Full Version: What About Inu And Kagome!?
#Animeforever > Animeforever Closed Projects > Inuyasha

Whatcha guys think about Inu and Kagome. I think that the movies are annoying cuz they dont really affect Inuyasha and Kagomes relationship in the Anime.

I missed maybe one or two episodes of Inuyasha but.....Has Inuyasha ever straight forward told Kagome about his feelings for her. Maybe even show his care in actions for her like holding hand cuddling or kissing(Kagome cuddles Inu all the time but I wanna know Vice versa)

Tell me whatcha guys think about Inu and Kagome...and dont drag this to another topic please. Happened to me TOO many times before! XD

I know this is off topic but I like you signature pic of inu and Kagome Sailor Inu_lover(If I mispelled just whack me)
Kagome
Inuyasha and Kagome are a really good couple. Unlike some of the people on here, who I love so much lol, I cant give you 6 paragraphs on why I think so.

They just..go together..Inuyasha and Kagome just sounds right when you say it..

In the anime, aside from one episode, that I think was filler, I can't bring to mind Inuyasha showing physical affection to Kagome. It was the one episode where they were sitting by the fire and Inuyasha says Kagome has a fever..she more or less leans onto him, but he doesn't really push her off

...and then theres the occanisal (sp) times when he carries her around which I think is how they show a lot of their affection.

Well, thats all I have to say..I havent posted in a while..just been lurking

KaGoMe um yea inuyasha and kagome go together like peas and carrots

really they are perfect for each other they both have short tempers and are violent. (girls violence is not the answer guys dont like being beat up by girls expecially when they dont want to hit back you may think it is funny but it hurts smiley_cry.gif ) but anywho they have a great chemisty in that they both care for each other but are not really mature enough to discuss it like adults so they just show it through actions.(*and Osuwari's)

only time i can think of where inuyasha expresses his love for kagome.... ummmm well yea never really
although i do remember him saying how much he hated how she smelled in the begining and he was lying becuase he loved the smell but that was before he really got to know her anyhow the smell he loved was just a reminder or kikiyou.

so i dont think i have seen him ever say it but you know how they feel with how the act.

in the end i think that both of them are really shy.. even kagome's little brother is better at expressing his feelings twards another than inuyasha and kagome. frankly it is really sad, but it is that tention that keeps me watching if they were all "i love you" it wouldnt be as much fun as the tension which builds from not saying anything..

i hope that makes sence. cool.gif

Thanks for the compliment. happy.gif But you must know by now that the changing of topics thing happens often around here. laugh.gif

As for what I think about Inuyasha and Kagome, I think it's funny that Inu never wants to admit in words what he feels, but clearly says it in actions. Like when ever Kouga comes and rivals him for Kagome. Or the way he hides behind her when Sango is pissed at him. I find those moments really funny. He's not afraid of demon's.... but a pissed Sango sends him running to hide behind Kagome. XD

What I don't understand is why Kagome doesn't realise that he loves her, I understand the whole 'ohh! There's Kikyo' thing. But come on, the way he acts you can clearly tell that he loves her, but he's just to stubborn or afraid to say it. sleep.gif

dry.gif And yes I love Inuyasha but I admit he can be rather dumm at times.

I think that's just the way he is; he's very shy when it comes to romance. Still, they say that actions speak louder than words and I agree that his actions do show that he really loves her. And a pissed-off Sango is far scarier than any youkai! XD

Well, what's obvious to the viewers/readers isn't always going to be obvious to the characters themselves - we get to see a lot more of what's going on than any fictional characters who are involved in the story. And Kagome can be pretty stubborn herself at times, to the point where her stubborness prevents her from seeing how things really are. (Don't get me wrong though - I like Kagome a lot, she's one of my favourite characters.) However, I do think that they will come to realise that each of them loves the other in turn by the end of the series. Even if they don't say it out loud they'll probably still come to some sort of mutual understanding of each others feelings.

I think the only thing that might even remotely annoy me about Inuyasha and Kagome is that they're the all-too-obvious "lead lovers" role. Girl meets boy, boy tries to rip girl in two, girl curses boy, boy and girl fall in love, boy's estranged ex comes back from dead, girl get persued by one-murderous other boy, girl and boy make goo-goo eyes at each other...

I mean, it's all too obvious, right?! I mean, they HAVE to get together because they're... like... meant to be together from the get go. From the first time Kagome sees Inuyasha pinned to the tree and instead of any forboding feelings, I got a feeling that she was somehow in some kind of curious state, but somehow at ease.

So you know they'll fall in love. The TWEAKED his EARS, for crying out loud!! Ear-tweaking equals declaration of love in my book!!!!11oneone

...I really shouldn't be drinking Pepsi this early in the morning. dry.gif

...Oh wait. It's already 1:00 pm. o_O And I haven't eaten real food since yesterday afternoon.

...That explains a lot.

Anyhow. Oh yeah. Kagome and Inuyasha.

Of all the couples, though, yep, Inuyasha and Kagome are my favorite. Their relationship is what I think got me into Inuyasha to begin with. It was that first hug tht did it for me. I'm a helpless romantic. Everything about that scene pulled the heartstrings. I felt all warm and fuzzy.

Then again, I remember I was also eating Taco Bell that night, so it might have been that.

Definitely. But I also think it's more than that. I think the boy is also painfully insecure about what to do. As time goes on, his affection for her becomes more and more obvious. He's always holding her, walking beside her, putting up with repeated sits, protecting her with all his heart...

They are adoreable! happy.gif

Well.....I think I inderstand why Inu doesnt tell her how he feels. He is a Hanyou for goodness sakes.....He hasnt ever really had someone to like him in the past..sept Kikyo(=P). Since he has never really had it happen before, he is a little shy on how to act or what to do. Like when he was first rough on Sango about her families death.....He just doesnt know how humans deal with their feelings, anger or whatever it may be.

