Ok, guys i'm sitting here bored, and i'm thinking which one is the worst osuwari Kagome has ever done to pooor poooor Inu.

I'm between the time he was holding the rock and she sat him so bad he needed to get cured by Kaede.

And that filler we had a while back where everyone was drunk exept for Inuyasha and Miroku. I hate that Kagome sat him so much in that ep. I mean he wasn't even at fault in that one.


Ok. guys tell which one is your most hated osuwari!!

I think the osuwari with the rock was the worst..

the best was when he was in the tree..

I liked the one during the Shichinintai Arc where they met up with kikyou and Inuyasha had to bring her out of the mountain area, and then Kagome was upset about it and held it in but Inuyasha forced her to talk... and talk... and Osuwari him.

That wrong osuwari was a fun one for me, caue it was at the begining.

Hmmm. Now that I think about it. You are right it sucked.

For me, the worst osuwaris are the ones Kagome gives Inuyasha whenever she's pissed off about Kikyou. Almost all of them fall into the category of "sit abuse." Especially during those times when he's just trying to help Kikyou, and Kagome goes and bites his head off for it. Of course, it doesn't help that Inuyasha is completely oblivious to the fact that she needs a little time to cool off after a Kikyou incident, and so he effectively digs his own grave almost every time. All in all... I really hate the Kikyou sits.

There are a few osuwari incidents that I do love, however. The one in episode 7 where she sits him off the bridge is a classic. Gets me every time. And I love the monster osuwari in episode 135 when she's drunk. That is the mother of all sits... there's just no topping that one.

lol!! Ditto! I rewatched that one scene so many times. It's one of the few times I actually thought an Oswari was funny, just because of Inuyasha's response when Miroku asked for his help. And the whole drunken element made it especially hilarious. LOL!

But, I find the worst ones, are the oswaris she says in the fill in's. Usually, she just says it for the heck of it, even though he really didn't do anything wrong, but say a line or two... >_>

The drunken Osuwari was one of my favorites, too, actually, as silly as it was. In some sick, demented way, I think Inu might have been a bit relieved by it, too. I don't know what would have been worse for him, being kissed by drunk Sango or being slammed by his girl. At least he's used to being slammed.

Classic osuwari are, of course, the FIRST osuwari... the first multiple osuwari... the episode 23 "just don't let them know you're seeing the other or... *(from well: OSUWARIIIIIIIIIIiiii!"* Ah yes, it's 'osuwari.'" The "bring Inu back from being a berzerker" osuwari (43)... and for some reason I just totally cracked up in the "sit Inuyasha through the well" osuwari in 130 (but mostly because Kappei and Satsuki were so hilariously good in it).

My leas favorite osuwari? The osuwari at the end of Tenka Hadou no Ken. It sounded stupid. It's like everyone's been saying. I know they HAD to put the beads back on him somehow, but it seemed kind of stupid. The ones in the other two movies made me laugh... but this one was like:

"Don't you trust me?"
"I trust you."
"ARGH! SO WHAT'S WITH THE NECKLACE?!"
(sounding waaay to frikking cheerful) "o-su-wa-ri!"
*WHAM!*

My favorite osuwari has to be from ep 82, when Kagome sees Inuyasha sitting outside of her classroom window and shouts it so that the other students don't see him.

Kagome: OSUWARI!
Inuyasha (smashed in the pavement):......why.....?

The multiple-osuwari thing seems to have lost the effect it originally had on him. In the manga at least, the first time she did it more than once, he couldn't move for a while because his back hurt (in the episode it's because the rock fell on him though). Now it's just like, "Ho hum, another 10 oswuari's in a row."

The one at the beginning of episode 5 always annoyed me. It's like, "I know you're horribly injured, so I'm going to make you fall out of a tree! Heehee!" Everytime I see it I just wonder how her mind works.

Now it's become like an abused priviledge. Inuyasha yelled at me! OSUWARI! Inuyasha picked on Shippou! OSUWARI! Inuyasha didn't act exactly the way I wanted him to! OSUWARI OSUWARI OSUWARI!

But my all time most hated osuwari is the one at the beginning of episode 98, when he doesn't like the food she cooked so she slams him into the ground and stalks off. Sheesh. Sometimes I think she needs anger management.

I agree, that is a great sit. I thought the one early on, where Kagome is trying to go back, and he's going to smash the well with a rock and she just lets off a stream of oswaris. I found that one funny.

