Full Version: Anyone Tried Out The Inuyasha Ps2 Game Yet?
#Animeforever > Animeforever Closed Projects > Inuyasha
Sandrock
As the topic suggests, I'm still waiting for my copy to show up, but apparently UPS doesn't deliver to Canada on weekends or something, and I can't even track it to find out where it is.

I'm kinda highly anticipating it, even though I know anime-based games in general aren't all that great. But it's an Inuyasha game, and that should be enough, hm? happy.gif

So, has anyone gotten their hands on a copy yet, and if so, any first impressions?
Spectrum
Kuro has it, so since she's not here right now I'll just shamelessly post the link to the review at her site.

Apparently, it's staggeringly adorable. And it looks like lots of fun, too.

... ::would just about kill for a Japanese PS2 right now:: XD
jms011
does anyone know when the game will have english subs and be available in the US?
Sandrock
Well, it finally arrived in the mail today, though it's been a fairly busy day for me, so I haven't managed to get that far into it. My initial reaction so far's been that it's actually quite good for a game based on an anime title - the chibi characters are priceless (and pretty well modelled), and most of the dialogue sequences have nice, large animated characters.

Better yet, the dialogue so far's been fairly simple, so I've managed to understand nearly everything that's been said. Nice pacing so far, and even a little bit of humour thrown in already. And, unlike Kagome's first reaction to Inuyasha, the game's original character (I chose the guy) nearly had a heart attack upon seeing our poor hanyou. happy.gif

I might even venture to say it's possibly the best Inuyasha game to date... definitely better than the last RPG outing on the PS1.
jms011
are there english subtitles for the game? anyone know? sandrock?
Sandrock
The Japanese version doesn't have English subtitles unfortunately, so you'll need to know some Japanese to get about in the game. The good news is that so far most of the dialogue has been fairly simple, so you don't need to be -very- fluent to get most of what's going on... plus if you're fairly familiar with RPGs, you'll be fine with the navigation and stuff like that.

A quick follow-up now that I've managed to get a little further into the game - it's a fairly traditional turn-based RPG -you hit, the enemy hits, until someone dies. Inuyasha's stats are fairly powered down, probably to make it 'fairer' in the game (his attack, is only three times Kagome's, and most of his other stats are only slightly higher than hers, and she's second in terms of character abilities, followed by Shippou and the original character). He has Tessaiga with him, but doesn't have any of his skills (none of them do), though you do learn sankon tessou (the 'iron reaver' attack for you dubbies happy.gif) after the first battle.

Lots of dialogue throughout the game so far, with lots of nice bits - and there's quite a bit of talking (mostly Inuyasha, it seems) going on during the battles as well... I think each character has a 'victory' phrase after a successful battle as well, but I've only seen Inuyasha's so far, which roughly translates as 'Something like that isn't even worth considering an opponent!'
Kuro
Funny how they make Inuyasha use "kisamara" in battle. He almost never uses that word. Unless I'm hearing it wrong, but I'm pretty sure I heard it right. happy.gif;;

I spent a good friggen HALF HOUR just wandering through the village this evening talking to villager after villager, since I couldn't seem to find the last one to talk to. I hate when that happens. "RAAAAAH! Who'm I missing!!"

Anyhow, yep, it's actually been pretty fun so far. For some reason, though, I had to turn off the Inuyasha music just for one battle and turn on the Final Fantasy battle music, just for kicks.

DUN Da DUN da DUN DA DUN DA!

And to concur with Sandrock, you kinda do need to know at least minimal Japanese (sometimes they give you hints on where to go and what to do), to get around. But so far, the spoken dialogue has been understandable (and you can read the Japanese if they're going too fast). The written dialogue is a little more difficult if you don't read kanji.

I've had the game for a week but had absolutely no time to play, so I've only gotten as far as Akebi Village, which is only, like, the third or fourth part of the story, and where you get the first few battles. Time to update the game journal with screens. XD

IPB Image

Isn't this the cutest thing? happy.gif;;
Sandrock
Kuro: Heh, I just sent you an email about some stuff regarding the game. ^^;

I don't know why, but the battle mode music reminds me strongly of a Sega RPG on the old DC (and ported to the GameCube) called Skies of Arcadia... or Eternal Arcadia for those of you who played the Japanese version.

