I was reading some of the older posts when someone pointed that it's a magical curse, so things as big as building can fit through a hole only 2 cm in diameter. But why would Naraku created such a curse in the first place? Isn't there an easier way to kill someone?

Then it hit me, what if he had an alternative motive? What if he was using Miroku, and his father and grandfather as a way to collect youkai for him to absorb. Does the Kazaana really lead to hell or whatever? Could it lead to somewhere, a place where Naraku can easily collect youkai?

The Kazaana is a hole in which supposedly is a void to nothingness... but its really a portal to narakus castle where naraku sorts through the paralized youkai to form a new body with. Im right, y'know why? CAUSE I SAY SO!

Well, Naraku is a villain, and I'm sure there's some villain rule somewhere that says they must always do everything the hard way. Hence, instead of killing Miroku's grandfather, he leaves him stuck with a black hole in his right hand that can suck in everything in its path. Why he did it, no one will ever know, but you have to figure that if Naraku had an ounce of sense in him in the first place, he'd just blast Inuyasha's head off and be done with it instead of constantly toying with everyone. Naraku is weird...

Anyway... interesting theory, very much so. How ironic would it be if all the youkai Miroku was sucking up were just being reabsorbed by Naraku? And it would be even cooler if Miroku did get sucked up by his hand one day only to wind up not dead, but worse--right in Naraku's clutches. Well... cool for the plot, not so much for Miroku himself...

Unfortunately, though, I doubt such is the case, as Takahashi doesn't seem to have had any particular rules or secrets in mind when she came up with the kazaana. Also, considering that Miroku sucks up a lot more than just youkai into his kazaana, Naraku would have to sort through a lot of random livestock, uprooted trees, rocks, and other things to find the actual youkai, so it might not be as easy as it sounded. Still, I really like the idea.

One of my friends drew a picture on my oekaki board of the inside of Miroku's Kazaana. She'd been watching too much "Jungle wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu". ^_^*

(basically, in that series, there's a girl who just eats everything and everyone on occasion, and has a whole world inside her stomach where they all go. It's extremely messed up).

I'm suddenly getting an image of the Kazaana opning up a weird universe, kinda like.. Jumanji. XD

hmm...i've been thinking about this for a while too. what i dont get is how the poisonous bees could hurt miroku if the kazaana is actually an air void to nothingness

btw, I have a question about the kazaana...
I know I brought it up a long time ago,
but since there're some new ppl here and all

they say it's an "air void" or "black hole",
so the stuff Miroku sucks up must end up somewhere.
and... i dunno, but could it be inside of him?
cus when he sucks up those Saimyoushou,
he gets hurt by their poison, and in ep 94 (?)
when he sucks up the fake Shikon no Tamas'...
it can't just end up in "nothingness" or whatev,
since what he sucks up affects him somewhat...

eh... dunno how well i put it... i'm tired ~_~
but his kazaana doesn't make sense to me...

The key word is magical.

Naraku created it and if he wants, he can have the bearer (Miroku) absorb the poison from those bees (or anything else) just for kicks. Plus if Miroku absorbs all the poison, then he can safely absorb those youkai.

Me? I do have a few of the newer epis on my computer, but for the most part I use the DVDs.

You know, I just suddenly got an image of Miroku having a huge vacuum bag hidden in his robes, and whenever they get full, he just empties them out. Either that, or he puts them all into a huge containment unit a` la Ghostbusters...
