Favourite moment: well definetlly first InuYasha "transformation", it gave me goosebumps that an enemy so "acting-strong" from one moment to the next freaked out with the fact that all he could read in IY's mind was the will to kill him... (ep. 43)

Funniest moment: heh... hard to chose... (cause im the one to start it)... Kagomes reasoning for yelling: "sit" while IY was fighting that huge IY chibi the 2 mikos called... and of cource IY's reaction... (after been kicked hard in the earth by his "BIG" self....) well the whole episode should be it actually... (ep. 63)

Okay, my funniest part is "My body is yours",
when Inuyasha tries to "rape" Shippou (Myouga)... ep. 65
Inuyasha reminds me of Ranma with that voice,
well.. it is the same voice... but the way he says it...

My favorite part is when Inuyasha meets his mother,
and kagome lays on the ground unable to move.
Cus when she saw that his mother had no face in her reflection,
and then the episode end and I just went "NOOOOOOO!!",
that's when I realized that I really liked the IY series... ep. 5

The Funniest part of the entire series for me is when Louyokan tries to join Sesshoumaru-sama for his battle against the Cat demons and Jaken says that he would be of help. Then Sesshoumaru tells jaken that he is the only friend he needs. Jakens eyes tear up and he runs after Sesshoumaru-sama telling that he will follow him anywhere then stops to think "wait if i go this time i might die". No matter how many times i see that it kills me.

As far as my Favorite part goes, anytime Sesshoumaru starts to transform or gets upset and his eyes turn red is awesome, but i think my favorite part was when IY was transformed slaughtering those villagers and Sesshoumaru showed up and whooped his ass. He also said one of the better quotes in the series in. "A hanyou should know his place and lick the ground".

Oi, Bankotsu-sama, you really have a personal thing against Inuyasha, don't you? o.o;; Well.... I have to say this, I can't help it: Sesshoumaru's gonna have his ass handed to him by his little brother =P Just wait for the third movie, just wait!

Anyway....funniest moment. Lets see here.... I think I'd have to go with Patrioil-chan (~waves~ Hi Patrioil-chan, Ozy-chan! ^_~.) Episode 65 was definitely the funniest - Inuyasha's transformaton from maniacal laughter to a serious air was great - the change in expressions was priceless. And then next in line for funniest moment would be from an earlier episode (I'm not sure which one.... 109, I think) when Kagome starts yelling at Inuyasha all of a sudden and hits him with a string of "Osuwari!" commands mingled with "Baka!!". Over, and over, and over, and over..... so cruel, yet so very funny.

Lets see.... favorite moment? Any time I get a real taste of romance from Inu and Kag! Quite a few of those in the first movie, but my favorite one is where Kagome was comforting Inuyasha after he turned youkai and killed all of those people. Kawaii desu!

Another favorite moment: The time that Kagome went home and cried over Inuyasha (his decision between Kagome and Kikyou). That part was so sad... but it was great because that's when she finally realized that she loved Inuyasha and openly admitted it to herself! I saved a screencap of that moment... subtitles and all. I love it! Now the two of them just need to get together.............

Favorite Moment: This is by no means my only favorite moment in the series (are you crazy? That's like picking a favorite child! ), but the one that comes to mind right now is from episode 107, when Kagome, Miroku, and Sango wake up after Inuyasha and Shippou had thought they were dead. Inuyasha's so stunned and relieved that for an instant his whole tough-guy facade completely fades away. It was such a great moment for his character that it had me grinning from ear to ear watching it.

Funniest Moment: Inuyasha playing with/torturing poor Buyo (Kagome's cat) in episode 75. I crack up every time I see it, and have been known to watch this episode solely for this scene. (Something my own cats do not appreciate.)

Second place in this category would go to any scene involving Jaken in episode 79, when he's trying to steal Tetsusaiga from Inuyasha.

