In episode 100, when Miroku remembers when he was a child, he hasn't got any Kazaana on his palm..

If you see any other mistakes, post here blink.gif
Bankotsu
maybe the kazana wont show up until the father is dead
Sir Lucius
Yeah, it just hasn't opened up yet.

It starts out as a pinprick and then gorws larger every year until it's too big for his hand and sucks in his whole body.

There are a lot of mistakes, even though we don't know yet,
because everything hasn't been revealed yet in IY.
We have other topics about other "mistakes"...
Yet I havn't found a manga mistake... but of course anime mistakes.
We really don't know yet if the mistakes we see are mistakes or not.
Did anyone get what I just said?
Dinkai
No, you were just asking for a once sentence reply there rolleyes.gif

There's a hilarious loop-hole someone pointed out in this little interview thingy, and Our Author and Hero didn't really have an answer:

Question: So if Tenseiga is a healing sword, why doesn't Sesshoumaru just use it get himself a new arm?

Rumiko Takahashi: Well, let me think...Tessaiga cut off his arm, so...well, even though he has Tenseiga...gee, wouldn't that just be a little too simple of a solution? Yes?

Gee, sounds like somebody wrote herself into a corner there ^_~

(Not that I'm gonna disagree with her. To borrow a line from Space Ghost, "She's the only one who gets to make his shit up." Personally, I kinda like Sesshou without his arm...it's cute. You know, in that "he's gonna look really ridiculous when he transforms into a three-legged dog" sort of cute happy.gif)
Ethereality
I always seem to forget that Sessh only has one arm, due to the fact that his Kimono sleeve is so damn long.
Patrioil
I also like that he only has one arm,
and that he doesn't seem to be bothered by it.
But I notice that they often draw his arm in doujinshis'.
That's pretty irritating, you know.
But I feel sorry for him,
cus he can only hold Toukujin with one arm,
while IY can hold Tetsusaiga with two arms (which is much better).

HAHAHA! I want to see that so bad now! I can just picture the final battle with Naraku, and Sesshoumaru transforms, forgetting momentarily his lack of an arm, so his first move is to fall over until he readjusts his balance, hahahaha. Not that he'd actually do that, I think he's too suave, but it's a fun mental image. Mean snarling to confused "oh shit, that's right, I'm missing an appendage".

Do you think he'd even bother transforming now, or do you think he'd do more damage in his human form?
bakadeshi
It looked like he might have been ready to transform at one point during the Cat arc, but fortunately for him (and unfortunately for three legged dog fans) Tenseiga intervened. I seriously doubt we'll ever see him transformed again, to be honest.

Speaking of transforming, what about Kouga? Will we EVER get to see him as a wolf? Inquiring minds want to know...
morpherex
Bankotsu: "I feel like I've been hit by a truck".
And he knew about a truck how?
Bullet
lol im sure he didnt say that in jap

Why would Sesshomaru want to transform anyway? Is he supposed to be more powerful when he's in doggy mode? If his doggy form got cut up by Inuyasha when Inuyasha didn't even know how to use Tenseiga to its fullest, it can't be THAT powerful...
Patrioil
I think Sesshoumaru-sama is a little more... dangerous,
or something, when he's in his demon dog form.
Like when Inuyasha transforms to that killing machine.
But I love seing Sesshoumaru-sama's eyes turn all lurid!
I just loved when he was about to transform in Hyounekozoku. tongue.gif

About Kouga. Maybe he's staying in his human form due to Kagome.
And what about Shippou? His father looked like a real fox...
Bificommander
Yeah, I agree that his dog-transformation is weaker. It already was when he still had both arms, since he was much slower, and couldn't dodge Inu Yasha anymore. And now it's worthless, since he won't be able to keep his balance anymore. Also, he wouldn't be able to use his sword, which is another big disadvantage. And finally, he's much cooler in this form happy.gif
I also thought about using tenseiga to regrow his arm. The best my friend could think of was that tenseiga can only ressurect. Which could be true. But I don't know. Can tenseiga heal injuries? It might explain whyit can't kill at all. The blade makes a wound, but it's power heals that wound instantly. If that's true, he might get his arm back.... perhaps by making small slices, thus regenerating his arm bit by bit.
And yeah, I noticed that Truck-transalation too. Wonder what it is in Jap.
Patrioil
Tenseiga protected Sesshoumaru-sama once.
But I don't beleive it can heal injuries.
When Sesshoumaru-sama revives someone,
he kills the "soul bearers" (or whatever) with Tenseiga,
those little creatures... who looks disgusting...