I haven't gotten much further either - having just completed the shrine 'dungeon' immediately after Akebi Village... I did get quite a laugh after encountering my first Oboeneko (a 'memory cat' save point) though XD

I have to agree with Kuro too - the battles are just... cute. There's just something about chibis whacking the heck out of youkai that's strangely addictive. cool.gif

Just curious though whether the male and female character storylines are identical... the guy seems to be generally afraid of everything (when he first encountered Inuyasha, he comments about Inuyasha's eyes and fangs and basically said 'kowai yo'...)

And at Akebi Village, after the player character learns how to use his/her shikigami powers, and after the old woman asked him/her to test his/her powers out on that mid-sized rock in the clearing, how did Inuyasha and Kagome react to the female character? For the male character, Kagome said something like 'Splitting such a big rock in two... sugoi yo!' and Inuyasha (did I detect a hint of annoyance over Kagome's reaction there? wink.gif) basically sneers and said, "I could've done that."

Wondering whether it's the same on both sides. :3

Anyway - final note: while translating the manual (http://pachome1.pacific.net.sg/~elsydeon/inuyasha/inuyasha-juso_no_kamen.txt), I came across something priceless. Apparently, your characters can learn cooperative attacks, and one of the listed possible attacks in the manual is:

QUOTE
Miroku + Sango: Miroku's "affection" (the original word used is 'raburabu action', or love-love action. I think we know what this is happy.gif) enrages Sango and increases her attack power, making Hiraikotsu even more powerful.

laugh.gif
Moonbeamdanser
ROFL! Man, I gotta see that. cool.gif

I mean, I totally love making him grab her butt in the PSX fighting game. XD

aww,inu as a chibi!if i had photoshop,id show you what would happen if miroku got close.to picture it:give inu brown hair, brown eyes, turn him into a girl, now give him a giant skillet.when miroku gets close, the cara takes said skillet and makes miroku turn into a giant pancake.summarized:lana-yasha+skillet+miroku=miroku geting hit over the head with her skillet.

Hehe. Ah, thank you, Sandrock! happy.gif I was starting to write out a manual translation but I only got as far as the introduction. That's definitely going to help. biggrin.gif

I'll send you a reply to the email in a little bit, too.

Good gawd, YES. The battles are downright ADOREABLE!!!1 Mwahaha. It's so funny when it's their real voices coming from these chibified characters. Inuyasha, especially for me. He's, like, cussing and spouting general macho-guy anime expletives and he's a CHIBI! *falls over* I was totally giddy when I got his kaze no kizu, too. Went back to battle a few times just to whack the heck out of more youkai with it. And then I realized, "duh, I'm running out of power."

Hmm... I wonder if you've found out anything about this: is there anything other than time in battle that restores ki? I'm so used to Final Fantasy games where you can use ethers to restore your magic points, and my FF-ed brain keeps thinking those two are similar, even though they actually aren't. XD Anyhow, just wondering if you've found anything that restores the ki power.

I was playing the game last night right up until I could go and battle the youkai after Akebi. A bear, was it? I can't remember. So I think I'm one dungeon before ya.

So far it sounds like the storylines are pretty identical. The girl ends up showing her shikigami powers to an old man at the lake, however. She's pretty much like the guy, though, in that she seems to be afraid of everything. XD Everything reeks of kowaii-ness. Haha. And yep, when she makes the rock disappear, I think Kagome and Inuyasha say the same to her.

The one thing I noticed, though... I don't remember if the girl comments on Inuyasha's eyes, but she DOES comment on his ears. She did notice his fangs, but the first thing she says about him. "Dog... ears...?" XD Maybe it's a girl thing. Did the boy comment on his ears at all?

Thanks for the manual translation, Sandrock! happy.gif

He's a little chibi gangsta, that's what he is. ^^;

Hm... items to restore ki points? I haven't seen anything like that in either the shops in Kaede's village or Akebi village - I wouldn't rule it out later on though. There seem to be quite a variety of items to heal 'tairyoku'/HP though. And the battle immediately after Akebi was against a giant spider, I believe.

And yeah, the guy did mention Inuyasha's ears as well... just after he regains consciousness after being accosted by that first youkai he met, and he woke up to see Inuyasha staring at him from above. Said something like 'Ah, a person's voice! *opens eyes* Dog... ears?'. Then he freaks out.

But in that later bit when he said 'kowai yo', it -might- have been ears and fangs, rather than eyes and fangs. Memory fuzzy.

