Full Version: Adult Shippo...

Adult shippo... we see him once in an episode... during a flash farward or something. I think its the one where he has a "crush" for a human girl.

Anywho, I wonder, if the show goes on long enough, or if they have a cut to x years later type thing... if we will ever see an adult shippo in action.

He seems like he would be a powerful youkai as an adult, he is just weak because he is a kid.

Anywho, sharing my random thoughts makes me happy biggrin.gif

In that episode when Souten draws Shippou...
I don't think he's older... Souten just sees him in a "manlier" way.

And I would never believe that the serie would continue for so long
that we actually see Shippou get older. No Takahashi manga does.
But maybe... yeah... maybe we'll get to see how he looks in a couple of years,
even if it's just for a second... that would be fun.

And about how old Shippou is.
Even though they say "That was 50 years ago,
you were just a little kid back then" we should not trust it.
It's not a part of the manga,
it's just a fillout and nothing more.
At least I don't count that to the story.

And... would Shippou really be that strong?
He's father got killed after all...

Kitsune, as I understand it, have no power other than illusion and trickery, but that's how they fight in this series. Shippo just has to learn to fight with his tricks and illusions. The fox uses his cunning, not his strength.

and shippo has been in so many fights that by the time he is an adult, he should be able to do some really cool stuff. Rather than making happy cartoonish things, maybe angry scary things that would frighten an opponent off. biggrin.gif

He sounds like one, eh?

I also thought that, until I saw that episode. To be honest, it was a really good character building episode. Hilarious.
