Naraku: I'm more happy to see you it seems, Kikyou. (huh? o_O)
I wanted to meet you. (don't trust me, I just got bored o_O)
Not quite.
Naraku: "Kukuku... you should look happier than that, Kikyou.
After all, you did want to confront me."
And, actually, Kikyou's comment about Kohaku's shard was something like: "His shard has been polluted by Naraku's jaki, however, this boy's soul is..." I'm going to guess the rest of that sentece was "uncorrupted", but I don't know.
Let's see... Kikyou shoots her arrow, it doesn't kill him. Naraku squeezes her tighter, preventing her from attacking again. Then he tells Kohaku to take her head o_O. Kohaku hesitates, but then Sango steps in. Naraku does the whole vanishing act, and Kagome shoots at him and misses.
Kikyou's pissed that she didn't sense Naraku coming. Inuyasha and Miroku explain to her the Fuyouheki. Sango asks if Kohaku hurt her, to which Kikyou says no, and thinks to herself that Kohaku's eyes weren't those of someone who was under a spell.
So, Kagura and Kohaku fly off, and Kohaku mentions that the baby is nearby. Kagura's surprised that he's speaking so freely AND addressing her without an honorific. Kohaku bargains with Kagura that they should team up. Kagura agrees that she won't tell Naraku about Kohaku's insubordination, since they're pretty much in the same boat.
Then Kikyou and Inu are talking, and Kagome comments to herself that she gets to talk to Inuyasha all the time, while Kikyou doesn't see him as much, so it's only right that they should have their share of conversation time. Kikyou comments that her Shikigami were onto something before they were killed, and that even though Naraku was pierced with her arrow, he didn't die. His heart must be outside his body somewhere. Inuyasha figures that this must be what Naraku's trying to hide with the Fuyouheki.
Naraku goes to a cave to hang out with the baby and give him the aforementioned Fuyouheki. He queries how the baby's going to use it... and the baby just grins evilly.
...
Well, hope that's a bit of a help.
