Yeah, Miroku's shakujou is very cool. (So many uses--whacking hanyous on the head, slicing up demons and Naraku's roots, performing Buddhist rites, walking stick... it pays for itself! ) And the kazaana is one of the most original weapons I've ever seen. I still wonder what the heck Rumiko Takahashi was on when she came up with that. A black hole in his hand that sucks in anything but is near-uncontrollable and will also suck him in one day. It's not the type of idea that usually hits someone out of nowhere, that's for sure. :ph34r:

That said, Kohaku's weapon, the kusara kama, is just too damn cool.

I had to vote for Keade, Kikyou & Kagome's bow and arrow.

Even though Kohaku's sickles' and Suikotsu's steel claws
were close to winning, I had to go with the magic bow. ^^
I like Kohaku's sickles', they're cool and pretty handy,
and Suikotsu looks so much like Wolverine from X-Men.
But I'm cheering for Kagome, I think she's the strongest.

Hey Post-Whore this is Favorite Weapon not strongest Character . And isn't Kohaku's weapon a Kama not a sickle? Or whatever someone in an earlier post said.

Hm. I like Inuyasha's sword... It's big, it's powerful, and it shoots yellow light that destroys everything in its path (lol). I also like Miroku's kazaana, though. It's pretty awesome to be able to suck everything up in its path. Although I don't like the part about him being sucked into it as well (of course).

Check out this site. It's all about weapons in IY, although it is about the weapons from the manga version so you might not be interested.

Hmm, Seshoumaru's sword combo can't be beaten. A powerfull attack sword that can rival Tessaiga easily enoguh, and Tensaiga's power is really cool and usefull too. Second would be Kohaku's weapon. No powerfull special moves perhaps, but highly effective and cool. Jakotsu's sword is nice too, but a bit strange. Inu yasha's and Bankotsu's weapons are good, powerfull, but not as good as Seshoumaru's arsenal since he has two different weapons. There always seems to be an excuse why Miroku can't use his Air void, so that one isn't worth much. As is Sango's boomerang, which seems to bounce of any enemy that matters. Kikyo uses her bow well enough, but Kagome can only shoot purifying arrows, and it use seems limited to single youkai, or enemies that are looking the other way. If she used it more and better, I might like it better. And Kaede can't do anything usefull with it. Jaken's wand seems to have lost a good deal of it's power after frying that army in ep 6 or so. Suikotsu's claws look pretty cool, but they're no my favourite. And Naraku isn't using any cool weapons (It would be fun if he got a real weapon too)

Bankotsu probably used Ionic propolsion to levitate like that. It's when Positively charged ions come off the metal of the sword and hit oxygen molecules thus creating thrust. I have an experiment if anyone has a couple bucks to spend.

bankotsu's sword looked coolest to me. miroku's kazaana is also really tight. and i like hiraikotsu, mostly because sango spends half her time bonking the houshi with it.

and bankotsu's sword IS better than inuyasha's sword, in the sense that it is always big and ready for action. OTOH, when inuyasha is low on energy, sometimes inuyasha's sword isn't up to the task and stays in its small shrunken state.

That's because Bankotsu's sword is just a toy he aquired to compensate for his human frailty. Inuyasha's is a real sword that he inherited from his daddy. He can't help that it gets so big when Kagome needs him. And the fact that it can still protect Kagome in its small, shrunken state kinda says something.

Jakotsu's snake sword is definitely the most awesome, just.....because. Bankotsu and Inuyasha may have the biggest swords, but Jakotsu has the longest, and most flexible

And on the subject of weapons...... I may be a major Sesshoumaru fan, but I absolutely despise his Toukijin. I watch him now yelling, "Use the poison again! The POISON! Use your CLAWS, you whimp!" His coolness has diminished ever since he became so dependant on that sword. I miss his whip And there was just something about the way he cracked his fingers....

Well I was between Sesshou's Two swords or Jakotsu's Snake sword. But I had to go with Toukijin and Tensaiga. I mean that is the coolest combo ever.
