Okay, I don't know how many has talked to Expert_Gamer's sister,
but she told me that Sean probably won't be able to send anything more,
as last night, right after I talked to him on msn, he left for the store,
and he was in a bad car accident. And they don't know if he'll live....

I told her that I ought to tell everyone here who's expecting a package,
that everything with an adress and a name on will be sent by her,
for the rest - I don't know. But I just thought everyone should know...
this is also the reason if he didn't broadcast himself last night.
(I was asleep - it was broadcasted at 1 am) so I don't know. well...
dunno what else to say... but I hope he'll pull it through...

All jokes that i usually am making aside. I didnt kno the guy personally, but this sucks ass whether you liked him or not.

A friend of mine was killed in a motorcycle accident about 2 months ago by a drunk driver. I hope it wasnt another moron driving under the influence that caused a tragedy like this.

Well... he had my msn, and she wrote me just now...
(I just woke up by the way, so I was a little startled).

Sean was in a car accident on his way home earlier today and is in the hospital, and probably isn't going to live much longer.


This is what she said about it...
but for you who worry about the packages,
she will probably try to get in touch with you.
(it depends if she can get on his e-mail)

it's so sad...
the last thing he said before he left was:
"I love my life" ...

;_; That's so heartwrenching.

Just giving away love makes you love life itself so much more.

I'm hoping it's not a big lie. Unfortunately, I've known one too many people like this who take advantage of the anonymity of the internet to paint a picture of themselves that isn't true. It all plays out the same; someone has an accident, a few hours afterwards, someone logs on as someone's brother/sister/roommate (I'm serious) and says what happened.

I've been taken advantage of this way. Someone claims to have died as a result of some bogus disease to get sympathy. She was obsessed with getting attention, and tried to get it in the worst way.

If I were his sister and he were in such a bad accident, being on the internet worrying about sending stuff to people online would be my LAST worry right now. Not THIS soon...

All joking aside, I'm very hesitant about this, as well.


If it's true, my deepest sympathies.

If it's not, shame on whoever is trying to take advantage of us.

Well, just now I talked to his sister on MSN, and sadly Patrioil is correct. IF this is real, I hope it passes. You have to have a good feeling that it will.

Well... I think it's an older sister...
and she's trying to get in contact with Sean's customers,
as he sells computors and computer parts...
so she asked me if I was a customer or just a friend.
I think she wants to tell them that it will be for free,
and that they will get what they ordered et cetera...
appearantly there's like 45 people or something...

Hate to hear such bad news in the morning,
and I talked to his sister again... yeah.

She told me that he had been in a BAD crash,
and the other drivers died on the spot,
and Sean went into shock and were taken to the hospital.
Anyways, she thought she couldn't get to him,
but the police went to open the bridges for them now,
so she's there right now. I hope it'll turn out ok.
His sister seemed REALLY sad about this (of course!)

...I feel bad for not giving him my picture,
that's what he wanted...
he said he would be back soon,
but when he never came back online I thought he just forgot.

My heart go's out to him and his family. i barley even new him i only talked to him once or twice about the inu yasha movies and ost tracks and he was so kind not caring that he didnt know me or anything just wanted to make people happy. I think we are all truley blessed to have known him and i pray that he finds his way back to us in full recovery.

... ....I'm at a loss for words. I trust that his sister is telling the truth. If you think about it, MSN automatically logs on when you boot your computer and connect to the internet. So it is feasible that she is able to use his MSN. Even IF, and I don't think it is a lie, I have no problems showing the guy some sympathy and giving him attention. Afterall, he has done loads of stuff for the people here on the forum. So, I express my sympathies and Sean will be in my thoughts...I really hope he pulls through.

I am very saddened by this tragedy....regardless that I never knew the guy. I will certainly keep him in my prayers as it is a tragedy for anybody. He really sounds like a generous and kind person that I imagine I'd like to meet. And to provide fans with the third iy movie....which is my fav anime of all time....is very selfless and should be applauded. Hey, Spirited Away showed in America....who knows...I'm still crossing my fingers..

this is really sad. there isnt really a way to be certain of if it is all a huge hoax or if it actually happened. I'm not jumping to any conclusions 'cause it's nearly impossible for me to be able to find out whats really going on, but I hope that will do fine and pull out of it if it is a genuine story.

