Sir Lucius
So I was browsing the newsgroups the other day and stumbled upon a D.A.I. live album. Anyways there was a live version of Shinjitsu no Uta which I'd thought I'd share :]

I'm sure a lot of you have already heard it, but I kind of wanted to discuss it. It's definitely a faster version of the song, kind of bit more upbeat -- well, not really, but still faster. I dunno, I always enjoy the live versions of songs I like.

I forgot I downloaded this a couple days ago. I didn't get a chance to listen to it until now.

It's good! This is my favorite IY song, so I love hearing a new version of it. It's more rock-and-roll-sounding than the original... more guitar, drums, etc. And like you said, it's a bit faster. A bit louder, too... the instruments almost drown out the lead singer's voice toward the end. I'm not sure whether I like that more or not, but it's definitely different.

All in all, pretty cool. happy.gif Thanks for sharing the MP3!

I thought the song was "Shinjitsu No Shi"?

Well anyway, does anyone know the name of the current ending song?

(BTW, like my sig? biggrin.gif )

That is a nice sig, even though I'm not as crazy about Sess as some of the other people around here.

Anyway, I've heard both--that is, I've heard it called "Shinjitsu no Shi" and "Shinjitsu no Uta." The kanji during the ending song is for "shi", I think... but the lines in the actual song are "shinjitsu no uta." Google gives you 300+ hits if you search for "shinjitsu no uta", but only 200-something if you search for "shinjitsu no shi."

I honestly don't know which it actually is, so I stick with Shinjitsu no Uta.

Current ending song is "Itazurana Kiss" by... someone... oh! Day After Tomorrow.

Any chances of finding the full version of it somewhere on the 'net?

I've tried google, but all that comes up is the TV version. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Here's the full studio version: http://www.phoenix-blaze.com/~sirlucius/In...%20no%20Uta.mp3
Also, there's an MC track on the live album before the song. She definitally says Uta:

Oh and what's the differnce between "shinjitsu no shi" and "shinjitsu no uta" translation wise?
Patrioil
Shinjitsu no Uta = The Song of Belief
Shinjitsu no Shi = The Death of Belief

I think it's The Song of Belief,
it makes more sense, you know...

Actually, when I looked up the kanji it was more like "Song of Truth" VS "Poem of Truth." And in a pinch, "uta" can also mean "poem"... so it's a bit harder to tell.

Still sticking with Shinjitsu no Uta, though. I think it sounds nicer, too.

Do you mean Itazurana Kiss? If so, I don't think the full version is out yet.
Sir Lucius
ohhhh....the 6th ending.

If I had a full version I'd host it, but I don't, so sorry :/

I happened to go to J-Pop Swedens page...
I'm thinking of buying an album or two. tongue.gif

Anyways, I found an Do as Infinity Album,
which was named "Shinjitsu no Shi"...
so now I'm a little confused... they DO sing "Shinjitsu no uta".
