so i was just thinking of how kikyou made the coment that if inuyasha used the jewl to turn into a full human it may purify it and it will just disappear. (spring special 2004)

so if that was true maybe we are being show how the series will end eventually.

kindof interesting as the jewl is the struggle between a human and youki kindof good verse evil thing, and we see the same struggle in inuyasha. so it would make sence that if the jewl were used to make a hanyou human it would win the battle and the jewl would be purified.

just a thought :-)

Hm. I personally believe that Kikyou is going to sacrifice herself in the final fight, thereby relinquishing her bit of now-notably-more-pure-and-therefore-more-powerful soul to Kagome so the girl can deal a big death blow...and that in the end, Inuyasha will use the Shikon to turn human, having learned from watching his friends that being human doesn't mean you're weak, and since his demon side scares him; it serves the dual purpose of making it so that he won't outlive all his friends (a niggling little fact that drives me nuts to think about) but also to banish the Shikon from the earth. happy.gif

i think it makes sense that inuyasha would use the shikon no tama to turn human in order to live in kagome's world. but i feel both inuyasha and kagome already accept him as a hanyou, so i don't think it would be such an obvious (although convenient) ending as that. but who knows, maybe takahashi wants a convenient ending.

Inuyasha turning human would a change for takahashi. In my eye, it would be some kind of a resolution. Unlike her Ranma 1/2, where nothing changed at the end of the series. All the characters remained pretty much the same.

My friend keeps telling me the same thing, but I don't think that's necessarily the correct way of thinking. Ranma and Inuyasha are two totally different stories, and I think it wouldn't make any sense if Takahashi didn't end it with a definite resolution. Ranma didn't really have a central plot, just a lot of crazy situations, but, in Inuyasha, there are things that MUST be resolved (i.e. How the Shikon no Tama is obtained and used, what happens to Kohaku, Kagura, Kouga, Kikyo etc, what time period Kagome stays in)

I just think it would be illogical for her to leave the ending at Inuyasha's group picking up the completed jewel, and then clear up nothing else. (lol i think it's because I've been waiting for Inuyasha and Kagome to kiss for 155 episodes now! wub.gif )

They might be different stories, but they have one thing in common: how they keep dragging on and on and on and on and on and on. Like the Energizer Bunny. I don't think I will ever see a conclusion. I don't think she has a conclusion.

InuYasha and Kagome hasn't really advanced like Ranma and Akane. They're kind of stuck at this Kikyou stage. At least Miroku and Sango has gone to another level. That's something, I've never seen that in her previous writing, so I'll give takahashi that.

I'm not interested in Inu/Kag/kik thingy. I think I stop at ep 50 with their love stuff. I was rooting for Kik. Still somewhat but now I could careless if Inu and Kagome get seperated at the end like Van and hitomi(escaflowne), which of course would make me happy. Somehow, I'm just annoy by this tri-love stuff. That doesn't amke me feel sad seeing ppl get speerated. yes, I'm a very heartless guy...sorry... smiley_X(.gif
Ok.. just saw 154-157...I'm really glad I waited. Omg... those 4 eps just make my interested for Inu go back up top. Sess....too wicked...
Highlight to read better [Spoiler: Info of eps 155 +]For once in a very long time, Naraku actually fight. And the best part is it show that he could be killed. There I thought it couldn't. And damn Naraku is a very evil badass vilian. Using Hakoudoushi like that. OMG...got to admire Naraku evilness. sad.gif Oh yeah, Inu got a 3 sword now. That is cool. However, it make byuuoho(spelling) look so freaking weak and useless. Seriously, Naraku never seen the move and Inu did it on him with kize no (strongest shit there is) and didnt' even scratch Naraku's barrier. Also, so much for umm what was it...red tessagai. This I could understand since Inu used on Naraku. So of course he had to find something to prevent that. while he was in that mountain. BUT BARUUYU(spelling).....*sigh*..

Anyway, I just thought of this after I saw 154-157. If 500yr laters(kagome time), there seem to be NO Youkai like Sesshoumaru or those lil bum youkai, then my question is.. where the hell are they? Sesshoumaru could live for maybe 600yr and youkai do reproduce. Now with all that typed... to the topic(sort of)...ending reveal...Shikon no tama will be destroy or disappear but...instead of purifying Inuyasha or anything. It MIGHT(just in case I get bombard:)) wipe out entire youkai(Inuyasha included:P)'s race. That have got to be the reason for human to dominate Earth in 1997(forget when Manag started).
