By chance I turned on Adult Swim for a little Inuyasha action tonight. It's now April 1st, which must be why they're doing it....but...

Mustaches, glasses, goatees, and even hats keep appearing on the characters. Which is especially hilarious because it's an angsty Sango/Kohaku episode.

So....hilarious. Who else had the pleasure of seeing it?

Hehehehehe... I tuned in just in time to see Naraku with a big, fat mustache scribbled on him! Heeheehee... And he was talking about the shard... and when they showed it, it... *snicker* The shard had a little baby mustache! XD

Ohh.. But it was only funny those first few times. It got annoying pretty fast.

Heh... I did. (Might as well delete my thread in Gen. Admission, incidentally, if someone gets a chance--no point in it being there if there's a thread here. ;;)

It had me cracking up every few minutes. I gave up on trying to finish my soda halfway through, because, well... you can imagine. XD Even though they did basically just keep doing the same thing, they did it randomly enough so that it stayed funny. Really funny, at least to me.

Naraku's first appearance in full baboon wear was the best. The hat and the huge beard... XD I wish I had a pic of it. It killed me, it really did. Inuyasha's face near the very end was hilarious too. His eyes...

Really?? I gotta see this...1.5 more hours till it shows here. I'll add to my post when I see it. :rolleyes:

XD Man not only was Inuyasha 'Bearded/Mustached', all the other shows were too! Though it wasn't as funny in Big O cuz half the people in Big O look like they're supposed to have beards and mustaches anyway. (Though in Big O, this guy went "Huh?" at a woman in the crowd, but I thought he was looking at the floating balloon with a beard XD)

I completely cracked up when they did the Shikon jewel XD and the shards too. It's just funnier when they put beards on inanimate objects XDD

Did anyone see that part where Kagome's mustache "fell" down and became Sango's? I was sitting there laughing by myself for no less than 5 minutes. It was just impossible to sympathize with Sango with all those bearded Shikon shards and jewels floating around. Man, that hat and giant beard on the baboon pelt got me too...

XDD DUDE! For the first time... I laughed not because of the butchered pronunciation!! *hides*

When Kagome was looking for Naraku and the moustache appeared over the glowing fragment, that did it for me. I was snorting water everywhere. XD Not to mention when Kagome was telling Inuyasha that they all had to stick together at the end... with the pipe sticking out of her mouth.

I should have mucked up this week's chapter like that. XD

But then I wouldn't be original. Hehehe.

Damn, and I feel bad for watching my SmallVille DVD set... I woulda loved to have seen this..

I too died at the hat and beard naraku got. I also liked when they put the mustache in the middle of nowhere and then the character would move into it perfectly XD

Actually, I taped WHR last night since I was out of town, and I hadn't seen the series from the beginning. ... What a way to start. ^_^* Unfortunately, the recording ended right at Inu's title screen, so I didn't get to see any of that.

I too tape WHR and for fun i let it tape a bit longer to see which Inuyasha episode they tape, I havent' watched it yet, i'm trying to hold out till the weekend.

Knowing what is to come only makes me more excited.

I only saw WHR last night. I started watching Inuyasha to see if they would appear, but tuned out too fast. Bummer. Anyways, my favorite part in WHR was when they did a mustache in the briefing room. It went from character to character from left to right. It was hilarious. Also Zeizen's facial hair and specs were awesome. As I was reading through, that kept popping into my head and I laughed adn unfortunately swallowed my gum. Damn. Hehe, funny stuff.

Ah. I thought they were some kinda hallucinating deal with witch hunter robin.
I was moderately disturbed.

When I saw them I thought it was either something wrong with the TV or I was going insane (Think I already am though). Once I realized what it was 'n stoof, I started laughing and actually had to wake my brother up for him to see it before I was convinced that I saw what it really was. I feel soooooo much better now that I know that Adult Swim is indeed just a bunch of InuYasha ( Big O, WHR, ect. )hating freaks! GRR!........Anyway, bye!

I'd hardly say they hate those shows, or else they wouldn't have aired them. They just don't take them as seriously as we do, which some would say is a good thing.

Actually, they're probably pretty big fans of their shows if they went to all the effort they did for this joke. You could tell they had a lot of fun doing it.

Heck, who wouldn't have enjoyed that? I still can't for the life of me understand why some people (not necessarily just in this forum) were complaining about it. First of all, considering that most IY fans claim to hate the dub anyway, I can hardly see why they'd have cared. And second, it wasn't like it was the first time CN ran that episode... and doesn't everyone always complain about the repeats anyway? You just can't please some folks...

I think the rabid Inuyasha fans (the 12 year olds who can't shut about timeslot changes, mostly) have annoyed them and many former "sorta-fans" to the point of disliking the show. I couldn't believe that, considering this is about the 5th time they've shown that episode (possible more), some people still complained. At least this time they had the foresight to shut the forums down ahead of time

I <3 Adult Swim. I know people get all angsty because they play dubbed anime, but they're really not allowed to put on anime in japanese, and I think they're doing a wonderful job spreading the love and joy of anime to late-night cartoon watchers. Plus...they just dont play anime on adult swim, they have hilarious american adult cartoons too XDDDD Ok...plus...those cards are always so damn hilarious....omg! And the whole flying alligator versus flying shark thing!!! HILARIOUS! XDDD
