I was wondering if there are any Inuyasha episodes I could download so I could see how it is for real, I'm even craking up by making it up XD
Faye
Well.. no, there isn't that I know.

I watch.. (or watched better said, they canceled it in Episode 104, sleep.gif) the spanish version, and you know, the voices didn't bother me like I thought it would.. (Except Jakotsu.. OMG) it was the translation, Sesshoumaru for example.. they killed his essence smiley_X(.gif he appeared more evil.. with a evil smirk he did in each episode he appeared.. even if in the original version he wasn't smirking/laughing..

But anyway, Kagome (Aome in spanish, for err... "Kago" with C its like a swear word here, so it sounded bad) had a lively voice, just like in the original.. Sango had a little more softer voice, that bother me but it's ok, Miroku has the best voice.. his voice actor makes ad-libs ^^ and Shippou's too. I like Sesshoumaru's voice too.. but well, I hate when the VA smirks. Inuyasha.. err no comment. Jaken.. sigh, I didn't like his voice >< oh and Naraku and Kagura.. they have the best voices with Miroku I think.

Hopefully I'll find clips and I'll post them.

I saw 2 eps of the Spanish dub...wasnt that bad, even though I cant understand Spanish! I downloaded them off Kazaa/WinMX

But, how did they make Sesshoumaru "Smirk", if it didn't appear in the original. Did they just repeat an old scene many times?

Now I must see the spanish version. :x I wonder if Inuyasha anime came out in french.. I know the manga did, but...
Inuyashafan
I understand more spanish that I do Japanese...I just hope that the Spanish dub is very good. In Mexico do they show both the opening and ending themes or just the ending themes like Canada and the USA does it?
Amethyst_Scream
I'd only asume it would be the same in all foreign countries.

But, where I live, they play the original ending rather than the english version, but still keep the English dub. o.o;;

I remember hearing the Portuguese version of "My Will" once. ::laughs::
Kagome
In the spanish dub I saw it had both an ending and an opening, both sung in Spanish which, actually, didnt seem too bad

I think what Faye meant was that when he said something, he would always go "heh.." or something like that...

When they change a song to another language, the original singer doesn't sing it right?

*goes back to watch LE marathon ^^*

XD! Oh course they don't.

If I heard that V6 sang the English "I want to change the word", or if do as infinity made the english "Fukai Mori" (deep forest). I think I'd strangle myself.

The spanish "I am" wasn't that bad. O_o
Laura517
Actually....I believe that somewhere there is a "change the world" sung in english...from V6. And yes, it does make some people want to strangle themselves. Go look for it on kazaa or whatever.
Tsaiah
Er...probably shouldn't admit this, but I like V6's English version of I Want to Change the World. Really like it. A lot. Like, I've driven my husband crazy listening to it multiple times in a row. On more than one occasion.

He says he gets sick of the "quacking" beat sound that isn't present in the original Japanese version. Which I also like a lot.

...I think I'll go away and hide now.
Amethyst_Scream
I'm not sure if V6 made an english of it..

But the one that they play in the Inuyasha dub opening... It doesn't sound like them at all and there is no possible way they could have sung it.
Considering, I am a huge V6 fan... I know they did not sing it. O_O
Just like do as infinity did NOT sing the "deep forest ending" (Fukai mori)

>.> Also, The Accent factor. They couldn't have thrown their away their accents away in a second.
<Hear do as infinity's "break of Dawn" or "Summer Days", and you will see what I mean. ::laughs::

::I think I will also go away and hide, now..::

<The original artist never makes an english version for dubbers... well not that I know of...>
Patrioil
well... V6 DID do an english version... but the one you hear in the american dub is Alto Max... or hatever his name is tongue.gif he makes me think of the word BOITDAY cake ...for some weird brooklyn reason.

same goes for the american version of Fukai Mori
Amethyst_Scream
The people with the "brooklyn accents" all seemed to have moved into Staten Island. :laughs::

Well, thanks for the information. ^^
>.> Now I want to hear this song for some strange reason..

::crawls back under the table::

Hmm... Maybe I should download a few eps to study for spanish class. biggrin.gif

XD Tsaitsai! Get your butt back out here and stand strong with a fellow Change my Clothes... I mean... CHange the World lover! XD

Beacuse Kurpo also likes Change the World. Although... not the English version. You'll have to stand alone there. wink.gif

And Kurpo also drives her husband nuts when playing the song on endless repeat. On multiple occasions. XD One Day, One Dream drives him nuts, too. XD BUT STILL! KURPO LIKES IT!! XD

... Kurpo "ex-dee"-ed an awful lot in this horrendously off-topic post, didn't she? *Kurpo hides from t3h moddehs... who she loves, btw...!*
Sailor_Inu-lover