Coolest Moment (is it cheating to add a category?): Inuyasha's second youkai transformation in episode 45, during his fight with Sesshoumaru. As a matter of fact, that just might be the coolest moment in any anime I've ever seen. Unbelievable. :ph34r:

No doubt the instant I post this I'll think of about a dozen more great moments, but such is life...

Favorite Moment. Ep 45. Inuyasha slaughters Gatenmaru and all those thieves.

Funniest Moment Ep 90. The ep when Shippou defends a girl and another 2 tailed cat, Kuroru from that rat demon. At the end of the ep as the crew is walking away from the town. Inuyasha says, "Shippou you were really trying hard back there, are you sure you didn't have any ulterior motives?" Shippou starts crying, "Kagome, Inuyasha is picking on me." and Kagome makes him sit for that!!!!

Hrm...
I've got too many favorite scenes to name, but I particularly love the part (ep. 30? 50? I forget) where Sango tries to take Kohaku's life and Inuyasha stops her. I felt so very bad for her there...I was so glad she didn't. Even though Kohaku is still around to annoy everybody. And of course, there's the infamous episode 35. I wouldn't be such a rabid Inuyasha (or rather, Sesshoumaru ^_~) fangirl if it weren't for Rin. That was the first real indication I had that the story went even deeper than just "Inuyasha isn't really Evil, just jaded" thing. I appreciated that.

As for funny, the Jaken episode episode rules all. I still remember watching it in the netcafe and trying desperately not to get kicked out for laughing too loud. It was the high point in a summer of waiting for episode 80 Poor Jaken--he's such a tool

Yeah ur right that Jaken episode was so funny. But no one mention how funny it was after Inuyasha killed Ryukurusesei with the Bakuruyaaha. Inuyasha starts using the Kaze No Kizu everywhere and scarring the sh!t out of Miroku, Sango and Shippou....so Kagome lays a big "Osuwari" on him.

i thought the episode where shippou gets challenged to fight the last thunder family was pretty funny

I loved all of ep 56 Beauty Across the Mysts because it was a great MiroSan ep. I also loved ep 65 where Myouga's fiance controlled Sango and she almost killed Miroku and then made Inu act all fruity and almost molest Shippo.

i wouldn't say it's funny at all, but it will certainly be a memorable one. ep 48, where IY and Kagome almost break up, and then finally admit to their feelings... or at least parts of their feelings. i just saw that ep, and i was so busy hiding the tears (touching ep) that i wiped them off with a paper towel that had jam on it =o

HHHHAhahhahHAHAhHAhA!!! oogs, that's hilarious.

i was all over that episode, i loved it.

i think for my faves i'd have to agree with those that said when inuyasha gets brainwashed by myouga's woman and molests shippou, i crack up every time.

i also love the end of episode 90 when kagome and inuyasha are spying on souta asking the little girl from his school to be his girlfriend, and there's this wonderfully uncomfortable moment when they're both looking at each other turning bright red. actually that whole episode is adorable.

Man there's so many great moments.

But I do have a few priceless ones. The first would be the one where Kagome uses force and gets on top of InuYasha swearing that he is still hurt and trying to give medical aid to his wounds. Then Kaedi and kids come and Kaedi tries to not let the kids see Inu and Kagome! That was so funny.

Then the ep where Inu sends the whole ep in Kagome's world, oh man that one was the best. Then time Kagome was sick and Inu got all this stuff and make some drink, you really see the SOFT side of Inu in the ep, that is one of ma all time favorite moments.

Of course any ma funniest had to be the time when Jaken is wondering if Sesshoumaru-sama left him alone, and Sesshoumaru-sama comes along and hits Jaken in the head with a rock. My God I laughed and watched the part so many times, rofl myself to tears. The timing was amazing. Poor Jaken he is just a walking highlight reel!

Hmmmnn, SuperRob, refering to your post about IY spending the ep. in Kagomes world... You just reminded me... im sure im not the only person who is interested in what im gonna say (here goes): Ever you ppl wanted a reference about all the episodes IY is spending in Kagome's world?
ever want to look back on all the episodes that have a little bit more emotion than usual?

you can also recomend other types which would be interesting too...