Btw, kono Patrioil is so happy right now. tongue.gif
She just got her Inuyasha vol 1 in japanese!
Woohoo! I'm improving my japanese while having fun...

Bankotsu:  "I feel like I've been hit by a truck".
And he knew about a truck how?

*sigh*

No, chalk that one up to human error. How that particular line got past three separate editors and at least one encoder, I'll never know. All I can say is, never try to re-construct a script from scratch late at night while inebriated. happy.gif;;;
Patrioil
I like those kind of lines. Makes me smile.
And this particular one reminded my of Roxette.
"I want you so bad I'm pushing my luck,
it feels like being hit by a truck."
I think the song was "The Center of The Heart".
Sir Lucius
It was OBVIOUSLY in reference to a hand truck or wagon. ;P
Suikotsu
huh.gif My stupid imagination about that truck:
When Bankotsu go to somewhere, he secretly go to Kagome's world biggrin.gif
Patrioil
Can somebody with a brain answer this one for me?
'Cus obviously... I'm stupid. dry.gif yeah yeah...

Yesterday before I went to sleep,
I though about Inuyasha when he turns youkai.
That tree said that if Inuyasha transformed too many times
he would become a killer machine permanently.
But he also said that he's still only a hanyou. right?
But if I'm not mistaken IY becomes human the first day of the month,
so wouldn't the youkai blood go back when he turns human?
Or have I missed something here...? Correct me, people.
Spectrum
Well, maybe it would (if he hadn't already fought himself to death by the night of the new moon). But then again, when Inuyasha supposedly turns human, he's not literally turning human... that night is just described as "a time when his youkai blood wanes." He still has his demon blood, it's just kind of powered down for the night or something. So since his father's daiyoukai blood is still there, who's to say he couldn't maintain his youkai transformation even on the first night? He might actually be able to... I suppose it all depends on how powerful the transformation is. (Did that even make any sense? huh.gif )

Anyway, don't worry, it's not a dumb question. happy.gif
Houshi_Sama
In ep 103, after Jakotsu gets shot in the shoulder, the wound magically disappears a couple minutes afterwards...
JimmyV
I figured what the tree meant was that while he might have the power of a demon he's still in the body of a half-breed. So he'd end up like an over clocked CPU and just completely burn himself out eventually or destroy himself fighting as he gets more and more injured.

Sorry if this is a little late in the forum it's just that i'm brand-new to the forums and I just read that "loop-hole" thingy and I wanted to respond to it. With a sensible answer. Hopefully.

Okay. Well, I've seen this question be asked multiple times before and I have figured it out. Tenseiga kills the demon thingies that take people's bodies into the underworld. Or something like that. Anyway, it kills those little creatures(we've seen it do it before with Jyaken) and so I have concluded that the arm is not "dead," instead it is just taken off his body. An arm is not a living thing, therefore it does not have those little creatures to take it into the underworld or whatever, and therefore it cannot be "healed" and put back onto Sesshoumaru. It's a logical explanation, isn't it? Tell me if it doesn't make sense.

Exacly! This is my point too!
I think I mentioned it before actually.
Have we seen Tenseiga been used without seeing those creepy things?
We see it when he revives both Jaken and Rin... and Kanta's dad?
I dun remember that well. But other than that it has protected Sesshoumaru-sama,
and stopped him from turning all doggy youkai thingish... hehe. you know.
I don't think Tenseiga heals, only revives... or something like that. ^^
swoosh870
yeah but if thats true what about goshinki's (or thats not how its spelled!) head? didnt he bring that back to life? sess couldve just done that to his arm and reattached it... like he attaches all those other arms!
Patrioil
Didn't that head have those creatures on it?
That's what I remember...
Anyway, if it didn't have those creatures,
my other thought is that a severed youkai doesn't have to be dead.
Once again: what about Kanta's dad? Hm...?

