In PeaceMaker Kurogane, there appears to be a good variety of characters that have currently made their appearance in the episodes so far. They can range form the extremely arrogant ones, to the shy, timid characters. It is pretty cool how the developers made it this way, seemingly suiting the tastes and interests of the audience who watch this anime. So, with that settled, I would like to ask every one of you, "Which PeaceMaker Kurogane character is your favorite?" I'm wondering which character grasps your attention the most, and if you crave their historical past, or what they are going to become later on. So far, I find the coolness of Hijikata to hold onto my interest. He seems to have confidence in his own strength, and seems to keep his cool in even the most serious of situations. At first, I thought he was Saitou since he brings one some similarities with Saitou in Rurouni Kenshin. But I was wrong, and found his personality to be quite interesting indeed. Okay. he he... fav characters.... tough choice actually.... but i gotta say that saya is mine... i have this thing that i always fall in love with the innocent chars... but the next one after her is hands down souji... he's got a lot more going on with him than i think anyone realizes...

Okita Souji of course. ^^ 'Cause he's not completely sane, very cool when he's serious (and adorable otherwise), and a great swordsman.

Suzu for sure! I love that bad boy/ Vegeta type persona! Riding the line of dark side and good side of the force:huh: ! Plus you gotta love the hair!

I'm probably not at that episode just yet, I'm barely around the 4th episode.

Okita Souji and Hijikata Touzou are my two favorites. So pretty. Nagakura Shinpachi and Harada Sanosuke amuse me as well.

Suzu - really interesting character:D
Yamasaki Susumu - he's pretty:P, and he looks really good as a spy:P

Ichimura Tatsunosuke - he's good in apologize:D
and...Hijikata, he looks like saito from Kenshin...but he's more handsome than saito:P

They're the best...but action is still going...and lots of good staff(bishonen:P:D) can be in PMK:D

I love that he always has that bandaid on his nose. I love that he's soooo very good with a sword. And I love how flipping adorable and goofy he is. And I also might love that Kappei does his voice XD

But Saizu is also massive. I mean, before PMK, I never knew that pigs said "Pugi". I always thought it was "Oink".

Yes, same here. He's a very interesting character. I love him, he's the best. And I love strong men like him n_~ He has a lot of patience, that's a good thing. Shinpanchi is funny, too n_n

Souji because he's weird, laid-back and cool at the same time.

Up until now, what do you think of Yoshida? He seems pretty scary. After what I have seen in episode 3 I think, it seems he hardly has any tolerance for mistakes or anything like that.

I'd say Suzu cause I think he could end up being the very intresting, if I didn't hate playing guess that gender however it would have been Souji.

Lol, particularly in light of Jacko, suddenly it becomes risque for men to say they like little girls (kids) XP.

NEway, I like Saitou. He's looks like a stoned bloodhound, but in a cool sort of way. His hair style is also nifty (the squarish, mid-length ponytail is actually pretty manly). His sixth sense also makes him "special".

Hmm ... I think there are lots of interesting characters - that's why I like it so much!
My favorite has to be Hijikata. Coolest Voice Ever and all.
I also really liked Saitou - he's so weird!
Okita and Saya are really fascinating, too.
And apparently now Ayu-nee is one to watch. (after the beginning of Episode 8.)
But really - I'm usually transfixed from start to finish. There always seems to be something interesting going on with one character or another.
I'm glad Tetsu is getting his crap together. His antics were humorous, but not particularly heroic.

Yamazaki Susumu - for being the best cross-dresser i've ever seen, and also the whole spy business
Souji Okita - gentle, understanding, and yet still a kick-ass fighter
Yoshida - gotta love the suave, sake-drinking villain

My favorite char... I'd say Yoshida. I have no tolerance for stupid mistakes either (and if I had a authority to order seppukus all around, the gutters in these parts would have been overrun w/ blood and guts And maniacs with a flair for arson or not, I still think the Ishin Shishi were right in their vision of Japan.

My fave is Yamazaki, he simply looks the coolest to me. Plus, I think that one cook lady in the Shinsengumi (don't remember her name) actually likes him, and he isn't even trying. What a pimp!

Also a fan of the pig Saizou, because cute round angry creatures rule!
