I just downloaded divx from fan girl friday but can seem to get program to come up
any sugestions on what i should do
i am not very computer savvy.

Well, I;m not a mac man, but did you get the mac version?

If you are unsure, go to this site divx for mac and download there. The problem maybe that you are tring to install the windows version.

2 ways

1) a program that fixes the sound problems for divx on a mac. for that, i suggest divx doctor. it will also work on xvid
2) a program to play your avi's... im not sure of the name but vlc player. it can play most avi files.
