I loved Dio - and cast my vote for him. It was wonderful watching his transformation from a Guild puppet to a real person with feelings and will, then heartbreaking to watch his mind be erased by Maestro Delphine.

Lavie here!! She has always been my favorite since Ep2! I just like her strong will and the way she sees things and ppl for what they really are and not what they pretend to be. She's a balance for Claus and makes him complete!

She's a kick ass Navi (non war times) AND mechanic!

Alex! because he rocks? XD

He's got that mysterious-dark-handsome-man thing going on in the beginning.
I didn't like the fact that he died because he could never get pass Yuris's death...
But being able to love someone so much makes him...lovable ^^'

Although I really like Sophia, Vincent, the Mechanics, Moran, Claus, Lavi and Alvis too.

Ah, LE brings such grand nostalgia. It is and likely will continue to be my favorite AF production, you know.

Anyway. Gotta go with Alex, boys and girls. He's quite simply the most b'dass character in the entire program. Sure, we all thought he was some stoic, emotionless creep from the beginning, but it became quite clear that he was quite a deep character. Plus he had some really nice moments. For instance, his little stint with those lovely revolvers during Delphine's brief occupation of the Silvana (I'm no Trek fan, but it kinda reminds me of the way Picard goes medieval on the asses of anyone who dares hurt his beloved ship). Plus his final revenge on Delphine was excellent, done in a sort of Kikaider-esque fashion. Marvelous.

Oh well. Two more months until LE has been out a year... I do so miss it. Sadness.

all hail queen delphine... may she be remembered as malintentious, arrogant, and just plain evil in everyone's psyche.... i do enjoy a good villain

Ah, Delphine, she was cruel bitch wasn't she? Probably one of the best there ever was.

But I'd have to say my fav character was Lavi, cos she was so spunky and down to earth.

Because i have a gf who loves me very much and bought me the box set dvd of last exile for christmas, (it was actually a late chistmas gift, but still one of the best) i've watched Le over and over again, and no matter how many times i watch i always think Alex is the best character, with Claus coming in a very close 2nd. I mean Alex was just a badass, and even when he knew he was defeated he still fought with everything he had to defeat Delphine, and the way he killed her... she deserved no less. What a great guy. One of the most memorable from all the anime i've ever seen.

ahhhh i remember way back when... when Tatiana won all the votes or atleast got more then one... Tatiana is teh awesome go ice queen go

and the only girl i can think of that parallels delphine for evil, is that red head from gundamseed... you know the creapy one... psyco bitch? fah i cant remember her name... anyways if you;ve watched the show you know what i'm talking about

i casted my vote for lavi. nothing more to say, really. she kicks ass.

Lavi's attitude is the funniest and most emotional, and she's just simply the force that keeps LE going. Especially episode 8, that was a great one.

Althought i've only watched half of the whole series, right now my vote is for Dio, he's just totally mysterious to me...pretty cool stuff the guild has too.

hiya all, newbie here (even though I've visited here for a while, just been too lazy to register). That's a really tough choice cuz I really liked all the characters but Moran really grabbed me. I felt like I could relate to him in a lot of ways...plus he was about as lucky with women as me.

I've seen through ep. 16 and I am all for Claus. There's a reason he's got 4 women falling all over themselves for him! (Several actually - he's determined, chivalrous, optimistic, self-assured, and has a pair of blue eyes to melt your soul.)

As for the DVD images, I will be able to FINALLY do those this coming week. Spring Break is a WONDERFUL thing. I should also be able to finally finsh the last chapter of my fanfic which has been giving me the hardest trouble! I should also be able to find time to create some desktop sound bytes for your computer. So when you first log into your computer, you should be able to hear the wonderful strains of the LE intro song. Among other sound clips.

Delphine went through everything Dio did. And she had to watch Cicada die like that....I saw some definate sparks between the two!