What im gonna try to do is make a little section in my first post on this topic that keeps exactly those lists as you put the numbers (when you see an episode with those elements, explain why as well) TOGETHER (i repeat TOGETHER) with your favourite and funniest moments of IY... i wouldnt want to cause a swarm of posts only including numbers... and also that is why im gonna keep all your inputs together on the first post (not having repeats either)...(for those of you that have already posted your favourite moments, either edit your curent posts or together with something relevant to the topic)

im gonna start now with some that i have memorized...
(go check the first post again... you will understand)

There are too many "awesome" moments that are all blured together in my head. (The introduction to Rin probably caps this. I literally squealed the entire episode. Good thing I was with fangirls ^_^;;) There are also way to many ROTFLMAO moments, but many of them have been mentioned, so I'll mention the two that come to mind because they're recent. Around eps 110 and 111, first Ginkotsu rides by in Suikotsu's background making his own sound effects in his awesome way, and then in the next episode he kind of idles while *singing*! (I swear it's singing. Or trying to be singing.) I must have seen that 10 times in a row before I could stop hitting rewind (and stop laughing.)

(I know you Sesshoumaru fans are going to kill me for this but I don’t mean it in a bad way)

Inuyasha's youkai transformation in episode 45 was by far the best seen in the show, but the best part was it was the 1st time Sesshoumaru got scared!! I mean it is not a sign of weakness, fear means you are strong but it is just cool how he stopped in his tracks and his eyes widened. It was about time he showed some other emotions!

Another Great/Sad seen was episode 107 when InuYasha is in the flames holding a dead Kagome and he said, “This can’t be happening!” The whole episode was cute, like when he went into the woods and just started chopping down trees holding his tears back. And when Sesshoumaru came he acted like life didn’t matter anymore. And when her eyes opened he was in a state of shock for a long time.

The funniest moments have to be 97 (I think it is 97?) Well when Inu is over and causing mayhem on poor Kagome who only wants to study. I was laughing the whole episode. The Miroku and Sango seen was cute and funny too. But when he was popping up behind her chair to see what she was doing 100 times then she finally said ‘Osuwari’ Then he came in naked with Sota and she hacked stuff at them. It was all-good in the end ^^


The end of 109 had me laughing… “Stop it for the love of God!!”

As for funniest, the episode with Myouga-jiji's fiancee always cracks me up (I snorted Pepsi out my nose when brainwashed Inuyasha tried to molest Shippou), and the episode where the two young mikos-in-training created the oversized Inuyasha and Kagome dolls is hilarious ("Kagome, take care of that Kagome!" "I told you not to call it that!!" hehe!)!

I have so many favorite scenes...but the two I love the most are: the scene where young Inuyasha asks his mom, "What's a hanyou?" (I know all too well what teasing felt like at that age), and she comforts him, and the episode with Gatenmaru's brother (forget his name at the moment)...the scene where Kagome runs into ningen Inuyasha, and he looks down at her (ooh, those eyes!) and says for the second time, "You smell nice," and the scene where Inuyasha is yelling at Kagome (where he pretty much says that he wants to be with her after the quest, and he begs her to "osuwari" him) while she's trapped in the cocoon...those scenes make me melt.

funniest: when inuyasha had to fight the shikigami version of himself made by the 2 mikos and kagome yelled osuwari cuz she thought the big one would go down to

I guess my most memorable moment is in the episode where Kagome catches a bad cold and InuYasha comes to her time and gives her his mother's medicinal recipe to cure it. The way he took care of her was so touching! (That was episode 89 I believe)

As for most hilarious moment, I have to pick the episode with the two mikos who made giant sized replicas of InuYasha and Kagome. I cried my eyes out laughing so hard when the real Kagome and InuYasha would protest when Miroku or Sango would call the giants by their names.