One I like too is episode 57? (its a human episode), and they're all sobbing, and he comes back alive and well while Kagome's in tears.

"You're crying!"
"I am not!"
"Yes, you are!"
"No I'm not!"
"Yes, you are!"
"No I'm not. OSWARI!"

And then Shippo chimes in with "Okay, now he's dead."

Something about that was cute. Even though he just barely escaped death... he's a strong man; eludes death and is rewarded with a sit.

I agree that the anime has Kagome acting a lot more "osuwari-happy" than Takahashi intended. What's the most times in a row she's ever said it in the manga? Five, maybe?

But Inuyasha's always loved teasing Kagome just to get her temper flared. It's his way of flirting, I'm sure. The consequences are apparently worth it to him, since he hasn't let it stop him. If it really bothered him, he never would've fallen for Kagome in the first place.

Anyway, my most hated sits are the ones done in front of Kouga. Not that Inu doesn't need it most of the time with his temper, it's just that wolf-boy always has to rub it in and act all smug. I doubt Kouga would fare any better in his place.

Gah... yeah, I hate those almost as much as the Kikyou sits. The one in ep 46, for instance... poor Inuyasha is wounded for cripe's sake, and she sits him not once, but twice. And then she says it's out of concern for his wounds. Um, Kagome... checked for any holes in your logic lately...?

Plus I just hate to see the poor guy get humiliated in front of Kouga every time. Sigh.


LOL... definitely. And Akane's mallet abuse is like ten times worse than Kagome's sit abuse. XD What is it with Takahashi's female characters beating up on their guys all the time, anyway? I think almost all of them could stand to learn a little anger management...

Hehehe. I've noticed that most of Takahashi's work seems to be remarkably empowering to the female aspect...very strong and forthright characters, playing a dominant role..

...plus you just can't overlook the fact that she seems to take delight in "de-masculinizing" the male leads in her stories...Ranma had to deal with growing boobies, and Inuyasha has to deal with his time of the month. ;

XD Aw, but where would the fun be in that?!

And on a more serious note, for some reason, it just think it wouldn't be quite as amusing if it was the other way around (like if Inuyasha slams Kagome with a sit spell or Ranma beans Akane with a mallet). I dunno, even if I weren't a girl, there's more of a humor factor when it's the girls who get to wham the guys... because it just doesn't seem as serious that way.

I mean that in no disrespect to guys, but I just think there wouldn't be a humor factor at all if it were reversed. Not that I revel in peoples' pain or anything, but... uh... well... I' doing a bad job of explaining myself. o_O

Though in all seriousness, I know exactly what you mean. But I didn't mean that the whole thing should be reversed... if anything, I'd like it if it were toned down or stopped altogether. Not that it isn't occasionally funny to see Ranma go sailing through the air in his traditional three-fingers-extended pose, or see Inuyasha go SLAM on those rare occasions when he does have it coming... but I do get tired of seeing the guys get picked on all the time. Just because they can take it doesn't mean they should always have to. Why can't Kagome just smack Inuyasha upside the head or something instead? Keh.

Yeah, I still wish they'd have done that differently. Like have Rin go, "Thanks, Mister doggy man! Oh, here's your collar back!" Although the possessed-homicidal sit in the middle was kinda cool. The beads tugged, but he didn't drop.

Hm, a lot of my favorite "osuwari" moments have already been mentioned, but I also like the one in episode 82 when Kagome's doing her homework and Inuyasha is looking over her shoulder.

I think the worst sit in all times is when Inuyasha has the stupid rock on top of him because of the stupid little monkey's trick and then Kagome got mad at him ( I think ) or something and wanted to go to her world, but then Inuyasha didn't want her too and after that she went like " Osuwari, Osuwair, Osuwari, Osuwariiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Question guys. How much time do you think has passed since Kagome first met Inuyasha up till episode 145? I ahve to say just shy of a year or so.

I'd say about six-seven months. Takahashi hasn't shown any new moons for a long time in the manga, but they were steadily averaging one every five volumes for a while there. The current episodes correspond with Volume 31, so... That's my reasoning. Besides, Kagome's still in the same grade.

Speaking of which, Kagome only gets really violent with the Sit command if it's the anime writers trying to be funny. I think the worst she ever gets in the manga was when Inu tried to smash the well with the boulder. Although that one where she pushes him onto the bridge was pretty cute.
