There's so much manga left, in fact the manga is still going. It's a good show, I dont see why it would end anytime soon.

I figure no more then another 20-30 eps...i mean cmon, how much longer is it gonna take to kill Naraku? And after hes dead do you really expct to see another villan comeing to take his place? and if there did would they even campare to naraku... naraku is just evil not many villans in all of anime even come close.but when they do end it i hope they do ATLEAST 1 full episode of stuff after Naraku dies...Preferably be like dragon ball z and do more.I hate it when stuff ends and doesnt explain enough of what happens after the bad guy dies...

i hope it ends better than ranma 1/2... cuz that was really a big let down for me...

I really hope it doesn't end in a movie. It takes SO long to get those movies over here-- I hope it ends in the series, some time from now. I'd be miserable if it ended anytime soon! I'd miss it SOOOO much :~( even though there are always great new animes coming out for me to watch-- inu yasha is just so awesome!

I didn't vote for any of the options.
The anime is at book 22 or something now,
and the manga is at book 32 and it's gonna be about 40.

The biggest sellers in Shounen Sunday
is Inuyasha and Meitantei Conan,
and Conan has released 5 movies and 350 episodes...
I don't think Inuyasha is gonna end yet, ppl.

Well, I'd miss it if it ended ofcourse, but on the other hand, I wouldn't want to have the story drag on, just because the story is popular and the producers want to fill their pockets a while longer. I like closed storylines. That's one of the reasons why I stoped watching ranma after the 4th season or so. It were just episodes for the sake of making them, not to advance the storyline. Now I wouldn't mind another good, well made storyarc like this Shicinintai story, but I would mind another string of filler eps and storylines that don't change anything. Like all those power-ranger-ripoffs, where they fight a new bad guy the Uber-lord sends at them each episode without anything really changing.

The Ranma½ anime didn't stick with the manga storyline.
It just went on and on and on in a very bad way.
The manga was awsome, and the stories were funny. ^^
But the OAV's did stick with the manga story... to a certain degree.
And the OAV was also pretty animated,
which the most OAV's are since you buy them . ^_~
Anyways the Ranma½ anime sux, the manga was the best.

The Inuyasha anime will probably continue a while longer,
it's on place 6 or 9 in Japan of poular manga/anime.
And when it's in the top 10 it usually means many episodes.

It is true, a lot of charaters are appearing.

you are really gonna get surprised.
because a lot of things is happening,
in both relationships and story. ^_~
I won't spoil anything, of course. But you'll see.

I've read ahead in the manga translations too so I know it's not going to end soon and it's really good actually and I don't think it's losing its steam so to speak like some people do.

I can easily see it going strong for at least another hundred episodes or so, especially since there'll probably be another quick round of filler eps after the Shichinin-tai arc and before the next story arc. The manga is getting very good now, so as long as the anime continues to follow, I don't think it will start dragging on just yet. Still, as good as it is, I don't think I'd want to see it go too far past episode 200... I don't think the series can keep this up indefinitely. Hopefully it will manage to find a nice balance between going on long enough to satisfy everybody, and dragging on for too long past that.

Man I hope it doesn't take another 100 eps. I'll have to Buy ALOT of Cd-rs. I already have like at least 30 discs with IY and I haven't burned 111-115 yet or my ranma S1-S3 or Trigun or Last Exile or Armitage III or the other Never ending list of anime I have. ANYWAY I am hoping for like 50-85 more eps cause we are already at 115. Anything past 200 is a little much.

Tell that to the creators of DBZ .

CDR's can get pricey, but that's why I buy them when they are almost free. I watch Office Max, Staples, and Circuit City fliers and see who has them like 100 CDs for $40 with a $40 rebate. I buy the cd's then get my rebate and I think I normally end up spending like $2 max after rebates for postage on the rebate and tax on the initial purchase.

Actually i saw the PSX ending, when the Shikon no Tama goes into shards again in Narak's hands. I think the series will end like this
like: Naraku wants to use the Shikon no Tama but goes into shards, and after that Inuyasha and Kagome kills Naraku, and they can happily collect the shikon shards AGAIN.

Gah, I hope not! There's something nice about the story never ending (namely: you don't have to say goodbye), but even so, I think that if the series ended with them having to find all the jewel shards again I'd go absolutely nuts. We wouldn't get to see how it all finally wrapped up! We wouldn't get to see what they finally decided to do with the jewel! I'd feel pretty cheated.

If Takahashi pulls something like that, I'm hitchhiking to Japan to force her to change it.

but then I wouldn't get to see her newe series...