Also in that same episode, when the mikos send out the "paper brigade" to actually collect the items they need to make the giants in the first place....and the part I loved from that was Kirara batting at that one paper doll with her paw! It was the cutest and funniest thing I'd ever seen! I nearly fell out of my chair laughing!

Funniest... forgot the ep number, but when IY gets a boalder stuck to his hand by the monkeys.

My favorite par was when he was sitting on the hillside and the boalder starts to roll. I almost shat myself. Ok, I didn't, but I was crying from laughter at least =P

Mihgt be a tie with the one with the two mikos.

Kagome:"I DONT LOOK LIKE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!"

LOL I watched episode 72 today again.....LOL It was so funny when that little cat youkai Bunza (Shippou's size) was trying to learn the technique to break barriers from Toutosai.....He was trying to chop the wood and almost took off Inuyasha's foot...the next time he lifted the axe it went over a boulder and catapaulted (no pun intended) into the air......ROFL lucky for him Inuyasha is nice.....

When he slipped with that axe I just flew up in the air...
than laughed so hard I couldn't stand.
I was practically screaming "Get out of the way Inuyasha!!"...
for some peculiar reason... hehe
And I love the two Miko episode when fake IY goes:
"Sankon Tetsusou..." that one made me explode into laughter.
He sounds so stupid...

The one where Inuyasha is in Kagome's time and she forgets her lunch and Kagome's mom asks Inuyasha to go to her school and take it to her. He's wearing that blue baseball cap to cover his ears and loses it when he saves that girl from that burning building. When they get back home they're watching the tube and the girl he saved is on the tube with a funny looking picture of InuYasha she drew. I don't remember the ep number, but I think it's in the 80's.

Some of the funniest for me are the little one liners. "Take it off." "Rasin Monk" come to mind.

As for favorite I love when Inuyasha's in the "future" (episodes 89/90 top the charts), and when there's red eyes in play, either Sess's or Inu's.

fave scenes: Really hard to name one in particular, but I'm a sucker for Miroku/Sango scenes, so I guess I like the end of episode 78 (where Sango holds umbrella for Miroku)...

funniest scenes: Again, hard to name one in particular. Again, I find it especially amusing when Sango gets pissed at Miroku. And also when Miroku harrasses Sango or other women (yes, I'm into crass humor). Inuyasha-in-the-future scenes are great. Inuyasha beating up small kids is also funny, like Shippo or those baby monkey or that baby dragon (yes, I'm crass).

also, one hilarious scene was when Shippo interrupted a Jakotsu/Inuyasha battle by burying Jakotsu in those squealing mushrooms. It just struck me as hilarious that a fearsome and terrifying bandit could be stopped by a bunch of crying fungi.

Umm er... I forgot which episode but I liked it when Miroku and Sango was sharing the umbrella(at the end of the episode) and he grabs her rear and she smacks him with the umbrella or hand(I cannot remember). Miroku sure does know how to end the "mood". Edit: They were getting along quite nicely thats at the end. Thats why I said Miroku sure does know how to end the "mood".

one funny moment i particularly like is in ep.113. when miroku and sango are about to enter the barrier and he touches her rear. then she knocks him with her boomerang. the expression on his face cracks me up. you should check it.

another funny scene is where miroku and shippou are downsized and come into a room with inuyasha to find kagome in a bath. then they reveal themselves and she screams, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!". that's hilarious considering the situation they're in. it was in 57 0r 58.

favorite moment would be... hmmm... like someone said earlier, it is like picking a favorite child. i'll go with the sesshoumaru/rin scenes. makes you wonder about sesshoumaru. hes supposed to be this stuck up human-hating demon, but who knows?.... mysterious.

Wasn't it touching when Jaken got stung by one of Naraku's Hell Bees...and Rin went and tried her hardest to get the herb to save Jaken....Rin is such a sweety!

Oh, in episode when Kirara goes somewhere and Shippo starts tell his stories:
- I saw you Inuyasha..
- I saw you Miroku...
- I saw you Kagome..

