I really surprised that this guy HAS a lady that he's supposed to be with and is RUNNING away from her anyway he can, come on people this guy is breaking her heart and everyone only remembers Kagome being hurt. Kagome needs to be slapped UP big time. I mean he's just like Inuyasha only he's chasing after IY love interest and running away from his!

If I were IY I would barring Kagome's yelling SIT in Japanese and Stupid, tear that wolf a new one!

I think Kouga is a cutie!!! And We need him in the Kagome and Inu love because it gives InuYasha a taste of his own medicine he keeps `dissing out when he and Kikyo get together. lol

That's not the point, the point is he keeps running from his girl where is she at? I quite sure she's hurting knowing this guy is running wild trying to avoid her. Come on, I don't think IY needs a lesson from Kouga in that area. Kouga's guilty himself. He needs to find his girl what's with this guy.

I;ve been wondering just how she was going to learn to sense shikon fragments- must be very intensive training. Probably not a lot of energy left for moaning over Kouga.

poor Ayame.... Kouga remembers the moon rainbow thing and maybe even cares about Ayame, but he doesnt want to get involved for the same reason Inuyasha doesnt want to get involved with Kagome: At any time, any battle or anywhere Naraku decides to create havoc, he could die. Where would that leave the girl? He just doesnt want to hurt her, making me think he does care for her at least a little. He seems to want to get with Kagome epretty fast though, so maybe he cares more for Ayame than Kag...

Was it just me, or does Ayame feel a little too...convenient? If she weren't so damn cute I'd really despise her, to be honest--it feels like such a cheap answer to the Kouga/Kagome situation. Even if they don't explicitly tie that up at the end, we'll still know she's out there...so if Kagome doesn't end up with Kouga, the Kouga fans can still be glad he has "a back-up". Blargh.

If anything, I think she's too cute/smart/cool to be used as a "back-up". She should hook up with someone who has a little more common sense at least...maybe Ginta or Hakkaku. They're goofy, but they can at least read the writing on the wall.

Well for me it seemed very odd that Kouga being the leader and all did NOT have a lady companion. Add to the fact that their are lots of wolf tribe ladies that would love to be his lady. It seems Kouga is not interested in his own kind! Which would explain why he really wants nothing to do with Ayame, maybe its because he looks at her as a little sister. We could understand that point of view.

However when Kouga see's Kagome he like explodes with affection and WANTS her like now. She is totally different than the ladies he's around. I can see his attraction as I have the have same issue ma self.

But what I don't get is why he like tries to act like he does not remember Ayame. That just irks me, he should tell the young lady and stop having her dream about him. She almost gets killed trying to chase after him.
That's ma thing with Kouga, before you go chasing after somebody else's love interest make sure your barn is clear up! The one I learned from this series is One-sided Love, seems to be alot of it running around

As for Ayame being an easy out for Kouga, ya, I kind of thought that too at first. But maybe it's a set up for an untimely character death? I doubt it, but who knows.

In case you guys havent figured it out Kouga is gay thats why he runs from ayame. He just says he loves Kagome as a cover up cause he knows she would never go for a guy that is as much of a loser as he is. He most likely has a secret crush on IY or Sesshoumaru or something.

Not only do Ryouga and Kouga look like each other....

Well Ayame isn't in the manga (as of episode 110 anyhow) so she's just like a filler episode really. Meaning she won't have an effect on the overall story. And also, since many of the anime episodes closely mirror their manga counterparts, will be interesting how they even fit her into future episodes.

Her character is interesting but honestly not sure why she was introduced. Unless she shows up later on in the manga.

WOW, wow! Kouga is gay so he runs away from Ayame and throws himself at Kagome! That makes no sense for what I see in the eps concerning that point. I think we'll just have to see what they do with their little relationship between the two. I don't think he is gay from what I seen in the shows. Not enough evidence to support that, not with him all over Kagome like white on rice