Even though I don't know Sean much, but according to the posts in this thread, he does sound like an even more kind-hearted person than what I have expected. Poor guy... I'll pray for him every night before I go to bed until I hear the results.

And Kuro-chan, I know exactly how you feel -.- I was taken advantage like that on the Internet once, and it happened when I was 14 years old. When I thought that one of my friends died in a car accident, I thought that he was dead myself. But then I didn't realize that this whole thing was a huge scam until he showed his face. I mean... I can't believe this.

By the way, people... if you highly believe that Sean is as much of a dear friend to you and everyone else in this board as you said he is, then you should be sure to yourselves that the bad day happened for real, not for the sake of you showing how sympathetic you are to him. Yeah, same thing happened to me once (not as bad).
I called my friend, and her brother told me this:
"well, I think she broke her leg and she's in the hospital"
and I was like wtf!? and called my other friend,
who said "but she's here O_o" and that was so lame...
he is her brother, why would he say something like that?

But, I don't think all this is a scam I believe.
because his sister kept in touch with me this morning,
and she even got calls about how Sean was doing.
I don't think SHE would make it up, and not Sean either.
I was the last one to talk to him last night,
and all he said was things about stuff he was gonna send,
the broadcast (and that I would be asleep at the time),
and that he had to go to the store... I feel for him.

and appearantly it was his spinal cord that was injured,
but I'm not sure - cus I dunno if his sis was sure either...

I feel the same way. From just being around the forums the short abount of time that I have been, Sean was very helpful. He seems like a great person to me and I hope he pulls out of this, so he can get back to his normal life and self. Are there any specifics about what happened?

Man i just heard the bad news. My prays will be with him. I just hope that he pulls through. Man how could this happen to such a nice guy. i didnt really kno him but from wat i did i knew he is one of a kind. he even sent me things like the IY movie and also gave me help with programs. i just hope everyone sends their prayers to him and hopefully he will pull through.

To those of you that think this is a scam: Keep it to yourselves. A.) Nobody cares what you think and B.) Nobody wants to listen to you whine about it either. If you don't believe it happened, find something better to do than rip on the guy. Seriously, how would you feel if you were in a horrible debilitating accident and after finally recovering come back to one of your message boards and find a debate between people you thought were your friends over whether you're faking it or not and how they’ve lost all faith in you without even waiting to see if it’s true or not. nobody cares what we think? you must, you posted saying for us to shut our damn mouths until we know. I dont think any of us will really ever "know", i mean we dont live near this guy and you cant verify too much over the net, except for the good and bad people, which some people have their own little moments of being a jerk. The best we can hope for is that its a joke or that he gets better and comes back and tells us he is better.

it could go either way if this is a scam or not, its just happened so many other times where people found out about the scamming

The only 2 things i can see a possibility for are,
1. Sean was really in a car accident
2. Sean is on vacation/something and his sister or someone has taken advantage of his computer.

i mean its not like his supposed "sister" posted it in these forums, she just had a chat with patrioil, which i dont think any intent was to put it on these forums, so if this is a scam, i dont think its targeted at the people on these forums.

my cousin to was in a car accident with her child. they said she had a 1% of living. but she made it. i never gave up hope. and neither should any of Sean's friends. theres always hope. just pray for the best.

Man that really sucks. I haven't been on the forum very long so I didn't get to know him personally. But he seems like a really cool guy. He was going to send me some OSTs too but I hadn't decided which ones I wanted yet.

I wish I had the money to send out cds to people for free. It's true that giving is better than receiving. My main hobby is aquariums and aquascaping and I love to give baby fish and extra aquatic plants to people I know online. But I have to get them to pay me back for the shipping since I only have a part time minimun wage job.

I really hope he gets better. I'm sure he has lots of friends and family at home and online that would miss him dearly.

This sucks royally. Sean is an awesome guy, and his posts are always so excited and enthusiastic. He was really into that whole Movie 3 plan, so much that it was almost impossible not to get excited right along with him. To have a stupid car accident bring all of that to an end so suddenly just seems so... wrong.

I'm praying for the best. I really hope he pulls through.