Anyway, just finished a couple more hours in the game. I've encountered my first interval event, where I had to build up relationships. Figured out what it's all about, kind of. You get to choose who you want to pair up with, apparently... so for example, I chose to pair up with Inuyasha, and what ensued was a little scene where Takashi (the name I gave my character) asked Inuyasha to help him sniff out a few medicinal herbs, and they go off in search of the stuff. A rather weird scene follows, but I won't detail it. Meanwhile, because I didn't choose Shippou and Kagome, they paired up to go do stuff together.

At the end of the interval event, there was a notice about Inuyasha and Takashi's relationship improving, but no skills developed.

However, later after a battle when Takashi gained a new Shikigami skill, he also learned a cooperative skill with... Shippou. sleep.gif So I guess they were hitting it off with each other behind the scenes or something. I'm guessing this means they need to build up their relationships in the interval events, and as they gain the necessary individual skills, cooperative skills that used those indiv. skills will appear... or that cooperative skills just happen to appear when they level, IF they have enough relationship points. I'll figure it out sooner or later. smiley_X(.gif

Interesting note though: cooperative skills come with a flashy anime movie sequence of the two characters attacking. cool.gif

Inuyasha's learned Bakuryuuha (which is quite true to it's anime roots in terms of how it works - Inuyasha charges up but doesn't do anything until an enemy attacks him with an energy attack... I think, since nothing of the sort happened when I tried to charge up Bakuryuuha...)

Also, some skill involving the hinezumi robe.

Final note: Everytime Kagome makes a good hit, Takashi loudly praises her, AND everytime Inuyasha misses an attack, he makes a snide remark. Looks like someone has a bit of a deathwish. laugh.gif

Anyway, just a quick note to share that I've finally found an item that restores 'ki' points - 御神木の<?>... there's a fifth kanji but the resolution on my TV makes it difficult to read, because it's a fairly complex word @_@... just happened to pick it up while it was lying about in one of the dungeons (the hidden cave in the fourth village you encounter, the one where you have to go in by yourself after meeting a key supporting character from the series).

Finally successfully used Bakuryuuha against Kagura too, and managed to get the rather hilarious Miroku/Sango combination attack, which is all that I expected it to be. XD
Kuro
Oh! OH OH OH! Sandrock!

Since you're playing as the boy, I have to ask you... what does Miroku do when you first meet him? XD Because when I met up with Sango and Miroku, he's EXACTLY as you'd expect he'd be when you play as the girl.

Needless to say, I totally fell out of my chair and my fangirlish mind went scrambling for the controls, wishing there was an option where you could actulaly answer him. wink.gif

I finally got my first Chibiryuuha against Kagura as well. Well, more correctly, against her shikabane. Which also made my head spin. biggrin.gif "YES!" was my reaction.

Ah, and thanks for the tip about the ki-restorer. I'll have to keep an eye out for that since I don't think I'm at that point yet. I'm probably, again, right before you.

Heh... looks like we've encountered one major difference. Miroku... didn't do anything much. If memory serves, they exchanged a few polite words after Kagome introduced him, and that's about it. :3

Chibiryuuha... that's a very suitable term. laugh.gif

I'm interested to see what Miroku will do with the girl character when they pair up for the interval events. I've already paired him up with the guy... wasn't entirely paying attention, but it seems like they went for a walk and had a chat about Miroku being a monk, and why he keeps on chasing after girls. I might be wrong, but Miroku finishes the scene by saying something like he wants his child to be a girl, because he 'doesn't like boys'. huh.gif I'm going to have to watch that scene again in the Omake section to confirm that. :3

Another combination attack: Inuyasha and Shippou, which happened right after I paired up Miroku and the main character at the fourth village... for some reason, that caused Inuyasha and Shippou to pair up and go have a scene of their own, and Kagome/Sango go off for a stroll themselves.
Kuro
The pair scenes are actually beginning to be a really fun part of the game for me. happy.gif

Let's see... I chose Miroku the second time on my journey, and basically he hit a little on Kuro (I named my character after my screenname) but then he explained why he keeps asking that of every person. Inuyasha and Kagome pair up to go and... hang out. Sango and Shippou go off to collect donburi.

Then I went back and replayed that part and picked Inuyasha again. I wonder if he would have been different if I hadn't picked him the first time, but he seemed much more "friendly" to Kuro this time around. Kuro asked him a little bit about his youkai blood and he didn't seem all that upset to talk about it.

Miroku and Kagome went off for a walk, and Shippou and Sango went off on their way. There was a cute scene between Mrioku and Kagome that has to do with Sango.

