I defintely think all three of them have their good points. Miroku is hot because he's the bad boy type, but you know deep down he's probably really sweet, Kouga because he cares so much for Kagome, yes it is really annoying at times because your like okay let Inuyasha and Kagome do their own thing already! But i also think hes funny. Kouga's pretty good-looking too, though I didn't always think so. I wasn't sure what to make of his eyes (no pupils... I don't know, it's just kind of weird) and his... unusual dress-sense at first. But now that I'm used to him, I think his eyes are really nice. And he's got the best legs of any guy character on Inuyasha. (Heehee...)

But... I have to say, Inuyasha's the hottest. Nice long silver hair, adorable ears, and best of all, those intense gold eyes. I love Inuyasha's eyes. Especially when he's got that pensive, brooding expression on his face, or when he's about to fight someone...

Hehe, I voted for Kouga. But it's actually a tie with him and Inuyasha. Miroku is cute and all, but he's totally overshadowed by demon blood in my book.

If it were down to pure looks, I prolly woulda went with Inuyasha. But I factored personality and stuff in there too, and Kouga seems quite a bit more sure of himself and mature, and has no problem speaking his mind, whether it be aggressive thoughts or emotional. I think if Inuyasha would take a few tips in regards to woo'ing women (Kagome) and opening up a little, he'd have Kouga beat in every area.

My goodness. So many hot boys to choose from. If I had my way I would seduce Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, Kouga, Miroku, and Bankotsu. mmmmm. I cannot believe Sesshoumaru wasnt on the list! I've seen other polls and he usually comes in second. And after this last episode with the whole throwing the sword into Suikotsu while stabbing Jankotsu with his claws he is definitely up there.

I would have to say Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha tie for hottest. Sesshoumaru has two swords and an entourage. Hot damn he is beautiful. Inuyasha on the other hand has a huge sword, which is a turn on. And squeezably wonderful ears.... mmm. And that growl when he gets pissed. mmmmmmmm. And he is super cute in human form too! Both their personalities are awesome. And their fighting styles. I mean Sesshoumaru doesnt even look like he is trying. He even seems amused while fighting. He almost took out Jankotsu and Suikotsu while in the barrier... Both brothers crack their knuckles before fighting. I wish I were anime!

The whole fighting thing makes Miroku less awesome. Whipping out Kazaana is not the coolest attack ever, nor is throwing paper, nor is hitting people with his staff. He has a lot of things going for him, like not wearing the MC Hammer pants that Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha have, but he loses when it comes to fighting style. Same with Kouga, he is all defense, dodging around attacks. Although that one scene with the bloody shard in his hand won him a few points. And I dig the little fur skirt and the to-die-for blue eyes... And he has a pack of wolves that follow him around. He is pretty awesome.

Hiten, Bankotsu and Naraku have to be the hottest evil guys. Naraku has kinda the same thing going for him as Sesshoumaru, being all beautiful.... and ridiculously powerful. Bankotsu is pretty dang hot with the halbred. Being dead is a turnoff though. And Hiten was pretty hot too.

Whoo, that was a long rant.

Here's a humble two-cent addition to the investment in this thread, to analyze a group of characteristics besides just looks...

How can you ever put Miroku behind the rest? He actually has a genuine history (i.e. "Miroku" is named after Maitreya, the last Buddha, which is, I quote, "the best of men" to come upon the earth and lead people on a spiritual path). Miroku is wiser and more knowledgeable than most of the characters, right up there with Kikyo (when she's not evil). Someone made a remark about his battle skills being unimpressive. IMHO, the Kazaana beats other weapons by miles; true, it's not too flashy when suppressed, but you know you love it when it's used (and the Saimyoushou's poison just adds to the challenge). The air void is a curse as well as a weapon, far more original than any sword. He may die sooner or later because of it; all the more reason to show more sympathy towards him. He not only has the Kazaana, but a handy shakujou, both used as a weapon and spiritual instrument. One musn't confuse the ofuda with ordinary paper. They are blessed and energy-charged, very useful against any youkai or evil matter for the purpose of purification. Note also, knowledge is power.

Looks-wise, I can't argue with anyone, for it's a matter of personal taste (and everyone thinks they have it better ), but *semi-fangirlness* I simply feel that he is drop-dead gorgeous, with those deep lavender eyes, shoulder-length raven hair, lovely bangs, cute set of earrings that just scream "Dangle me!" ^o^, definitely a great body under the heavy stylish robes (oh, if only he would... *-*), and not to mention that ultra-sexy voice of Tsujitani-san which always ends in a throaty note (BTW, if you compare them with real people, Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru look out of place because of the white/silver hair and golden eyes, unless you're not counting real appearances...but I'm not going to dig into it). Inuyasha has that fierce, wild attractiveness to him. The dog-ears are actually more "cute" than sexy. He has nothing near the gentleness and sensitivity of Miroku. Sesshoumaru just has the "I am GOD so worship me" attitude, aside from posing in one place for all eternity. Now, I'll give Kouga the higher credit, given that I favor him after Miroku. He's wild like Inuyasha, very irrational, insensitive, but has some indescribable trait I admire. Perhaps it's the raw courage and selflessness he's been showing in recent episodes, all that Shichinin-tai butt being kicked.

I won't forget to mention how "Inu-Yasha" would terribly lack the delightful humor it has, if Miroku were out of the picture. He's a pervert, but an adorably innocent pervert.

When all's said and done, the amorous houshi earns the top of the list in my book. Makes you wonder why of all names, Takahashi-sensei named him "Miroku."
