Now Naraku Does not usually do any of his owm work.
Now I what I'm tyring to figure out is that because he feels he is to good for
it. Or does it have something to do with when he was an invalid as Onigumo?

In a lot of eps he is always confident and you would assume that he very capable, but he doesn't
since he does have many demons inside him he should be abe to do some kind of damage instead of sitting in his castle watching from afar.[COLOR=purple]

I think at first he was testing their abilities to see how good of a fighter they were and how they responded as a group.

I think it's just strategy. He doesn't go out and take his enemies on directly because, no matter how strong he is, he'd just as soon not take any risks. I like that--it shows that unlike most villains, he just might use his brain every so often.

I think strategy is great but if he is just seeing how strong the opponent is i am sure he has gotten his fill. I personally want to see some kind of fight.
However i could totally see if he is just incapable do transformations creating new detatchments and so on.
But as we have seen before every time he send some one out to do his dirty work they fail.

True, but i think he is waiting for his perfect moment to strike.

Personally i think he should attack while they are in the midst of a fight with the Shichinintai because everyone would be so busy and distracted, how could they cope with all the Shichinintai and Naraku at the same time.

or mabey he knows he can not defeat them so he plays these games. like if i cant beat em physically, I'll just keepem busy.
just a thought it may be obvious but do you think he throws all these other demons out while he collecting shards?

good theory if he was smart that is what he should be doing, collecting as many shards as he could while keeping them busy.

The series would end too early if Naraku and Inuyasha's group already had a big fight to death by now.

Besides, if Naraku died, who would become the new main villain of the show? Souten of the Thunder Beasts?

I have to say that Sess is a pretty "bad' guy he goes after Inu then losses and tries something else. Mabey I have just read to many mangas and get tired of every one complaining that naraku doesn't get dirty.
Just once i ant to see him fight but not use his whole potentional just to show the gang that he is holding out but can still walk the walk.

It is true that Naraku doesnt fight much but he has in the past. I think my favorite fight of all time was the Naraku v Inuyasha v Shessomaru fight i think it was eps 83 or 85 ...