One classic Miroku/Sango moment: The beginning of ep31, the one where Kagome first meets Jinenji. Sango and Kiara are recovering from battle injuries, and Miroku says something to the effect of "Don't worry, I'll stay here and watch over you to make sure you're safe..." Then Sango kinda hides behind her blankets and says that his presence actually makes her feel more "unsafe", lol. Poor pervert.

Also, in the 1st movie, near the end. Kagome jumps off Kirara or something from high in the air, and Inuyasha catches her. A nice gesture, right? So Miroku calls for Sango to jump also, so he can catch her, but instead, Sango throws a piece of her armor off his head. Haha. He would have probably tried to molest her after catching her, anyways. Miroku is the bomb.

The best parts of the 1st movie are when Kagome gets pissed at Inuyasha. The first time when he devoured the food that Kagome slaved in the kitched over, (he didnt even taste it) and then asked Kagome where the instant food was at. LOL she got pissed and layed down the OSUWARIs....

And at the end of the movie Kagome and Inuyasha (who's playing with her cat) are sitting at the time tree in her era......they reminise a little bit, then Kagome asks Inuyasha if he wants her to make him lunch. Of course he says yeah...."Make some more of that yellow stuff." "Oh you mean the fried eggs?" (Kagome eyes light up) "No, those were too hard..." "Oh you mean the instant food...." (Kagome stands up and flame is all around her...yes she is pissed...) OOOOOOSSSSUUUUWWWWAAAAARRRRRIIIIII


I fall out every time I see that....

Ok, bear with me here, I don't remember the episode number, but I found this so funny. I believe is was somewhere in the 40's when we were really learning about Tetsuaiga and Totousai shows up. First off, I find his flying cow with multiple eyes hysterical. Not many old men spit fire and ride a flying cow that strikes down like lightning when it lands. Then, when Inu Yasha was fighting, I believe it was Sessh, and Kagome was with Totousai and says, "where's Myouga?" She looks and then sees him on the other side and and she starts screaming, "It's not safe here!!! Myouga is on the other side!!!!" I just love how much of a coward Myouga is. It's so adorable. I would say my one of my favorite scenes is in the one where Renkotsu has set fire to the building with Kagome, Miroku, Sango, Shippou, and Kirara and at the end, Inu Yasha shows up and Shippou is using his fox fire to protect everyone and Inu Yasha praises him for it and tells him good job. But Shippou is crying and says, "I tried but I failed" or something like that and he is bawling his eyes out. When I watched this, I was too. It's really touching the expression on Inu Yasha's face and just how much Shippou cares for everyone. I knew they were going to live, but it was still touching

One of my favorite moments was in episode 82 when Kagome told Inuyasha not to go outside, and when she turned to leave he made this goofy face and said something like "deeeeeh" I watched that like 40 times!
Another of my favorite moments was in the same episode, when kagome invited IY to eat her lunch together, when she opened it up, she found he already had eaten most of it! actually, that was just a funny episode all round...

Oh my gosh when I saw that I had to pause the movie I was cracking up so much, lol. I love all the Sango and Miroku moments! Like in 113 when she grabbed his ear and he started to do that little dance or whatever, omg I was laughed hard there as well.

Don't know if Anyone said it already(I'm lazy) But the scene where IY is in Kagomes time and he was taking a bath with her brother and he runs into her room naked. That scene reminds me of the george of the jungle movie where George walks out naked and says "First waterfall get cold then Hot then george slip on strange yellow rock." That was great.

Yeah, I love it when Sango abuses that perverted Miroku, it always cracks me up.

She must really really like him if she's willing to put up with all his crap, any other woman would have ditched him by now!

BTW, another nice moment in Inuyasha. I think it's ep 56, where Miroku finally (sorta) shows his feelings for Sango, when he holds her hand on a river bank after they've killed some female dog youkai... but he ruins it when he gropes her ass while she's busy being overwhelmed by his display of affection. That's our Miroku!

Funniest moments:

Shippou's Battle Royale -- the whole episode
Shippou: "That says Sh-sh-Shippou, right?"

