Inu Yasha style, not only would sepiroth win, but lots of stock footage of mountains blowing up would be used, and it would be even more drawn out.......oh wait, thats dbz. sorry. if it was done Inu Yasha style, it would probably be more interesting to watch, and kagome's safety would somehow be involved.
in conclusion, sepiroth would eventually win, but sesshoumaru would walk away before losing to save his precious ego.
note: yes, i hate dbz. yes, im an ff fanboy, though my opinion is not biased because im also an Inu Yasha fanboy. and yes, im posting on an anime forum at 2:15 a.m. knowing full well i have to work tomorrow.

despite my favouritism towards Sesshomaru, I think Sephiroth would win in a fight quite easily if circumstances are fair.
Let's take a look.
Sesshomaru's final form is when he turns into the giant dog, lets also assume he has ascended his father's throne and gains Tai-youkai status. He is powerful beyond belief and one swing of his sword can quite literally destory a mountain.
now take a look a sephiroth, again final form, with the wing and his sword. He will also have some powerful GF to back him up. Any for Bahamut Zero? Not only that but if you really piss him off, he could summon metoer and that would be the end of fluffy.
Too rediculous to match these two, power level is just too off.
try something along the line of Kurama or Hiei from Yu Yu, or Recca and Kurei from Flame of Recca or even Onime no Kyo from Samurai Deeper and you'll have a more even match.

The most important thing to beat him is when he does his sin harvester....Through your key at him with ...strike? i think,,, and that stops him from doing it...also make sure you havea few elixers just in case...cause when he snaps when you get to his last power meter and casts meteor...Watch out...

Yeah its a great game...The closeist thing i can compaire it to would have to be the newer Zelda games...But it has charactes from alot of disney stuff and Final fantasy