...I don't think Sango likes it when Miroku keeps flirting with... "me." XD

Inuyasha seems fairly friendly with Takashi too(somehow, it seemed strange to name him Sandrock ^^wink.gif... much more than you'd expect him to be. I haven't seen this particular scene though.

QUOTE

Funny you should mention that, because it seems that Takashi is under this impression that Sango doesn't like him very much for some reason or another, though it does clear up a bit after the fourth village.
Sandrock
I don't know if this counts as a double post, but if it does... gomen. :3

Just wanted to add... boku no Inuyasha wa saikou da! XD

Up to now, I was kind of wondering why the Chibi no Kizu (gotta love Kuro's term for it :3) in the game was fairly pathetic... then I received the upgrade just a while ago. happy.gif Suffice to say chibi Inuyasha goes a little trigger-happy, resulting in a cute, yet deadly attack. :3

Unfortunately, I don't have the means to take screenshots or make movies off the PS2, so you'll have to wait for Kuro's update.

Sandrock, I luff ewe! happy.gif I just got Chibi no Kizu upgraded this morning, too. I just haven't gotten a chance to use it yet!! AAAAAAHHHHH!!

Gah! And I've totally been falling over myself with Inuyasha-age today. I also spent even MORE time with the boy, and KURO ASKS HIM TO SHOW HER HIS SWORD!! AND HE DOES!!

The only sad thing is that it uses up 200 ki points, which means we can't see it all that often smiley_cry.gif Pity... such a cute looking attack. And he really goes all out with his 'kaze no kizu' yell this time, unlike the very brief utterance he makes for the first level chibi no kizu :3

(Hm... did I really wander about building up his ki points so I could see it again immediately after the first? I wonder rolleyes.gif)

She's a bold one, isn't she? XD What would Kagome think? :3

I need to make Takashi spend more time with him. I've been too egalitarian so far, making him do the rounds with all of them. All that's left is Sango and I'll have completed one round, then it's back to Inu-kun. I wonder if there's a way to trigger more interval events, or if they're all preset.

I might be wrong, but Miroku finishes the scene by saying something like he wants his child to be a girl, because he 'doesn't like boys'. huh.gif

I watched the scene again to be sure. Seems like Takashi was asking why Miroku seemed so worldly (he quite frankly asked Miroku why he kept on grabbing a specific anatomical region of every girl they encounter) when he was a monk with such powerful houriki. Miroku gives a lengthy explanation apparently rationalising his behaviour to appear that it isn't motivated by baser desires, but when Takashi asked him right at the end 'why he only did it to girls then', his answer was 'because I don't like boys.' ^^; Miroku's a bad liar.

Anyway, more combination attacks between Takashi and Sango, and Kagome and Shippou. The upgraded chibi no kizu still kicks ***.

Hm... I wonder if we'll get a chance to see chibi human and 'berserk/youkai' Inuyasha... :3

Hey, Sandykun, you're kind of dividing most of your time between characters, no? I kind of made it so that I'm only spending time with Inuyasha on this round. Hehehe. Kuro is totally sucking up to him. And he seems to rather like it. XD He's totally cocky with her, though. And actually, he's kind of sweet to her. "Let's go take a walk. I'm going to go work out." Hehe. He's MY hanyou, dammit! MINE!

Although it seems to be paying off. I have the best relationship with him, resulting in two attacks already. So I've learned to juice up his Kaze no Kizu with Shikigami-age... thus giving him the "Kuro no Kizu," as I've called it in this game. Mwahaha.

Miroku and Sango got their Raburabu skill, and Miroku and Kagome (who have been stuck together, since I've been stealing Inuyasha) got a skill as well. I'm just totally fuzzing up their canon relationships, aren't I? Heehee.

And OMG, yes. I FINALLY got to use the Chibi No Kizu upgrade. And I just love the triggerhappy Inu.

"KAZE noooOoO... KIZUUUUUUUUU!" *WHAM WHAM.... WHAM!*

And I do wonder about the chibi human Inu and youkai Inu, too. Heh-heh. And now it's off to go and level up some more and maybe get more triggerhappy Inu. Woohoo!

Yup. happy.gif Just completed one round with all the characters, so it's back to Inuyasha once we get another break... which is going to be a while, since I'm still stuck in this massive castle trying to find some idiot humans hiding themselves from youkai. XD

Saw it at your site this morning happy.gif. Although I've only let Takashi spend one interval with him, they finally learned a combination skill, though it's nowhere near as nice as that one... Takashi basically charges up the same shikigami power animation used for his Shippou combination, then it envelops Tessaiga's blade and Inuyasha slices the enemy with it.

