gomen ne, i know that this is an old thread but i'm late getting into the forum so you'll excuse me

unfortunately for those of us that prefer a tragic ending if any of us have seen a gonzo series... i think they'll be able to pull out a happy if not bittersweet ending even if there's not one to be seen. that's not a bad thing i think but i've come to expect it from them

This is my theory. Saizu is gonna finally kill Tetsu. Thus, we get rid of the annoying spikey haired kid like they never did in DBZ, but the evil pig triumphs. Saizu then proceeds to become the power behind the throne in Japan.

[ot]It's more than rumors, i think. I have a trailer for something called "Hellsing: Psalm of Darkness" on my computer, and there'sa lot of footage in it not in the original thirteen episodes - unless i missed the nazi leader from volumes... what, 4 and 5 of the manga, in some episode...[/ot]
And it's not really hard for this series to have a happy ending. who says it needs to end with the failure of the shinsengumi? It'd make more sense to end with Tetsu getting what he wants, revenge at last. After all, this is supposed to be his story, not the story of the shinsengumi, right?

wow, i can totally understand where you guys are coming from. tetsu just drags on and on about not being able to become a demon except he will do anything to avenge his parents. hes going no where and hes annoying me even more everytime he cries. in the next episode, i hope tetsu cries so much he dehydrates and dies. if theres a happy ending for this anime im going to spit at my monitor till I dehydrate and die.

and yeah... saikano is realy sad

...anywys... my theory is that Tetsu might become a peacemaker... and not a demon (...that's why there is a title... right?)

If he were to become a peacemaker, what would he do? would just be an all-round good guy fighing for justice or what? I want to know what being the "peacemaker" here would mean to Tetsu

HI everyone! I think a happy ending would be if Okita-sama wouldn't die, but that is impossible, isn't it?

I looooveee Tetsu-chan, he's so cute. But I think that to him, to be a Peace Maker is being in the Shinsengumi, they were the protectors of Kyoto. Ah! Does anyone know who is that guy with silver-grey hair? I've only read the two first volumes of the manga and I've seen the first two episodes

. Well, that's all, sorry about my English, it's not my native language

I hear that. But actually, I don't care if Saizou knocks off Tetsu or not. I just want that little sh-- er, kid to go away. Or at least grow up and stop making me want to beat the crap out of him.

You probably mean Suzu. The next episode (#7) features him quite a bit. Or I would assume so by the episodes title.

I like Tetsu too, I can see why he annoys some people though... but I usually like the type of character he is (although, I have rather odd tastes when it comes to characters, I'm probably the only existing human that likes Omochao from Sonic Adventure 2)

If you do some research on the actual historical figures, time period and the shinsengumi in general you can get an idea of what happens to the characters and what actually happend to a lot of them specifically. So unless the Manga pulls a Samurai-Deeper-Kyo 'WTF?!' it's easy enough to figure out what's going to happen, since it's all based on historcal figures and events....

It was kind of funny that at the end of the first ep they did a "the characters in this show are not based on real ppl or incidents. All coincidences are intentional" etc.

Dec 1 2003, 11:35 PM
yeah! that was like, such an oxymoron... cos the ppl of the shinsengumi were based on real characs, ne?

They put that in there to cover their ass so they can do something that makes for a better story, even if it bends a bit of historical fact.

Thanks "the fragile"! I'm happy n_n I get nervous everytime I write in English. Ok, question: Do you think they'll show Okita's death, or all-sick? My poor Souji u_u I hope they don't. I know he died, but they could change it a little...for the Okita fans. Well that's all

Hey the fragile, although I'm still up to the 4th episode on PeaceMaker, I have a long way to go to catch up since they released the 9th episode already to my own surprise. But, I think that silver-grey haired person you are referring to is Suzu, who makes another appearance in the 4th episode. I hope to be able to catch up with the downloading, but until then I have to be patient.
