AGH!

::rushes to download::
LOL, MMD--I've read the manga as well, so it's not much of a surprise... but I still can't wait to see the episode.

Plus, lately the new eppies have had new music in them, from what I guess will be a forthcoming 3rd Inuyasha OST. Since I love the IY music, that's a major bonus as well.
Oh, I hope this ep is good! I'll know in about... twelve hours.

Episode was kinda weak if you ask me, no Sesshoumaru after he was shown to figure something out in the last one, that was odd. Always more interesting when hes around. Does anyone ever get seriously injured in these fights anymore, Iy got a little scratch on him this time around cmon folks we need some more holes punched in stomachs or just something besides the swords clanging and showing the same screenshot 2 or 3 times in the same episode
Oh well whatever guess ill go watch an episode of Kenshin to remind me of what a fight scene should be like.

ok... it should be ok with no spoiler labels now... [Edited]
well Xeph, you were right... all my questions are answered, i had no idea about that place, but the thought of some holy dead person slightly passed my mind yesterday after what you posted on 111 discution... (and after i posted as well)
Another thing, Shintaru looks very much like Miroku (and same proffesion), dont you think?
that halberd rulz but dont let the shape and size blind you, cause Tetsussaiga is by far superior... (it also depends on the chars themselves)
overall the episode was filling with INFO... and that was really good...

Spoiler-ish Thing
I'd laugh if it turns out the Shinintai were just regular mercs with cool skills that fought in a time where everyone was evil and it turns out the holy doodle likes them or something. Could be some wild way to explain why it helps out big sword doodle in 113.

damn... hate when it happens... I wanna see that episode... I may take off my FServ for couple of hours because of this... I must see IY 112... and than... talk about it... LOL... I guess my InuNostalgia month isn't going too well... so I might take off all the 64 first episodes of IY in order to save space in my HD (1.5GB left for me... and it's not enough), I will ask u people about it later cause most of u are asleep right now... well... see ya later when I'll see the episode...

Well yeah i'd have to say 112 isnt quite one of those action filled episodes...
*SPOILER*
BUT it leads into a huge (u can taste it from the preview) battle between Bankotsu and Inuyasha... uhm and about sess and rin... well they make an appearance in 113

Rin is so cute (as always)

I loved the episode cause it did explain about the barriere but i had major problems with it: (I'm trying out the Grey font I hopw it works...otherwise sorry guys skip over my post)
[COLOR=gray]What was up with Kagome does she ever fire an arrow anymore????? She so could have taken out Bankotsu or his sword while they (Inuyasha and Bankotsu) were fighting. I mean Bankotsu had his back to Kagome.
That's all i have to say for now

Really, just 'cause Sess and Rin weren't involved for once doesn't automatically make this a bad episode!

If you only watch Inuyasha to see Sesshoumaru kick ass, I'm sorry to tell you you're going to be disappointed during a whole lot of the Shichinintai saga, because it's Yasha who does most of the work here, and rightfully so... it being his show and all.

Personally, I thought this episode was great. I agree with Ozymen that getting all of that info was worthwhile (even if I already knew it before watching). It was about time, too.
Guess this next bit is sorta spoilish...
Plus--Miroku gets to save the day! I love it when he gets a chance to shine like that, however brief it was. Inuyasha would have likely been toast without him. Go Houshi-sama!

Go for the bittorrent download instead of waiting for people to share it on Kazza. I don't even touch kazza with a 10 foot poll. Even if it IS the "lite" version, I don't care. It's messed up too many computers.
I agree with the post about getting more "hits" in or something. Inuyasha got one scratch in the whole thing, but I'm assuming that we'll see more in ep 113 when the "big" battle seems like it'll take place.
(spoilers, yeah, but you shouldn't read this topic if you dont want spoilers. heh)

Loved this ep and every one that has come out!
Anyway its good to see an ep where doesn't get pounded into the ground by Kagome's sit command. Not to mention Miruko willing to sow his seed and quickly being reminded by his Lady companion!
This ep had alot of action! The scence with Miruko rubbing those things in his face were so FUNNY, as if Shippo had a choice in the matter!
Another great ep. now I got wait to figure out if the holy man is not being manuplated by Naruko!
Same Channel, Same Site, Same Link until next week ep hang in thier Inuyasha.

