As much as I love seeing Inuyasha And Kagome together.
I would like to see more of Kouga and kagome develope a Friendship, I can see how he respects her because she is so blunt, but I think the main reason he says he "loves" her is because he doesn't like Inuyasha and wants to bug since he know Kagome will never let them fight.

I too love thier interactions. I would never want anything to happen i just like to see Inuyasha jealous. Especially episode 66 when Inuyasha is holding on to Kagome and Kouga has Inuyasha by the foot trying to pull him off of her....too precious

Well... Kouga "loves" Kagome 'cus she's got spunk.
Just look at him when she slapped him like that.
But I don't know if Kouga would want to only be friends...
I know he really doesn't love her... he just want her to be his.
But just looked at what happened when Akane and Ryouga were friends...
(and keep in mind that Ryouga REALLY loves Akane)

Akane: Ryouga! Is what I said bothering you?
Ryouga: A-Akane...
Akane: But you made me say it... "I hate you" I mean.
Ryouga: I don't need your sympathy!
Akane: But the truth is... I feel exactly the opposite!
Ryouga: Eh...? *blushing*
Ryouga: But... but... you don't... *blush*
Akane: I do mean it! C'mon... let's be friends forever!
Ryouga: Let's be... friends...? *falling from heaven to hell*