Seems like the only way I can get Inuyasha and Kagome together is to choose Shippou :/

Bunch of new combination skills. Takashi and Sango, Sango and Kagome (Sango flings poison powder and Kagome fires an arrow through it), Inuyasha and Miroku (Inuyasha leads a charge with Miroku not far behind, both hit the enemy), Kagome and Shippou. Oh, and a second Miroku-Sango attack, though I haven't seen it yet.

QUOTE
And OMG, yes. I FINALLY got to use the Chibi No Kizu upgrade. And I just love the triggerhappy Inu.

Looks like Inuyasha specialises in the insane attacks. Just got another regular skill (at level 21 or 22, I think) where he swings wildly with Tessaiga... though you have to see it to know what I mean. ^^;

By the way, have you discovered how to trigger the Mysterious Garden (in Kaede's village) events? According to the omake section, there are sequences there similar to the ones in the intervals, I presume. The April edition of Animedia showed some screens from the Mysterious Garden scenes in the Games section, but I haven't scrutinised the text close enough to see if it says anything there on how to trigger it... just showed Inuyasha smashing something to pieces with his hand while the guy character looks on with a sweatdrop and Shippou looking surprised, and another with Shippou looking like he's eaten too much.

EDIT: Gah. This dungeon is most annoying. XD So darn huge, and every once in a while, I'll come across a locked door and Takashi will make an annoying comment about how they can't go past because they don't have a key, and all I can think is when has a door (or a wall, for that matter) ever been able to stop Inuyasha? XD Grah.
Sandrock
Quite a bit has happened since the last time I posted. :3

I finally completed that very lengthy dungeon only to come to a fairly anticlimactic boss situation. You'll know what I mean when you get to it. sleep.gif

Of course, that leads to a completely new fetch quest, plus Takashi finds himself learning another convenient skill. Poor Inuyasha - first, he gets to play second fiddle to a human, then he gets stopped by locked doors... now, he seems to have lost his ability to jump... when we encounter a bunch of cliffs, the party apparently had to rely on Shippou's balloon-form to get them up. ^^;

But I have to say... he's learned a Bakuryuuha upgrade. :3 Doesn't work anything like the first one, but... very impressive @_@

Bunch of new combination skills, including a fairly amusing Miroku/Kagome combo, though not as 'amusing' as the 'raburabu action' of the first Miroku/Sango combination. I'm guessing a certain houshi values his limbs sufficiently intact. :3

To make things worse, they make me go through that annoying dungeon level again. XD

But this will probably grab the interest of some... in the dungeon for the second time, Takashi for some reason gets separated from Inuyasha and bunch, and teams up with...

QUOTE("game spoiler")
chibi Sesshou-niichan! He just happened to be in the area killing stuff, see? But for some reason, he doesn't seem to know his way around the place (I think...), and Jaken enlists the help of Takashi. Consider me surprised. I wasn't expecting to actually -have- Sesshoumaru in my party, or that the ever-so-superior Sesshie would even deign a human boy worthy of fighting beside him.

Naturally, Sesshie has disgustingly high stats... XD

It's a temporary thing, though, and soon, Takashi's back on track.

Oh, and I encountered my first optional world map event - a festival at Tsuzumi Village (the one with the big taiko drum). Basically, involving a contest of some sort with everyone in the team taking turns to play the taiko drum while Takashi gives them suggestions. The kanji options are giving me trouble, so I think I've failed a couple of times XD Gonna have to reset and play it again to see if there's anything worth it.

Oh well. :3

I did get that impression, but Inuyasha isn't particularly in-character either. For one thing, he smiles too much. :3

Anyway, finally figured out that silly taiko-beating competition, and won, for my efforts, something to plant in the garden at Kaede's village. sleep.gif The commands ended up fairly simple after all... among other things, I had to tell Shippou to jump higher when banging on the drum (since he's such a chibi), and Inuyasha to stop banging so hard on the drum (that hanyou strength was doing nasty things to it). XD

Also met another key supporting character who pops up every once in a while in the series, though not in playable format. And a second combination skill between Inuyasha/Takashi that looks like a slightly extended (and different) version of the one currently up on Kuro's website.

Takashi also embarasses Inuyasha by asking about his relationship with Kagome in an interval event. Typical :3
Sandrock
Looks like I'm the only one still posting in this thread T_T.

