Im not a mod or anything..but so many oneliners
13 eps is short...is that for certain or is someone guessing?

I read that it was for certain on a fansite.
Unless that site was wrong, and I doubt that it is, it's 13 eps.

Why does it air so late in Japan? Doesn't strike me as an adult-content type of show...

Sometimes it's hard to get around oneliners, and you have to choose which ones are worth leaving and which ones need to be nuked. Sylf is a mod on the CC forum, and so am I. Sylf was just answering ATR's question, but yeah sometimes oneliners are pointless. Then there's questions that can be answered in one line. *shrugs and smiles*

It's not a question of why CC airs so late at night - a lot of anime airs late at night, especially on the primary network channels. Some cable and satellite channels can allocate more time to air anime during daytime or prime time... But usually, the slots for anime during prime time are pretty limited. It's just a general trend...

really wow i do learn sumtin new everyday stupid people cant make time for good animes

And what makes them stupid for airing them at a later time? Schedules are generally chosen to generate the networks money. Chrno Crusade is a relatively new show, hence they probably won't want to stick it into a prime slot that could be filled by something that is already a proven winner.

Chrno Crusade airs on Tuesdays at 2:38 AM Japan time. It's 13 episodes in length, but to my knowledge the manga is still running, so depending on the popularity of the series perhaps we'd see a season two.

How in the world do the kids stay up or get up the next morning (unless it's a ploy to sell VCRs or better still - dvd recorders)??
Or maybe with the hawt nuns kicking ass it kinda makes sense...

Only 13 eps?

*whine* I already love this series. I know 13 eps isn't going to satisfy me.

At least we get more than we got with BASTARD!

Man i loved that one too, I hope this one has a good ending.

13 eps... I really wonder where in the world that information came originally from. I just can't see justice for the series in measily 13 episodes. They would either have to rush things a lot, miss lots of details, or they won't get anywhere NEAR the end of the story. Heh, 13 eps... I just can't see how that's really gonna happen.
Well, Hellsing managed it in 13 eps, but the ending was pretty vague.

Yeah...I agree with Sylf on this one, but really when do I not agree with him?

Seriously though, I don't want this to end up like Cinderella Boy did. While I did like the series, 13 episodes was not enough to wrap the series up. There just wasn't any closure to the series for me to consider it fantastic or anything like that. I really like Chrno Crusade thus far and I think a 26 episode series would be sufficient.

So, about 3-5 days after it airs, its ganan be subbed? So far thats what i seen. Inuyasha eps are becoming so...slow. 135 is out and were at 129 But i guess this is for another forum

;; Keep up the good work

i love this site

very little rules and no1 can find out where i live >.> ahhh what a site. Maybe it'll be longer who knows. Do we know this is official? email the makers and ask or somethin

Err, don't have any expectations for when it releases... I'd say we've been doing released within a 48-72 hour timeframe from when it airs, which is what I like to refer to as "the psycho schedule." As the series drags on, I guarantee you that we'll become more laid back and released will take a bit longer (but never more than a week). Finals week has also begun, so it's possible that releases will be slower than normal.
I mean, let's face it, it'd be pretty cool if we just sat and fansubbed all day, but there's a whole world out there ^____^ We also refuse to sacrifice quality for speed...

2:38am! That is really late air time. Also, why 38min?
Dont they do half hour or full hour blocks?
13 ep. is damn short. Hope they do another season.
I agree with every one who says 26 is way better for a decent story development.
Hmmm, hey Shiori are you confused on weather Sylf is an him or a her?

Shiori knows Sylf is a male, but Shiori is a female (woohoo!). The /me thing was a reference to IRC, where if you type /me it's like an action. Like if I typed /me hugs Shiori on his way out, it'd show up as
* Ledgem hugs Shiori on his way out
So yeah, Shiori wasn't confused... :\

I suppose I forget that not everyone uses IRC.
To stay a little on topic, Chrno Crusade airs late Monday night.
Who cares if I am redundant as long as I am on topic?

Yeah, 13 episodes is what every place I've seen agrees on, it airs at like, 2:20 a.m or something like that. Didn't this series start a few weeks into the new season of anime? Maybe they just couldn't find a better slot.
