I read somewhere that the official site lists fifteen episodes so far.
As I don't understand Japanese, I can't check that out ot be sure...

well...this series is going out pretty well after the first 4 ep's and i would think that 15 ep's is too little, but if you look at it, there are some VERY good anime series that have character development and great aspects to it EVEN THOUGH they are 15 ep's or les...like full metal panic fumoffu?!

Hey with only 15 eps it will be pretty easy to burn to cd, but yeah I like a series when it does get a few more episodes than that.

yeah, considering the shinsengumi imon peacemaker manga only has 6 bks... hope the series lasts for at least 30 eps though... it'll b so cool to see souji in action... i mean in a real battle

Yes, but after Imon, there's the continuation
Kurogane...so I think GONZO has enough manga material to make a full 26 episode series (at least, I hope so).

The person said so far, that means that it could easily go farther than 15 episodes... I personally hope that it's at least 26 episodes, I don't like it when anime that I really like turn out to only be a few episodes (like Twin Signal, I got hooked on the first episode, and went insane after discovering that it was 3 episodes

)

based on where the series is rought now after 5 eps, I seriously doubt they are only planning on 15. I don't see how they would get through any kinda of an actual story at the rate things are flowing. I'm guessing it goes 26 or so.

I remember clicking on a link that someone had on the forum somewhere that showed shows in japan, and the estimated # of shows they planned..
For the life of me, I cant remember if PMK had a number of episodes..
FMA, if memory serves will be 52.
I cant remmeber if Gilgamesh had a plan, or if it went to 26.... so much for my memory.

Given their pacing unless they pick things up really quickly I'll guess there are around 26 eps.

the title says PeaceMaker Kurogane, TV Animation Starter Book (sorry, not starter kit) it's a little blue book slightlu larger than the usual manga and it has profiles and details of the characters and seiyuus... but it's in JAPANESE *cry* i thought it was in english... it's published by mag garden, btw.

I thought this show was slotted for 2 seasons (read it somewhere, or maybe I'm just confused...).
Has anyone heard any recent news of a second season? The only thing I've seen in writing from the anime news network is that it's going for 24 eps, currently.

But, what will they put in the second season? I have the PMK mangas (1-3), and it has a lot of the of the things that are in the anime, already. The anime already put in many things from the other manga series "Shinsengumi Imon PeaceMaker". If they were to make a second season, what would they put in it?
I think , we should keep it at 26.
This also leaves another gap...
Is Peacemaker manga still running? I heard the fourth book came out just recently...

What could they put in the second season??
My word. So much has gone on unaddressed. I still am unsure exactly what role Tetsu's father played to have such great allies and enemies. The dred lock guy worshipped him, while Yoshida who is supposed allies with dredlocks, killed him.
There's so much unresolved between all the characters, too. So many conflicts left to hash out. So many relationships that are in limbo, or still developing. How on earth are they going to solve them all in just two more episodes??
So I wonder if the manga has a somewhat resolved ending... I've got a feeling I'll be picking it up after the series ends to find out what happens to my beloved characters.
This show man... *shivers* I don't want it to end. The latter eps have just left me speechless.

I don't even think they addressed it in the manga, either.
Who knows, maybe it will become a lost series like Fruits Basket...

Sounds like a series ripe and ready for fanfiction.

Indeed.

But, who knows, maybe the manga will be licensed. O_o
Actually, without a doubt this manga WILL be licensed. Who can over-look this series...

Well, I just watched ep. 23 & the preview at the end says "in the final episode" so i think there are only gonna be 24 eps.!!!
This makes me VERY SAD
If I'm wrong, someone please tell me: you will make my day!

But... But what about Suzu! >_<
He just leaves dragging his master's grave, in the depths of lonliness?!
I don't like that at all!
When will Suzu find out what happened to Tetsu, instead of being shrouded by misunderstandings?
Anime endings always make me sad. u.u

I know! Poor Suzu!! I've got a big feeling that the manga is going to become hugely popular after this - just because there is SO much more material to work with that people will want to know what happens. They have such an awesome set up for an on-going series, and the characters are so...fascinating. And their relationships with each other are so dynamic and conflicted.
After watching the last ep, I went and got all those scanlations from Rem's site. The anime has been licensed, I heard. And surely the manga won't be too far off. Six volumes are out in Japan, right?
I still want to know what Yoshida had against Tetsu's father... Hope they cover that before the series ends.
This show got amazingly good. The first ten eps lagged for me, but after that I was utterly engrossed.

Why don't we ask the translaters to look at the site (pweaaase

we wanna know) and see if it says ANYTHING about a follow up to it, we will bow down before them
But i wanna see more fights with the little guy

he owned that guy

But, no one should get their hopes up. When animes say they will end, most of the time, they WILL end it.
No second seasons out of the blue, and other such buisness, They'll just start a new series. ^^;;
For example, Full Moon o Sagashite, Fruits Basket, Ultra Maniac (I know I'm just saying Shoujo titles), and so on.
u.u Mangas and Animes usually go in two seperate paths...