I do think inu and Kagome are really good as couples.....But I like Chrno and Rossette better. Hell they dont mind killing to get their way =P..wait DAMN.....off topic again

*grabs Sailors hand and makes it slap him*......Thanks for the hand Sailor laugh.gif

Welp.....It is true that Inu shows it A LOT!!!!! He shows that he cares about Kagome so much that to me I tihnk he would give his life for her! Without hesitation.....sept that dern dirty sandwich man! Anyway I do think that is how it is between Inu-Kagome relatonship No doubt about it.

i think it is funny how you say the relationship is soo predictable.

but if you think about it most love stories are predictable. like chick flicks you know that the girl is going to get the guy.. and still at the end all the girls are crying while the guys just look around wondering what the fuss is about.

i guess this would be the same way. they are doing something that works and 'if it aint broke then dont fix it'
that is what i think

(oh yea so to conclude dont drink pepsi without any food in your system)

Hmm... well, I think this is where I might differ in a lot of people in the way they view Inuyasha and his emotions. I don't view his phsycally being a hanyou as affecting his emotional state at all. The fact he's a hanyou meant he was treated like dirt - probably grew up with everyone telling him that he was that and there wasn't really a time in his life where someone didn't want to kill him because he was born half-human, half-youkai. So like any person, he thought he had to live his life fighting everything that could hurt him. Physically and emotionally.

The one time he let his guard down and let himself fall in love, he got betrayed big-time.

Anyhow. The way I feel is that I don't see him physically being part youkai having any bearing whatsoever on his emotions. He has a human heart and a human spirit. In fact, he's got a human body. What makes him different is his magical powers. But when they're taken away, what does he beome?

A taco!

No wait... not that.

He becomes a pure human boy. But does he seem to feel, think, or behave any differently as a pure human? Not from what I can tell. smile.gif He's as tempermental as a pure human as he is a hanyou, regardless of how "nice" he was to Kagome the first night she saw him as a human.

Anyhow. My point is (yeah, finally getting to it...) that it's not that he doesn't understand human feelings. I think he's got human feelings all the way. (I also think the same of Sesshoumaru, in a way, but that's another topic...) He just doesn't like dealing with those emotions that make him feel all mushy and weak. He's willing to show that he cares for Kagome enough so that he'd die for her. He tells his friends all the time that they ain't gonna die while he's around. Over time, though, his willingness to show affection to Kagome has grown. While he still can't just come out and say "I love you," like everyone says, his actions are obvious. Even some of the more subtle things are there. The way he'll hold her. The way he'll tell her he's sorry he's made her worry. The way protecting her is second-nature to him now.

KAGOME: Thank you, for before...
INUYASHA: What...?
KAGOME: You saved me.
INUYASHA: Well, of COURSE I'd do that.

Yknow... little things like that. happy.gif I kinda think one of the sweetest endings WOULD be one that cemented their relationship with a confession of love somehow. Just to make things spoken when they're already implied. We'll just haveta wait and see if those two finally get the words out. Heh-heh. happy.gif
inu&fma88fan
its kind of a obvious love between them but i really think all this i won't talk to you anymore...sit...and comes back and apologies rutine...but its cute when inuyasha goes after her.

but there is kikyo...i don't know how this forum thinks but inuyasha does show great affection to her if she is around...if she is around, sometimes kagome is second rate...
pengin9
well we really havent seen kikiyou for a bit but i think that most of the recent times inuyasha has only left to go see if she is still ok. and he leave kagome in a safe place.

so yea he does have some wierd emotions but i think in the end he is coming more twards the kagome side of the equation.

remember that in inuyasha's mind the kikiyou/inuyasha relationship hasnt been gone that long. i know that it took me several months to get over my Girlfriend when we broke up; and if some evil guy was attacking her i would go see if she was Ok, as i still care for her health etc. if you have had a long serious relationship you pprobly can relate

so he still cares for kikiyou but i think he loves kagome. so if you think of it like that his actions really dont look that odd.

but yea he doesnt really understnad kagomes emotions sometimes. but then many guys dont, even if they try. because girls are very hard to understand and their emtions are well... confusing biggrin.gif

I'm pretty sure it's been that way for a while now.

At first, he probably thought his feelings for Kagome were no different than they had been with his first love, Kikyou. That's why he tossed Kagome through the well after the fight with Sesshoumaru. He's always been fine without seeing Kikyou for months at a time as long as he thinks she's okay somewhere.

We know that he thinks about Kikyou and feels guilty and cares about her well-being, but we've never seen that he misses her so much that he can't function and enjoy life without her there. But with Kagome gone, that's just how it was. Suddenly, he became so depressed that he couldn't find the will to fight. It surprised him. He realized then that he needed Kagome in a way he never thought he would.

I think that, more than anything, makes all the difference between his relationships with the two.

I wonder...what if Kagome wasn't beside him, but Kikyou, by whatever weird reason, was there beside him? Would he still not be able to 'function normally'? I mean Kagome would be gone, but there'd be Kikyou. Would she be enough to "replace" Kagome...?

>_> But then again, I can't imagine him being fine without Kagome, even if Kikyou was there...so I just answered my own question there u_U

Well, if you still want our opinions... wink.gif

I think he'd be able to function normally, having a purpose in life. For a while, at least. But I don't know if he'd be happy or feel relaxed at all like he has been. He could resort back to his old attitude, or just become withdrawn. That's just if Kagome left him. If Kagome actually died, he might just go insane. unsure.gif

Oh, and to pengin9; I was talking about episode 19-21, I believe.