Yeah, I agree that his dog-transformation is weaker. It already was when he still had both arms, since he was much slower, and couldn't dodge Inu Yasha anymore.

It seems like Sessho's dog form isn't as good a fighter as his human form, but for some reason, he seems to think that he's more powerful in doggy form. When the going gets rough in the TV eps, he likes to try and transform anyway (ie Naraku is about to get away after Inuyasha breaks his barrier, or when that BIG cat demon is resurrected and has just smacked Sessho in the face)...

Maybe he has more brute strength in dog form, and when he thinks the situation calls for brute strength, he decides to transform...
Suikotsu
Another mistake that i don't understand:
In eppie 34 or 35, i dunno, when Toutosai is blows fire on Tetsuaiga (ironworking)
the sword is in the big blade form.
maybe Toutosai is a hanyou.. tongue.gif
JimmyV
He made the sword, it stands to reason he knows all the secrets and loopholes to it. You don't build a castle without knowing all the secret passages.
Kagome
Thats tru, I just re watched that ep for boredom and Toutousai did make the sword so he can control it..

Questions about Sango:

While I was looking at a picture of Sango in her taijiya outfit and Sango in her kimono I noticed somethings I couldnt figure out. Sango's katana is on her waist when she is dressed up in taijiya but when she goes back to her normal kimono its not there and with how tight her cloths are and her obvious curves and that the sword cant b under her clothing. Where does it go? I know she has that "back pack" like thing around her neck where she keeps her mask and shoulder pads and stuff but its not large enough for her katana..

Question about Kagome:

Did anyone else notice that in the recent eps her skirt seems longer and her waist bigger? She looks alot fatter. And her skirt just doesnt seem to fit her right anymore. But I also noticed in the recent ep Inuyasha's haroi wasnt drawn as well...
Xelkotsu
Here's something that cannot be logically explained.

Guy with big sword made from fathamburger vs Guy with small sword that turns big once he pulls it out made from some hobo.

Guy with big sword has 3 shardies. He manages to get schooled by a bit.

Guy takes Mr fires 4 shards as you can count I'm pretty sure lil shard thingies and clumps them all into his big sword from fathamburger. He then now fights guy who just kicked his ass.

Guy who kicked his ass kicks his ass again.

Huh? Wha? Damn that's messed.
Kagome
umm okay..that was the most confusing post I have ever read..can you try using names or something..and *sniffle* how come no one answered my mistake thingies..o well!
Patrioil
The reason no one answered your mistakes - we are too stupid.
And, yeah... that post Xelkotsu did was mighty confusing. blink.gif

If I were to answer the thing about Sango and her katana...
it would be way to disturbed, and I would get thrown out.
But I can say that the katana may be magic,
and THAT's the reason Miroku keep on groping her ass...
Did I say too much? Are you gonna throw me out now...?

And the thing about Kagome's clothes...
Have anyone here ever read the Mikazuchi...
Mikazuchi no Densetsu... something something...
about a guy and a girl who's lives on this island their whole lifes,
and now they're gonna travel to Edo with a big sword,
and a foreigner from England... who talks funny. Well?
Anyways, there's a character who looks JUST like Shampoo,
and her hakama just keeps getting shorter and shorter.
In the beginning it's below her knees,
and in the end you can see her panties...
(because obviously you wore panties in the 1600's...)
even from an angle that would otherwise be impossible to spot!
Even the mangaka (author) points this out! ^^

But maybe it's just the artists who's a little tired of Kagome...
Shiori
I've been rather bored at work and I have been reading the manga translations and there was something about Sango's knife later on. I won't say how she used it, but she had it attached to her arm, like up on her shoulder. Of course this is just a knife though, not the katana.
Kagome
ya I know about that I read the manga summaries and Sango has tons of hidden things..but why would they kick u out patroil for saying her sword is magic or whatever..
Patrioil
The katana may be magic... and she keeps it in a special place,
and that's why Miroku keep on groping her ass... was what I said.

