Hi everybody. Today i decided to make an inuyasha desktop wallpaper and since it is inuyahsa and this is anime forevers forums i thought i would share it with everydody. I would also like to hear what everybody thinks of it and please bear in mind this is only the second time i have ever tried to make a wallpaper.

Nah it's pretty good actually! But-- why does it look like you colored inuyasha and kagome's hair in black? What happened to the highlights? Shouldn't those be there? Also-- they look a little thickly outlined.

I really like that wallpaper! I like a little bit of a cute factor. Sometimes I am in a not so cute mood, but I usually change my wallpaper about every 2 weeks or so or whenever I get sick of looking at it. On my computer at home I have a nice Kenshin wallpaper and here at work I have as Last Exile wallpaper, but I am thinking about using the IY wallpaper for here at work.

ooo you have a good eye...the highlights wernt actually in the picture i used and i did have to outline them or it didnt look right....

I definatly like it, and I'm gonna use it right away. Looks nicely made and all. Only bad point, Seshoumaru and Rin aren't in it

ahh, if you made the blu background darker, added more black, and outlined the kanji in black, it would be perfect for my desktop settings. so close....... iv been looking for an inu yasha wall paper to match my os for a while....


but yes, its pretty good.

woot, i like the kanji outlining, but yeah, the 2nd link doenst work, or you just have to register to see it.


edit: ok, the link works now, looks good. just, either my graphics card is started to overheat since the heatsink fell off it, or there really is a line about 3/4 up the image.\

its not a line, its like a difference in the background color's shading. right above inu yasha's forhead, the one in the background. the bigger inu yasha.....

Nice wallpapers, Cyberhunter. I like the Shippou one especially, it's cute but not sickeningly so.

Can we link to any of our own wallpapers here? I've made a few Inuyasha wallpapers in the past, though some are better than others. This is the one I'm using right now; I made it a few months ago, out of frustration at not being able to find any good Miroku backgrounds.

Oh, and if you're looking for Inuyasha pictures, this is one of the best sites I've found. Some really nice, high-quality scans. It doesn't have many screenshots, though--but the scans are fantastic. And there are lots of great pics of the cast, Rin and Sesshoumaru included.

Hrm, nice wallpaper! The only suggestion I'd make is that you might look at taking the Divx rainbows out of your main images (the fuzziness caused by bad encoding). You can do it pretty easily if you do the following in Photoshop or something similar:

1) Approximate the color a section should be by selecting a swath and "Gaussian blurring" it all together. Example: in your Shippou pick, select a band of the high yellow in his tail and blur it together to get a good approximation of the original.

2) Select the "razor-edge" tool (lets you select areas by clicking points on the drawing to make cutouts). Again, in the tail example you could select only the part of his tail that is light yellow.

3) Use the "paint" tool to repaint the section one solid color.

It's a pain in the ass, but it makes for a much cleaner background pic (and it's more easily resizable!) To give you a side-by-side comparision, here's the original for the Jakotsu background I'm working on:
