I was thinking yesterday, the more recent filler eps are getting just a tad bit trite and...how should I put it... boring? I swear, it's incredibly obvious that they've been slacking. I mean, look at episode 65 ('Goodbye to the Days of Youth') for example. Is that just not the perfect Miroku filler? I nearly died laughing during the entire thing, and Shyouga-baba, not a Takahashi character but still as lovable as the rest of 'em.

Then there's the Sango eppie, #59. With none of Inu-tachi interfering, it was so fun to see her interact with the two apprentice sisters.

Omg... and I can't possibly forget 78. ::squeejoybouncesparkledie:: MUST HAVE MORE MIROSAN FILLERS!!!!!11ONEone XD XD

So I'm sure any of us here can do a better job on non-canon eps. Not to be confused with the 'Episode Titles' thread. =P

Off the top of my head... ::imagination running wild::

I originally wrote a ridiculously long description of what I'd want to see in an episode, so I've summarized it into two small paragraphs here.;;

It's wintertime and Inu-tachi are taking a break from their quest so with Kagome's introduction they decide to have some fun by doing some snow-boarding (or sledging) on a nearby hill. Inuyasha doesn't get much action until near the end, where they all get tangled up and slide down the hill to their doom. j/k

I'm thinking of some nice camera angles in this one, like a view of each of them flying off the tip of the slope and getting some sun rays while they're giddy with excitement. Haha...I'd like to think that Miroku will have his sleeves and the bottom of his robe tied up to prevent tripping/tearing, and no kesa either. ::drooldroolwatermeltsteam:: Of course, who wouldn't think that I'd incorporate some form of Mirokuesque fanservice if I had control. XD

Ohh, teh possibilities. *_*

The fillers that take place in Kagome's time are always fun. Inuyasha and Kagome really need to go up against more modern youkai.

XD I'm surprised there HASN'T been a body-switch episode yet. It's kinda cliche, but that never stopped the filler writers. However, the switch that would make for the most interesting episode would either be a Kikyou <-> Kagome one or an Inuyasha <-> Sesshoumaru one, mostly because those are the pairs of characters who would REALLY benefit from a "walk a mile in their shoes" scenario with their counterpart. Granted, revelations from those episodes (if done correctly) might be too deep for filler, so that could b a reason to shy away from them.

I'd want to see a Sango<->Miroku one XD Even though it would probably be pretty boring....Miroku would be over in the corner the whole time groping himself. XD XD And Sango would probably spend most of the time over in her own corner wondering why she had the urge to touch Kagome's boobs all of a sudden...

There is some...episode...of something...where the pervy guy and the hot girl switched bodies and he kept touching him...er...herself. I cant remember what it was from though. So many shows have body switch episodes. I always liked Farscapes body swap episodes. Funny!

Mwahaha... although I gotta say, I kind of disagree about the recent batch of filler episodes, Pai-chan. I thought that with a few exceptions, they've been pretty good. 133 through 135 were all excellent. And although I could do without the Shippou fillers (episode 68 was great, but he hasn't had a good filler since), I actually didn't mind the Sengoku Sandwich Arc. It had its flaws, but it grew on me... and hey, it had killer Miroku pwnage in 139, too.

But it is true that there's some real potential out there for future fillers if they're willing to go for it. :evil: Besides the aforementioned body-swapping (which they must do before the series ends, dammit), I also want to see a few more Jaken fillers... because I have to see if anything can top 79, the all-time best filler episode. And like Honeybee mentioned, the fillers that take place in Kagome's time are usually good too, so it couldn't hurt to do a few more of those.

When it comes to more Miroku fillers, I actually don't want any more to focus on MiroSan. With all due respect to the anime writers... I think they've screwed around with those two enough as it is. (Bleh.) What I'd really like to see is an episode focusing on Miroku and Inuyasha, without the girls involved for just once. And ideally, this episode would involve the one other filler standard that IY has so far been lacking... cross-dressing. :evil:

So far the craziest filler ep has been 135, if I can recall. A bit OOCness too.

Spect, I must say, I was being a bit too judgemental about the recent fillers, as some of them are in fact pretty well done. I just hope the quality doesn't decline over time. You have to admit that eppies like 136 are just not so great...I dunno. I think it's best that they stick to the manga for a while and include more fillers when the anime is caught up (if it can last that long). Hopefully they'll have some good original ideas by then.

Haha...a Miroku and Inuyasha eppie. Sounds too good. Omg...now I really want to see a filler in which Miroku-sensei takes Inuyasha on a perv/peep/pimp tour through one of those Oshou-sama residences, when it's full of hime's and/or maid's/etc.. Imagine. XD

i wanna see Sessho switch bodies with either Rin or Jaken.

I think it would be killer funny if Sessho skipped around in grassy fields while plucking wildflowers. While a stoic Rin stands off to the side, totally buried inside her new fluffy.

Or if Sessho scurried about to and fro, mumbling to himself about Sesshomaru-sama. While Jaken stands off to the side, suddenly as cool as a cucumber.

I want to see another Rin filler. Episode 96 is one of my top two favorite filler episodes (the other is ep 99) just because Rin is so cute! And the shot of Sesshy holding her........ I must have played that over and over and over.

I've always invisioned this scenario where Sesshoumaru and Rin end up by themselves for once. Maybe Jaken had to go somewhere, and maybe he took Ah-Uh with him....I dunno, but somehow or another it ends up just being the Sessh-man and Rin. The way they interact together when it's just them is so adorable; I want more of it! It would be a "how does Sesshoumaru take care of Rin when Jaken isn't around to do it for him" episode.

I agree, the Rin cuteness is the best, without making you queasy. I liked the Rin episodes so far, especially considering the depth it adds to Sesshoumaru's character. Just what is going on in his head? Nobody knows...

I just have to love Rin, she's too darn cute. I'm a sucker for a cute face, I can't help it.

Hmmm... I would love to see more Sesshoumaru and Kohaku interactions. Those two got issues together.

Of course, it'll be like:

You know what I want? A villain filler. Naraku and Kagura have yet to really get any filler (aside from Kagura's little jaunt with Rengokuki in 142). Why is it that main villains are forbidden from appearing in filler? It's not like we really take them seriously, anyway.