The Mikos-in-training and the giant chibi Inu & Kagome
Kagome: "Quit calling that thing me!"


Coolest moments:

1. I can't believe no one mentioned it yet. When Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha team up to kick Naraku's ass and came within an inch of doing it, then Naraku plays the Rin trump card, and the look on Sesshoumaru's face. I became a hard-core addict after that.

2. When Kagome's purifying arrow nearly wipes out Naraku (I forget which episode, but it was prior to the above scene)


Well Written Episode:

The episode where we learn the history of Naraku's former life (Onikumo) from the comrade who betrayed him. It's hard to explain, but it just sets the stage for Naraku so well.


Most touching:

1. When Shippou befriends the little girl who lost her brother in the wars.

2. Episode 12: the one about the ghost of the little girl. Haunting in every meaning of the word.

3. Seeing how Mouten was drawing Shippou with the crayons and the obvious crush she had on him now.


Favorite Ending Animation:

The one with Kagome riding her bicycle with Inuyasha in the basket. With the closing song "Every Heart". To me, nothing captures their relationship more. Their relationship is gentle. It's about feeling relaxed with each other.

Ok, I just saw the funniest thing ever in EP 114! It's kinda a spoiler for people who havent seen it yet, so it's way down below...

Miroku: I WILL TOUCH HER!!!!

Oh, I really remember episode 12 now.
i liked that episode a lot, really.
That little girl was sweet in a scary kind of way.

One of the moments with Miroku and Sango I find funny,
is in ep. 82 when they talk together on the hill.
Miroku puts his hand on her chest and the slap can be heard over the village.
*SLAP!!* "Ah..." *LOL* I thought that was really funny...

Some classic Miroku/Sango moments also include Sango getting really pissed at Inuyasha, because Inuyasha is so dense/insensitive when it comes to women's feelings...

For example, in ep 85 (the one with the demon's head curse, the demon princess, and the old woman who was a fake exterminator), Miroku is about to go see the beautiful princess by himself. For obvious reasons, Sango doesn't want Miroku to go by himself. But good ol Inuyasha doesn't see any reason why Miroku can't go by himself... and then Sango gives Inuyasha this evil stare, which scares poor Inuyasha, lol...

Those evil stares are great. I remember Sango having another great evil stare in ep 41, when Inuyasha comments on Sango being tense while Miroku is hugging this other girl...

I just thought of another funny moment.
When Kagome used her hairspray-attack! ^^
I was thinking about it today,
and it was so funny when the monkey came with the fire!
Kag: "I think we need more fire than that..." (or something)

I would like to see "Favorite Moments of Ranma½"!
That is so impossible to choose... there's so many!

Like when Ranma does the Nekoken for the first time.

i'ld say my favorite moment was all op ep68, that's officially Shippo's episode. Just the thought of and watching Shippo fight Souten was the greatest. Kind of works for the funniest too, but not quite. Second favorite is the first fight between IY and Sesshoumaru-sama, when he transforms and is just wailing on IY.

the funniest for me really only works in the dub. its when Miroku is telling IY to choose either Kagome or Kikyou and IY says can't I have both. then comes the SIT!! command driving IY into the ground. and all Miroku says is "Yes, big sit."

I have one that is also really funny in the dubbed version(more so than the orig. version IMO). It's in ep. 4 at the end. Kagome hits Inuyasha on the back while he's wounded and he falls over and says, "L-Leave me alone!" in some kind of pouty voice.

I'd have to say-- after watching 114, that's the funniest episode. Of course it's serious, but Miroku in that episode is amazingly funny!

I just remembered another funny moment.
The moment I first started to like Inuyasha,
because I didn't like him in the beginning...

Anyways, it's the ep. with the ink demon...
and stuff, you know what I'm talking about.
Inuyasha kills the ink youkai
and gets covered in it's "blood".
IY: "Uh... the smell of ink and blood...ahh..."

Kagome. "Inuyasha, are you okay?"
