no matter how cute she is, she is sortta cruel.


i just finished ep 7 (yes, as in 007) and near the ending, Kagome gets mad at IY and pushes him to the middle of a bridge and makes him sit. there's also all the commentary... (after some talk about Oda Nabunaga in ep 008) "he's not ODA (something), but he is still an idiot".


i certainly hope there's a lot more of this hilarious comedic relief

Heh... it is funny when Kagome sits Inuyasha or yells at somebody or does something else you wouldn't expect, but she can definitely get out of hand sometimes. Sometimes she'll use the 'sit' on poor Inuyasha for no good reason, too. My sister and I refer to it as "sit abuse."

What do you think would happen if InuYasha was to get rid of that anoying rossary?
1. in the first few episodes
2. during the midd-point of the series
3. .....Uhm... on the next episode

thinking about that, one realizes what an important role that rossary plays in IY... without it, Kagome would be dead and InuYasha a taiyoukai...

Instead we get all this... which is good stuff...

ans yes, sit abuse is funny like after they meet shippon and he spawns that word stone statue that "nails" IY to the ground, and she yells sit like 8 times that sprains IY's back.


btw, though not blatantly obvious, it seems like IY has feelings for her since ep 1... ok, maybe ep 6 or 7 he was just yelling "don't go" when he thought that she had died and her "ghost" was saying a final farewell.

In the first episodes, definetlly she saw him like a dog
But because of that ("sit") she is gonna treat him like a dog for ever...

as for Kaede-baba, i guess we owe her the series
(well every little detail that initiated the first 3-4 episodes)

I believe she is IVUL because of her dress... Why doesn´t she change her uniform sometime.. I know an ep far far away, she was dressed up as a miko. But she is from the "future" and is used to modern age hygien. And she doesn´t wash her clothes..

Ivul smell from her or what should one say.. IY should react to that.. Or maybe thats the special smell he loves..

But sure she returns to the "future" now and then, to take a shower and get her uniform cleaned..

*sigh* enough said already from me..

I'm sure she does wash her clothes/herself. We see them washing in springs in several episodes, but I guess the show would be incredibly boring/slightly perverse if it showed every time the characters washed/ate/slept/went toilet/had a rest etc...

that was all a ploy... but hey.. There is probably someone who wants to see it..

Or was my input only something to find more bad seeds on Kagome..

Could not find more to say about her cruelness.. so the laundry and washing was closest to hand..

I don't think Inu Yasha was ever really serious about killing Kagome. Okay, in episode two, he is for a moment, but soon after that, they're eating together (that's just prior to her 'accidental sit'), they're sitting right next to each other. One swipe with his claws would have finished it, before she could have drawed breath... and it would have stoped the series instantly. So it could also just have been a shortcut by Rumiko Takahashi, just not to have Inu Yasha realize it.

Hmm, let's see, my favourite Sit-abuses:
The accidental one, ep 2 or 3
The one on the bridge, great one.
The one where he's holding the boulder, when he struggles to keep it up, and get's crushed anyway.
Not a real abuse, but the one in ep 34, when she walks very sweetly towards him to calm him
The recent one, in 109 I think after his meeting with K... Oops, no I won't say, that could spoil it Oogs, if he's still at ep 10
And then there's the fake sit, in the ep where Kirara is missing. At the end he chases Shippo as usual and Kagome goes "Inu Yasha.......... In moderation okay" That one was GREAT

I think the rosary shoulda been gone along time ago, granted it was needed to keep the series going in the first few episodes but IY would never hurt Kagome now. Sesshoumaru-sama should have ripped it off his neck or something. Im so tired of her making him oswari when hes about to rip Kouga in half *sighs*

Kagome can be mean at time but we all know she loves inuyasha XD though i want to see more action between them (like more of those episodes where inuyasha comes to kagomes world u know like a lay back, fun episode)

All I can say is she ABUSES poor Inuyasha when he messes up. Like after any interaction with Kikuyu! My Goodness, did anyone count the amount of times he was abused in ep 110 after carrying Kikuyu out of range from the mountain!

Man even I was like. man she's so dead. Inuyasha takes more abuse from Kagome sit command than anything else in the series. It's a good thing he can heal so well, or the series would be over after that boulder sit command!

If this is any indication of what type of lady she is then Inuyasha should forget about being with her and roll with somebody else, and not Kikuyu either she's just as abusive. ( she tried to kill out white haired demon fella!).

oooh how I want him too do that, Kouga may be somewhat nice but the only reason he doesn't do as all other youkai and kill humans is kagome and I don't like the guy anyways.

I don't think he ever would have killed her. I think at best he would have ruffed her up a bit to get the jewel. Even at his "worst" I dont think he would kill someone defenceless.

Also, the "In moderation" 'sit' has to be by far the best setup delievery of the whole INUYASHA!....<command> system. I love his facial reactions when he hears Kagome say Inuyasha in just the right tone.

Hell, how about the sit abuse in the first movie..

Poor InuYahsa.. all he wants is the good tasting instant rice, not Kagome's cooking, that may have been the smart idea, but Kagome flips out, and does lord knows how many sits, just cause he wanted to eat what he thought was a good meal.. poor mutt

from her own cooking...
what i want to add is that she shouldnt get irritated bacause a DOG
doesnt like her food...
i mean, if he even prefered pet food... what then?
