I can see where "Down With The Sickness" would fit that part of movie 2, but I think it goes much better with the parts of the series when Inuyasha goes full youkai. Actually, someone even made an Inuyasha AMV to that song, which is not exactly the best AMV I've ever seen, but is still not that bad.
Anyway, here are a few of my own picks (and while we're at it, proving once again that my taste in music is rather odd)...
"Something There" (Disney's Beauty and the Beast) - Inuyasha and Kagome
Inuyasha and Kagome might as well be the stars of that movie. XD It's no coincidence there's so many (unfortunately, bad) AU Inuyasha fanfics with this theme. It fits them almost perfectly.
"Where Are You Going" (Dave Matthews Band) - Miroku and Sango
I quoted the song in a ficlet about the pair once.
;; I like the chorus; I think it suits them very well. Miroku and Sango are kind of a very random match at first, but there's just something so right about them, somehow.
"Save The Best For Last" (Vanessa Williams) - Inuyasha and Kagome (again)... and probably Kikyou too
Perfect little theme for the love triangle that frustrates the heck out of everybody. The second verse sounds an awful lot like Kagome's thoughts.
"Mad World" (Gary Jules) - Kohaku
Unfortunately, this song does remind me of Kohaku an awful lot. Poor Kohaku. :blue:
"The Fragile" (Nine Inch Nails) - Miroku and Sango
This song, particularly the acoustic version, kind of reminds me of the angstier side of Miroku and Sango...
"You'll Be In My Heart" (Phil Collins, Disney's Tarzan) - Izayoi and Inuyasha
Cute li'l baby Inu... it must have been incredibly tough on his poor mother to have to deal with all the prejudice against youkai back when she was raising him. Sigh...
"With Or Without You" (U2) - Inuyasha and Kagome
"I can't live with or without you..." Heh... it kind of reminds all the times when Kagome would dive back into the well after an argument, and Inuyasha would rant and growl about it for a few hours, and afterwards just kinda sit there waiting for her like a lost little puppy.
And I agree that "You Oughta Know" is a pretty good fit for Kikyou... XD

Yeah, I think pretty much all of the Linkin Park songs I've heard can be applied to Inuyasha. Evanescence too. (Both of which Maternal Unit loves...)
My Mother won't stop playing that bleedin' song! XD So yes, naturally, I always think of our couple when she plays it.
Heck, I don't think there's a song that I can't associate Inuyasha with XDDDD (Maybe something by Justin Timberlake, but even then I'd probably come up with something :B)
