Actually, even though he's not my "pick" of the men of Inuyasha (Inu-chan has been and will always be my favorite dog-boy), I've rather liked Fluffy-sama since the beginning...but never more so than when he interacts with Rin! (Although it's a lot of fun to watch him menacing Jaken, too...)

You shall never call Sesshoumaru-sama without the honorific "sama"!

I must say, this was the most amusing random thing I've run into all day. Probably because it made me think of Excel Saga, with Sesshoumaru = Il Palazzo and Jaken/Rin as Excel and Hyatt:

Sesshoumaru: "This series is corrupt! Stupid humans and hanyou everywhere stealing the screen time! I, Sesshoumaru must cleanse the anime and rid it of this third-rate filth."

Rin: "Wai! Sesshoumaru-sama!"

Yes all hail Lord Sesshoumaru-sama, as Jaken reminds us evey-time!

Sesshoumaru-sama is one of those characters that bonds to something in me. His way of doing things is so blatant, whether right or wrong he does he OWN thing, his way, and only his way. I love this character, Sesshoumaru-sama is the Man, maybe cause I am the older brother too! And having a Inuyasha for a brother is pain in the rear at times.

but then he kinda slept through 50 years, so...

I didn't think of Sesshoumaru-sama's age in the beginning.
And neither Kikyou nor Kagome
seems to have a problem with Inuyasha's age, right?
They look young, therefore they are young.

maybe sesshoumaru is a bit jealous of Inu Yasha .... maybe because he had a mother? (did sesshoumaru know his mother?) or maybe because Kikyou sealed Inu Yasha.. Sesshoumaru thinks Inu Yasha is a weakling remember?

Inu Yasha was in a semi-dead state, so he shouldn't have aged either...

Kagome should be -500 years old or something.... but because she can travel through time in an instant she doesn't age as well...

leaves us with sesshoumaru, who has been bouncing around the world for those 50 years....

Neither Sesshoumaru-sama nor Inuyasha
seems to care about their father,
so I don't think Sesshoumaru-sama cares for his mother.
And since he's a true youkai, he must have a youkai mom.
Maybe youkai parents just leave their offspring?

Inuyasha seems to care for his mom a lot,
but that's probably because he grew up with her.
And BTW, in episode 13 when he turns human,
and Kagome cries for him,
Inuyasha get's really affected by her crying,
is that because the time when his mother cried for him?
Inuyasha: "Am I a Hanyou?"
Mother: ... [she hugs him and cries]

well who knows about sesshoumaru caring for his mom, he never mentioned her... maybe he had some bad childhood memories about inu yasha or hsi mom ? : o)

(didnt work though ) remember the time IY (first time) say thank you to kagome? when she undid Tetsusaiga's transformation while wielded by Sesshoumaru? aiming at him and stuff... (cant recall what she said) but Sesshoumaru was irritated and said "InuYasha, keep her out of this..."

Seshoumaru is my favorite IY character, but thats only because of his immense power. He could take down anyone else in the series. I can't wait till episode 112, he's gonna kick some Shichinintai ass!

Sesshoumaru is without question the coolest character in IY but why doesnt he get himself another arm and keep it you would think he would be able to stab himself with tenseiga and bring it back since jaken who was sliced in half was brought back why wouldnt that work, i guess when your as strong as him one arm doesnt effect you very much.........

Tensaiga can only slay the demons that drag a soul into Hell. As for the fact that when Jaken was cut in half and brought back.... I dont know maybe you have to die for it to work, maybe it only heals fatal injuries.

I think you have to die to be healed by Tenseiga...
BTW, what is this obsession with arms in this serie?
I think I brought it up once (and then, maybe not).
But everybody seems to drop an arm or two,
and if not, they get hurt (Kouga and Kikyou...)!

Tenseiga is supposed to be a healing sword. Not a simple phoenix+sword. At its highest level it can revive a hundred beings similar to Inuyasha's sword being able to destroy a hundred beings at its highest level. (Maybe more than hundred could be thousand, i forget the exact number mentioned)

Sesshomaru being the uber cool character that he is though, immediately mastered it into life revival. I think most likely you need a delicate touch to get the healing to work at the lower levels too. The life revival is too much like what Sesshomaru is good at. Killing. 'Cept here he is killing netherworld demons.

And by the way. Inuyasha is still a moron, though he has his moments. Very VERY rare ones.

he doesn't think at all! It's so irritating.

BTW, about the Tenseiga.
Sesshoumaru-sama seems to be able to handle it.
But sometimes he does because it tells him so.
What about when he "saved" Kanta's dad?

it is obvious that Tenseiga tells Sesshoumaru to use it, because it happened 3 or 4 times. Anyways what i think is that tenseiga in paticular was handed to sesshoumaru because he had a tendency of killing ppl before he changed. And inuyasha being half-deamon and half-human, would turn out human loving was given the other sword by his father

Actually Mystic, the reasons you spoke about are the exact same things Jaken or that blacksmith character(i think it was the blacksmith) said. He too told them why they were given those particular swords.

The reason why Sesshoumaru-sama doesn't get another arm is probably because after trying those first few(human arm w/Shikon shard, and dragon arm), he realizes no other arm can compare with the rest of his body and we know how he despises inferior things(ie Inuyasha). About the only arm I could see hi musing is his father's. What I'd love to see is a flash-back of Sesshoumaru-sama and Inuyasha's father( do we know his name?) in human form. Also, one has to wonder just how much older Sesshoumaru-sama is than Inuyasha. Can you imagine Sesshoumaru at the age of Shippou? :shock: I bet he still ruled then too...
