Ok, here's another interesting thing I noticed.
In episode 30 Sango brings Naraku Inuyasha's sword, when she see him, she attacks him, she throws the Tessaiga at him, and then a blade comes out of her wrist like on the guy from Blue Seed. They clash some more, and Naraku beats her up bad.
But the point is, he had NO problem holding the Tessaiga, he only used it as a regular sword though. I would greatly assume he can hold it because he has human in him (Onigumo) even if he is MOSTLY demon.
When Sesshoumaru-sama was able to hold Tessaiga he was able to transform it and use the Kaza no Kaze, even though at that time he had no intentions of protecting any humans. The arm DID have a Shikon shard.
Since Naraku can hold Tessaiga, and has many Shikon shards, and does have some feelings for Kikyo [a human] (even if he doesnt want to)... doesn't this all mean that he should be able to use the Tessaiga just as Inuyasha does? It seems to me all he has to do is learn how, as Inuyasha has to learn the techniques. Sesshoumaru-sama already knew the techniques because he is a god
hehe
But Naraku didnt really get a chance to play around with it, because then Kagome ripped his body apart with a purifying arrow making him run away and drop the sword.

Naraku should be able to wield the sword because he is a hanyou. He has his time when he goes back to his human form just like Inu Yasha. So in theory, he could wield the sword and learn how to use it.

Inuyasha says in the Gatenmaru ep:
"Tetsusaiga chooses it's own master",
so even though Naraku's a hanyou, he wouldn't be able to do anything.
And he doesn't seem to use the Shikon shards by himself,
only to implant into others and so on.
Like "helping" Sesshoumaru-sama... you know.
But I don't think Naraku cares about Tetsusaiga... or does he?

If he did care about Tetsuiaga, I think it would be purely because it is Inu Yasha's implement for Naraku's destruction. If I were in Naraku's place, Tetsuiaga could be a valuable asset because it would be more difficult for Inu Yasha to kill Naraku.

But I thought the sword wouldn't transform until the owner wanted to protect a human? am i wrong on this???

I agree I dont think Naraku care about the tetsuiaga, I think his main purpose is destroying IY.
Before IY even knew about Naraku He wanted to kill him which is why he offered his proposition(sp?) To Sess. But As far as him ever being able to actually USE the sword I doubt He ever could even with Practice.
one of my etremely slight thoeries for Sess Being able to use the sword is because he and IY are blood. I haven't seen anyone else who picks it up make it Transform.

I thought that was true as well, untill someone brought up the point that Sessh held it transformed.

But Sesshoumaru-sama can't even touch the Tetsusaiga,
the reason he could use it was because of the Shikon shard.
The shard Naraku implanted into an arm (why all these arms?).
The Shikon shard made it possible for the Tetsusaiga to transform,
for Sesshoumaru-sama to wield it and use Kaze no Kizu.
Even though he and IY are related, Tetsusaiga rejects him.

I gree with Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru being able to transform it because they are blod and their father did make the sword for each of them.
It doesn't mean anyone can't hold it they just can't use it.
I think Sesshourmaru was able to transform it because he had a human arm with a shard in it......however it should still only reply to protect a human....although using the arm the sword could think that a human was under attack and needed protecting......hhmmm

Ohhhhhhh....well that makes more sense

It has been a long time since I have seen the earlier episodes, so I was going on my shady memory (which I should never rely on)

If people can only properly use Tessaiga when they want to protect humans...
Wouldn't it be tight if, in an episode, Sesshomaru is able to hold and use Tessaiga with his own hand while saving Rin? That would be cool to see, since he's normally not able to use Tessaiga.

I have another mabey outlandish idea...
What if Naraku could weild the tetsusaiga if he were trying to proect kikyo.
Since he still has feeling for her that is ofcourse if I dismiss the idea of only Sess and IY
being able to USE it.

You have to remember that both swords are/were made out of their fathers fangs. Each sword conveys what their father believed that each boy needed the most.
Tetsusaiga protects Inuyasha and the people he cares about. Without the Tetsusaiga he falls prey to his demonic blood and goes berserk and kills every one. With the Tetsusaiga he can tap into his father and later his power to access super powerful attacks.
Tetsuiaga is created to teach Sesshomaru companion for humanity.
I don't believe that Naraku could use the Swords for this reason.

well i think only inuyasha and sesshoumaru can wield the blade since it recognized their fathers blood in them

the reason sesshomaru could use the sword that time was not because of the shikon shard, it was because the arm he was given was human. the shikon shard made it strong, sure, but it's sesshomaru' s youkai-ness that makes it impossible for him to touch the sword in the first place... hence the use of a human arm making it possible for him to both touch and use it.

ok since the arm is human Sess can touch it, but its blood (family) that allows him to use it properly. We all know at this time Sess had no intention of helping any humans.

Okay, hummingbird1975, you don't seem to get it.
The reason Sesshoumaru-sama could wield Tetsusaiga,
was not because he and Inuyasha have their fathers blood.
Sesshoumaru's arm was human, therefore he could touch it.
The arm had a Shikon shard, which activated Tetsusaiga.

what says a shikon shard can activate a demonblade, we all know it can boost ones strength but nothing says that it can activate Tetsusaiga

Thanks Patrioil
I think I do get but mabey I don't agree.
I dont agree that the shikon shard can activate the the sword.
Is that ok?
At any Rate Inuyasha and Sess both are pure I mean in cofidence so mabey thats is what can react the sword. naraku is still tomented by his hate and love for kikyo which is why if we believe he is a hanyou why he could not actvate the sword but could touch it. This is just a thought.