Kono Patrioil had a dream tonight, btw.
I dreamt that my friend was a ventriloquist,
but that she was also Batman... somehow.
Amnd the Joker was also there.
and he gave me a white dress for some reason.
(pretty strange because I don't wear dresses...)
And when I woke up the first thing I said was:
"Have you ever seen the devil dance in the pale moonlight?"
Houshi_Sama
ok, this isn't really a mistake, but i've always wondered why the heck jinenji is so ugly. his youkai father was a handsome fellow, and his human mother seemed nice and neat... what the hell happened!
Patrioil
Yeah... it's like Hiten & Manten. ^^
Why is Manten so ugly and Hiten so handsome?
Why didn't Hiten get some of his mothers looks!
Btw... was it their mother that looked so damn ugly?
I really liked Manten... he was so cute... aha!
Gotta go post at another topic... *sneaks away*
Houshi_Sama
Their father looked a lot like Hiten did. A human-looking demon with a ponytail.

Their mother was really damned ugly. Basically Manten with a ribbon on top, or something.

Manten was a funny goof, especially concerning the hair. I liked Hiten more, though, he looked pretty cool. Too bad they got offed. Oh well, Souten carries on the legacy!
Kagome-sama
I felt bad for Manten. He wanted hair so badly... I wish I could cut off a foot of my hair and donate it to Manten. Maybe. No, that would be too much of a sacrifice hehe biggrin.gif .

This is kind of off-topic, but does anyone know what that German (or some language that isn't English) website was on which people could watch Inuyasha without downloading it? I think it was Inuyasha.de or something... Anyone know for sure?
Cyberhunter
I just found an error in the oringal opening of Inuyasha...They show the scene where he gets pinned to the tree by Kikyo's arrow and on his belt he is already holding Tetsuaiga... unsure.gif

I checked it. You're right!
Patrioil
*lol* yeah, that is a mistake... ^^
but I don't think it counts in the OP.
Since he also meets Kagome first in it.
And they probably wanted to show his sword.
Even though we see it in his fight...
against Sesshoumaru-sama, you know.

Oh My Gods... They Actually Sound Serious
Ranma: "Take a look, freak!"
*reveals several pictures of himself*
Ranma: "Yes! Girly pictures... of me!!"
*several sexy photos of Ranma is shown*
Ukyou: "This is Ran-chan's secret plan!?"
Ryouga: "It's the same tactic he allways pulls."
Akane: "No it's not! It's true,
Ranma's put on a skirt often enough...
but he's allways worn boys' underwear!
This time... he put on lingerie!
"
Ryouga: "Of course! I was blind!
He's risking it all!
"

This was my 599'th post...

Hey, man.... at least we didn't consistently refer to Onigumo as "Demon Spider."

"Is that the cave of Demon Spider?"
"The Memories of Demon Spider!!"

Or to Kuro Miko Tsubaki as "KuriMiko..."

And at least we didn't give up on a line and insert "***", which I have seen.

Yeah, it was one mistake--can you let it go?

Patrioil
I like the "hit by a truck" part...
give us more of those. ^^

That's not close to a mistake,
it's unconscious comedy.
Therefore I love it so much.

Keep on running over our favorite characters with a truck!

I think the fact that Toutousai blows fire, has demon-pointed ears, a flying three-eyed cow, and has lived a long time is pretty obvious evidence that points to DEMON. Toutousai is not human.... was it hard to figure out? ^_~

Oh, and someone said something about the first opening with Inuyasha wearing his sword. That's a dream sequence, you know... it's not like that's supposed to be accurate. If anything, that arrow in the opening is more metaphorical than anything else. She did break his heart, didn't she?

The Chibi Has Spoken
Keiko
There was one episode where Sango's Hiraikotsu breaks in half. The next episode I think it was just back to normal as if nothing happened. I dont remember what episode it was, but it happened. I think it might have been when Tessaiga got broken. Does anyone remember this?
