Mwah. So, this isn't exactly a "favorite music" topic, although in a way, I'm betting that it will wind up being that way. In a way.

So I was watching episode 143 again last night and thinking of how beautifully done the ressurection scene was... but the thing that I think really gets to me every time is how PERFECT the music was in that scene.

So, what scenes do you think had the best music in them?

For me, the ressurection scene in 143 has just been added to one of my favorites.

But I think my ultimate favorite will always be from episode 43, when Inuyasha is full-youkai and Kagome is walking up to him telling him the enemeis are gone. The music in that scene was brilliant.

That, and the use of Kagura's theme during Shippou's Big Duel in episode 68. Don't ask why. For some reason that music doesn't seem to remind me of Kagura at all. It reminds me of laughing chestnuts and crying mushrooms. And fighting over crayons... XD

Soooooooo... yep! happy.gif

And you?

Episode 5
At least I think it was episode 5... when Inu's sitting in a tree,
thinking about his mother, and Kagome walks to the tree,
looks up at him wondering if he really hated his mother...
I think it's Unmei to Koikokoro playing, and it fitted so well...

Episode 45, Inuyasha's second full youkai transformation. cool.gif Sesshoumaru's theme starts playing full blast as he rushes forward to attack Inuyasha, but then stops, and Inuyasha sorta sits down all dark-looking, and then the wind changes exactly when he looks up and you can see he's transformed again... holy shit. It gave me chills. It gave my chills chills. And the music was just perfect for it.

Another scene I liked was his third transformation (what is it with these scenes getting the best music?) in episode 52, when he and Miroku were imprisoned by Gatenmaru and "Henkashita Inuyasha" from OST 2 plays. Was that track written expressly for that scene? Because it fit so well... maximum creepy-coolness.

Others...

Episode 27 - "Dai Hangeki" from OST 1 plays during the battle against the false water kami. I've always loved this battle, and I've always suspected that the reason for that is the way the music goes along with it. (Especially when Inuyasha pulls out Tetsusiaga and slices the guy... I'm always like, "YEAH, INUYASHA! KICK HIS ASS!!!" XD)

Episode 50 - "Ten Kakeru Sango" from OST 2, when Sango is fighting Kohaku. I think this was the first time this music played, and this one scene convinced me to buy OST 2 (the first one I got).

Episode 118 - Sango's theme ("Sango to Miroku", OST 3), as she swears to Miroku that she won't leave him and that they'll die together. So beautiful... wub.gif

Episode 124 - "Kusen" from OST 3, when Hakureizan starts to collapse. What I love is when it gets toward the end and Naraku's theme pops up for just a few seconds, as Naraku confronts Kikyou with the wind blowing around all dramatic-like. Soooo cool. *_*

Episode 132 - "Sango to Miroku" again, but this time Miroku's theme (which, incidentally, is pwnage incarnate). When he faces off against Sango, just as the sun is rising all dramatically in the background, and he keeps pressing on even though she seems to have a never-ending supply of things to cut him with. XD I never get tired of watching this scene. Ever.
WoP
I love the music in the scene at the very end of episode 74, when they're all riding off on Hachi and Kagome thinks back on how Inuyasha probably wanted to tell Shiori something. The music during the whole end of that episode makes me want to watch it over and over again.

I also like the music from episode 5, when Kagome is figuring out that Inuyasha is half human and Inuyasha is sitting in that tree. It's just so.......angst.

But my favorite would have to be the Shichinintai music at the end of 109. I watch that over and over again just to see the boys riding off to meet Bankotsu with that "bum bum bum" music playing. That music is just so perfectly Shichinintai, and it fits the scene perfectly. It reminds me of the seven dwarfs; I just expect them to start singing, "Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to kill we go!"