Anyway, just to round up - I've answered my question above regarding the Mysterious Garden events - apparently, it's dependent on the combination of seed and fertiliser that you use... if you hit the right combo, the item you grow becomes the focus of an event XD. The one I ended up with had Kagome looking at the stars at night and getting dreamy-eyed because she sees the stars forming a pattern that looks like Inu-kun. Oh well. :3

Gah! I'd post more except that I haven't had time at ALL to play this week, so I haven't gotten much further into the game! happy.gif You're way ahead of me now. *LOL* But I'm determined to at least get to Sesshoumaru by tomorrow. HEeheehee. happy.gif

*patpats Kuro* Naruhodo... :3 Well, things are starting to get busy for me too right around now (that, plus I find myself having to spread my free time between the game -and- watching Full Moon wo Sagashite XD), so I'm sure you'll catch up in due course. happy.gif
Kuro
And now that Sandy-kun has already BEAT the game... XD

Wait wait, don't spoil it for me yet, I think I've still got a bit to go!! How long was your final time, Sandy? Right now I'm rackign up about 32 hours and I just met Rin. happy.gif

Thus far, I've managed to have unlocked all three Inuyasha combo animations with my character, one more with Kagome, and I don't think Sango likes me, becuase I've learned nothing with her at all. XD

That and apparently Inuyasha likes me enough that he'll sleep with me. NOT IN THAT SENSE!! There's a cute little scene where he's a nemui Inu, and suggests getting some rest off on the side of the path. So he falls asleep with you, except YOU end up decorating his face with marker. o_O!

The fact he doesn't kill you for that should mean he likes you enough, hm? XD

And the upgraded Bakuryuuha... HELLYEAH!! IT IS T3H ROXX0R!!!

I was wondering whether you got my message :3

I'll have to double-check, but I think I hit about... 37-39 hours total. Right now, I'm torn between playing the game again with the male character to see if I can add on to all the scenes I missed, or starting from scratch with the female.

Oh, and there -is- a reason why the girl character gets an old man teaching her the shikigami skills and the boy characters gets an old woman.

That 'smells like a wet inu' scene on your games page... what is that? An interval event? One of the '?' on the world map events? The male character didn't get anything remotely like that. I don't even recognise where that is. Let me know, onegai?

Takashi and Inuyasha ended up only getting two of their three combinations in my game. sad.gif

A sleepy Inu... again, another scene I never encountered... either this game put all the good stuff on the female character's side, or I didn't make Takashi spend enough time with the hanyou XD

I think I only did two of the "?" events on the map. One was the tyco drums. Actually, I can't remember if that was a "?" or something else. The villagers won. XD

As for the smelly wet Inu... XD That's a character interaction. I think it's either the fourth or fifth interaction. Basically Kuro is just saying that she needs a bath. Inuyasha says, "Yeah, I think I do, too." (or something like that. I should watch the scene again.) I can't remember WHY he got in the water... I think it was an accident. First it's a "Don't you be peeking at me!" scene, and then the screen shows a wet, shirtless Inu, to which Kuro starts screaming, "AAHH! YOU IDIOT! PERVERT! GO AWAY!" And Inuyasha is just clueless. XD

Speaking of... in case anyone is wondering, Sandy-kun and I have been comparing notes. The boy and the girl apparently DO get a few different scenarios. And the character interactions do affect a few things. happy.gif

All in all... well, I had a blast with it!! Replaying it again this weekend to see what else I can unlock. Heh-heh-heh... biggrin.gif

This has nothing to do with anything, but... Kuro, I forgot how hilarious your chapter comment for 356 was. XD

heh...this basically has been the sandrock/kuro show as they r the only ones that have bought the japanese game my experience with such....was dl the naraku board game thingey for GBA....wow, a board game...i never expected. Not to mention i had no idea what the heck was going on....ha, i still have the game tho. maybe someday.... Anyway, ah....this game will be a MUST for me when i get it....They'd just better not 'pull an ffx' /me shivers recalling the voices....original japanese is a MUST...the inu dub voices would be nice...not holding my breath...but just so they sub and retain the original voices. I'm no rpg'er...hack is really the first i've played, barring the old interplay LOTR games (sigh, they never DID do ROTK) but i think this inu game and the upcoming fma rpg will be a must for me ^^ ah....full moon....one of the few anime i cried in....till just yesterday with the 2nd to last ep of kanon...egads...so sad.