Well, it's just a thought, but how much of a difference would a purifying arrow have had on Bankotsu when they were
already surrounded by a purifying barrier? It's sort of akin to using a fan when the house is already air-conditioned. Doesn't really help things much.

Though I could easily be wrong.
Also, she seemed to focus on helping out in other ways first. Kagome doesn't exactly strike me as a born warrior. Her instinctive reaction in a lot of situations seems to be to observe and try to figure a way out first. She usually doesn't use her arrows until things are down to the wire and she has no other option. At the time, Inuyasha was more or less holding his own (though it was clear that wasn't going to last), so she didn't take any action. She probably would have fired if the situation turned really dire.

Bankotsu is affected by the barrier put up by the dokko, but as Inuyasha points out while busting through it, it's not particularly strong - compared to that, Kagome's arrow would be a concentrated burst of purifying energy. After all, Inuyasha can handle barriers pretty well (this one, and the one put up by Tsubaki earlier on), but he knows enough to step lightly around Kagome and Kikyou's arrows.
Besides, SPOILER SPACE -->
if the anime follows the manga, that's exactly what happens - Kagome shoots an arrow at Bankotsu and melts away his arm to help Inuyasha after the dokko starts moving on its own and slams into Tessaiga and undos the transformation.
It was a pretty decent episode in all - I liked the additions made by the animation team, particularly the cute way they portrayed the Shippou scenes (the Miroku-rubbing-ofuda-on-Shippou scene was pretty hilarious, as was the Inuyasha-throwing-fisherman-to-the-ground - how typically Inuyasha to hit first and ask questions later).

Much better than the way episode 109 turned out, which was a bit of a disappointment.
And yes, Miroku standing next to Shintarou and both holding staffs really made them look alike.

Hay all of you haters out there that are saying that this is just filler are full of Sh**. An important revelation is had in this episode. Spoiler:
Naraku is using the holy one’s power to hide out in the holy mountain while he is recomposing himself. Like it isn’t obvious when Kohaku goes in the cave fallowed by Rin and she sees all those demons. WTF that’s Naraku, it’s like it has to be spelled out for you to get it. Can’t you fallow a simple plot twist.(I'v only watched up to 12)

Nonetheless it told us something we already knew, everyone already knew naraku is hiding there it could have said how he was hiding there in 10 seconds i was complaining about the weakness of the fight scenes of late and how the best character on the show was nowhere to be found, which unfortunately is becoming common so learn to read.

Boy, now I'm embarassed--I'd completely forgotten about that (and also about that spoiler as well). It's been so long since I read those parts of the manga... I need to go back and read them again. The whole middle part of the Shichinin-tai arc is a blur to me; besides for the major stuff, I can only really remember the beginning and end.

I just saw it, and I have no complaints. I would've liked more intense fighting, but everything happening during the battle is necessary to the plot development, so I can deal. Besides, I can't wait for some of the parts from the manga to be animated that deal with Naraku convincing Hakushin-shounin-sama to come to his aid (which will be soon).
Hehe, Inuyasha cracked me up with that, "So what you're trying to say is "raisin monk," line.

Hmm, not the greatest ep, I was rather looking forward to a Seshoumaru fight. This fight wasn't very nicely animated, just the dreaded still-frame-style. Sigh.. Naruto...... Oh well, at least the story is nice. I'm really glad there is an overal storyarc again, where you keep finding out more and more. Perhaps I'm just dumb, but lately I haven't been able to predict all plot-changes anymore, which I find a very good thing. The only problem now is the not-dying part: You know the good guys can't die, which got all the excitement out of that time the human gang 'died'. Also, I can already tell Bankotsu isn't going to die in this fight, since he's the big bad boss, who's going to die last. That's one of the reasons I like Yuu Watase's work: You never know who's going to die. Don't get me wrong, I like Rumiko's (hope I spelled it right) work too, but if Yuu Watase was writing, even Shippo could just get killed. That adds a lot of excitement to the story IMHO.
Oh well, can't be helped, let's just hope the next episode will have cool action animation.

Actually lots of people can die. Kohaku for instance is on the edge of death b/c that shard has to come out sometime. Kikiyo is already dead, and then that leaves everyone else. Of course there is a way to bring them back...but it'd be pretty damn intense to see Sesshoumaru use tensaiga on miroku or kagome.
Oh, and Shintarou is a pretty good canidate for death.
