Like when he was first rough on Sango about her families death.....He just doesnt know how humans deal with their feelings, anger or whatever it may be.
Hmm... well, I think this is where I might differ in a lot of people in the way they view Inuyasha and his emotions. I don't view his phsycally being a hanyou as affecting his emotional state at all. The fact he's a hanyou meant he was treated like dirt - probably grew up with everyone telling him that he was that and there wasn't really a time in his life where someone didn't want to kill him because he was born half-human, half-youkai. So like any person, he thought he had to live his life fighting everything that could hurt him. Physically and emotionally.
The one time he let his guard down and let himself fall in love, he got betrayed big-time.
Anyhow. The way I feel is that I don't see him physically being part youkai having any bearing whatsoever on his emotions. He has a human heart and a human spirit. In fact, he's got a human body. What makes him different is his magical powers. But when they're taken away, what does he beome?
A taco!
No wait... not that.
He becomes a pure human boy. But does he seem to feel, think, or behave any differently as a pure human? Not from what I can tell.

He's as tempermental as a pure human as he is a hanyou, regardless of how "nice" he was to Kagome the first night she saw him as a human.
Anyhow. My point is (yeah, finally getting to it...) that it's not that he doesn't understand
human feelings. I think he's got human feelings all the way. (I also think the same of Sesshoumaru, in a way, but that's another topic...) He just doesn't like dealing with those emotions that make him feel all mushy and weak. He's willing to show that he cares for Kagome enough so that he'd die for her. He tells his friends all the time that they ain't gonna die while he's around. Over time, though, his willingness to show affection to Kagome has grown. While he still can't just come out and say "I love you," like everyone says, his actions are obvious. Even some of the more subtle things are there. The way he'll hold her. The way he'll tell her he's sorry he's made her worry. The way protecting her is second-nature to him now.
KAGOME: Thank you, for before...
INUYASHA: What...?
KAGOME: You saved me.
INUYASHA: Well, of COURSE I'd do that.Yknow... little things like that.

I kinda think one of the sweetest endings WOULD be one that cemented their relationship with a confession of love somehow. Just to make things spoken when they're already implied. We'll just haveta wait and see if those two finally get the words out. Heh-heh.
