SaiyaMan has the 142 raw up for download, so looks like it's finally time to say hello to our evil-adorable little boy Hakudoushi.

Which means that finally, finally the anime is catching up to the manga! Here's hoping that Takki and Tsubasa episode doesn't come too soon, because I'm enjoying canon way too much for my own good. And things just get cooler after this, after all.

I was just wondering...is epi. 143 another filler?? does anybody know?

And another thing, is he gathering heads to read their minds to see if they know anything about the last jewel shard? Or some other reason?

I only just got to watch it myself a little while ago, and, uh... ::giddy grin:: Approximately half the episode is filler dealing with the resurrection of Entei's old master (I forget his name), because the actual first encounter with Hakudoushi is way too short, so they have to spice it up somehow. It's not bad, though... it even makes for a grander entrance for little 'Doushi, since he gets to show up and kick the youkai's butt to become Entei's new master. (And man... Hakudoushi pwnage might even be cooler than Houshi pwnage. XD) It is way too much fun to watch the little man kick ass, I tell you...


LOL... 'tis true, he is very tiny...

The episode sort of previews what's going to happen next week, too (and just to answer your question, Carrot--143 will still be canon... with Sesshoumaru, no less); we get to see a headless youkai or two. Which, incidentally, made for what was by far the most entertaining scene for me... Hakudoushi chops off a random head and then drags it along behind him like a Christmas tree while Kagura looks on. For some reason, it just totally cracked me up:





It's just like, "ho hum, another for the collection..." XD

But anyway... so basically, it was good. Spectrum gives this episode two severed heads up.

This epiosde was really cool! I somehow liked the part when the demon guy(Rengokuki) was chasing after Kagura. He's like "Be my wife!" and Kagura's like " Wtf?" lol i dunno but is it just me? i find that part kinda funny...

Awwwe! No wonder I haven't heard anything from you about the Doushmeister, Patchness. *huggles*

XD That part just cracks me up. The nonchalant look on his face...its so special (for a lack of a better word). ^^ It's like he's saying lalalalalala...I got another head.

I like him so much more after watching the episode. *Wants more HakudoushiNess* Only he can kick so much ass and be so very cool and collected at the same time.

Speaking of kicking ass while being calm, I'm looking forward to Sesshy.

(okay, so that's a bit of an exaggeration but, unless the anime adds something, Sesshoumaru won't be doing any ass-kicking for a looooooong while yet).

All I know is Sess comes out somewhere around when the chi no kawa (?) appears...how far that is from now...I don't remember. But...I'm reading the manga! Be proud of me. XD

Man, I finally saw this ep... that little guy is TINY!!! It's a good thing they didn't show how he managed to climb up onto ENtei's back. It would have looked too funny!

Ah, but after seeing his fight with Rengokuki, do you really doubt the Doushter's 1337 jumping abilities?

Anyway... in other news, Hakudoushi is still awesome. And I'm still trying to remind myself that there are houshis to drool over, and Doushi is evil. And tiny. And... dammit! XD

I swear if Sesshoumaru get kill/defeated/control by Hakudoshi. I will quit watching Inuyasha. What make me think of Sesshoumaru? Hakudoshi is now looking for STRONG youkai. So, eventually Sessy name would popup. Right now I'm not too confident about Sessy strength since it seem he is at his limit. Oh yeah, Inuyasha too is at his limit.

Oh wait...cross out being kill by Hakodoshi since tensegai would protect Sesshoumaru.

Of course! Sessh-man is immortal! That is, until he drops Tenseiga accidently during battle.... THEN he won't be quite so invinsible.

But I agree - the death of Sesshy will be the end of my Inuyasha. He is far too awesome to die. If you have to kill someone, kill Kanna or someone else like that.

I've been following the Kraze subs lately, so I'm a little behind with the anime. ^^;

But did anyone else notice something strange in episode 142? Either the animation team was trying to be funny, or they had a relapse of bad quality control - there were two distinct scenes where Inuyasha had claws on his feet, and none on his hands...

Yah, they miss it sometimes. There's a scene in 144 where he doesn't have any on his feet. ;

But that's the thing. According to the manga canon (and the majority of anime episodes, not to mention the first OP), I was under the impression that he only had claws on his hands, which seemed to play well into the whole concept of his being a hanyou... his toenails may be made of the same stuff as his claws, but they're not shaped that way.

Typically he doesn't seem to have them, no...just that one scene in 144 stood out to me cuz it focused on his feet. But I've seen him with and without...personally I prefer him without, but I dunno. o_O

Pardon the interruption, but... I can't believe people are talking about Inuyasha's toenails. XD

Of course, it's even weirder that the anime people can't seem to decide what to do about his toenails (the artbook clearly shows he doesn't have claws on his feet)... but still.

Having claws on his feet is just...weird to me for some reason.

I wonder if Sesshy has claws on his feet And there was an ep there they didn't put claws on his hands too...I think it was that one where Jaken was sliced in half. ^^

Ohhh yes, that was the Toukijin-introduction episode; everytime I watch it I cringe at his clawless hands. I don't think he COULD have any claws on his feet, wouldn't they rip up his fancy boots?

The animators also can't seem to decide whether or not Naraku has claws or not. Most of the time he doesn't, but there are certain scenes (such as when he wakes up Ryuukotsei) when he does have claws.

I think the toe-claws look stupid too; they don't seem to serve any purpose either. Just give him normal feet, he doesn't need claw feet.
