Is there any significance to the interest I feel for both Sesshumara and Legolas? Like something about guys with pointy ears and long flowing white hair?

Yowza, now there's a first topic for ya 0_o It's a good question though--why do so many chicks go in for the effeminate guys? It seems to be a fairly common trend in anime--the heartthrob guys are always pretty and/or have long hair. Which is very interesting to compare to the American stereotypes--on one hand, you get the girls who like the rugged, squared-chinned guys...and then there's Leonardo DiCaprio, or Justin Timberlake, the guys who are slightly more childish. I know I'm just attracted to more feminine faces in general, but what about other people?

Pointy ears are damn sexy though. I wish I had some.

There was a study- where women, when asked who were more appealing, picked less macho lookin guys. (they took some faces and altered them photographically- rounder and softer for more feminine.) I LOVE gentle, nice guys ( been married to one for twenty two years- and yes, he has long, white hair, too, but not pointy ears) , but that's NOT Seeshumaru..
