Kouga should die. I think he trys to butt in between inuyasha and kagome everytime they meet.

its tough for me cause i hate kikyou and kouga pretty evenly but the fact the kikyou is just clay and bones is one of the lamest ideas ever so i say she has to go

jaken is not on this list because i think he is the funniest person on the entire show. watching him pout when sess leaves him somewhere with rin or whine over when he slashed him with tenseiga as a test. Also when he tells jaken he is the only friend he needs against the cats his eyes water up that is so funny

yeah i hate jaken too just he life saved by sesshomaru doesnt mean he has to suck up to him every sec/min/hour of the DAY!! he is annoying me so much!

I too think Jaken is a funny character, and he should not be killed. Kikyou, if any, she be rekilled so that she can stop wasting everyone's time. We all know it won't work out between her and Inuyasha. And Kouga shouldn't be killed because he keeps things interesting between Kagome and Inuyasha since both of them are too imature to confess their love for each other.

And i thought Jaken was left off because, if you were me, say, you tried to block him out of your mind completley - I always fast forward though his scenes. Second, though, of course Kikyo should just crumble back into the dust she is.

Kikyou may be the one people want to see dead the most, but she certainly isn't the worst character, she adds a lot to the story and adds an interesting personality to the show(a DEAD one)! Please rename the topic so people don't make the same mistake I did!

I think Sessho and Jaken rival Sango and Miroku as the funniest character "couples".

I also thought it was amusing when Sessho sliced Jaken in half and said something to the affect of :

"Jakken, pull yourself together, and lets go."

I had a "lol" at that line.

It would definately have to be Kikyou for me I mean come on she was such a good person before but she has not quams about taking peoples souls to live when she knows she isn't really alive anyway.

They should get rid of Naraku. Either that, or make him start doing stuff. All he ever seems to do is play with his wooden dolls and spawn off underlings that either get killed or carry on his trend of non-confrontation. If they get rid of him, Kanna would probably fade to obscurity as well. Kagura seems to have a will of her own, so she might stick around.

Kouga is pretty boring as well. All he does is run really fast and try to hit on Kagome. The only thing he has going for him is that he seems to really know how to irritate Inuyasha. As for Shippou, you can't very well have a fantasy adventure in a feudal setting filled with terrifying demons without a cute, comical "good" monster, right?

Hmm... I like Shippo and Kagura way to much to wanna kill them, and I think Kouga is funny.

However, I agree about Kikyou. She is not the same Kikyou as from Inu Yasha's past. She is sooo cold now. But, oh well, it's just my 2 cents.

Well, Naraku is a cool guy… it is just….. for such a big hype for him around the show I think he needs a better attack then the one I saw.

Why would anyone want to get rid of Kikyou? ?_? She does so much for the plot of the series. And it's not like she is still trying to get Inuyasha - it's painfully obvious she's given up on that. Sure, Yasha still has feelings for her, but I think even he realizes they can't be together anymore. Sure, every time Kikyou shows up it causes some angst between Yasha and Kagome at first, but the end result is they wind up closer

I think Kouga needs his feet cut off, and then he can not die but get beaten by some wimpy youkai and get saved by InuYasha - total humiliation :twisted:
After all, Kouga has to rely on his shikon shards, while InuYasha doesn't, so really, Kouga is a weakling with more power than he should have. I'd be happy to see him go

I'm gonna have to vote Kouga. The guy bugs me to no end. I mean, Naraku may be the most hated, but he's supposed to be. That's what will make the final (when I assume he's gonna meet some kind of end), more sweet.

But yeah, Kouga..., what can I say. He acts all tough, but we all know who'd win in a serious fight between him and InuYasha. I'm always wishing InuYasha would wipe the floor with him everytime they meet.

I can't say there is a character I'd want off the show, but for me the weakest is Kouga. One note about him, his character is supposed to be irritating, so we can relate to Inuyasha's desire to bitch slap him...

Awe, why down Kouga he is so cute! I love those little short shorts and his crush on Kagome. ^.^ Also wolves are just cool, lol. And InuYasha needs a taste of his own medicine for what he puts Kagome through with Kikyo, after all.. all, most of his pack got killed poor guy… Sure he is as dumb as a doorknob but I love his eyes! They are so cool O.o But I still can’t wait for the day when InuYasha kicks his butt and shows him he is the top dog. :mrgreen:

I voted for Kikyo. I don't particulary hate her, but I do hate her role in the series. I mean, in ep 31 or something she tried to kill Kagome, and I thought 'Okay, so she's mean now', but Inu Yasha STILL loves her. I mean, I didn't expect him to be able to kill her just like that, but still loving her is too much. Kagome shouldn't accept Inu's 'special bond' with Kikyo like that. Kikyo didn't die for him, Naraku killed her, that's all.

Kagome really thinks (and i guess that is no longer for her the right thing to think (i mean now longer she should have a slightlly bigger influence and more of a privilege to tell something to him about, ...you know, ...Kikyou))

ok...first of all..I can't hate kikyou! I did in the beginning..I had un-repressable urges to flip her off, but kikyou has backed off inuyasha and knows that she doesn't belong with him. She knows that she has done some serious wrongs to Kagome and she feels bad. In episode 98 she was really nice!! It made me happy!!^^..Itz Inuyasha who I'm pissed at! He's the only one who doesn't see that Kagome is the one for him! Kikyo is a frigging clay pot!! They can't have babies!!!!!!!argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Inuyasha should be smacked and should wake up..but I still love him..don't get me wrong! I loves me some inuyasha, but he makes me mad at how dense he is!

kikyou and kouga are definately filler for Inu Yasha they could be killed and no one would even notice.

I want Inuyasha and Kouga to finish what they began; that battle they had with each other. They didn't get to finish it so I say Inuyasha should just give him a Kaze no Kizu and then jack his shikon shards. That way, he can stay the hell out of Inuyasha and Kagome's lives because he so damn annoying!!! I wonder why Kagome hasn't told him off... I guess she likes how Kouga flirts with her so much? I HATE it when Kouga accuses Inuyasha of endangering Kagome. He acts like he can do any better....he'd be helpless without those 2 shards in his legs. He's still weak as hell with them...all he has is speed. He needs to die by Inuyasha's sword.

Kagome is just being nice to Kogua. If she did yell at him to back off, Kogua wouldn't be ever to show his face to anyone. This is my opinion.

I don't really want any of these characters dead. I like Kikyou (and I'm glad to see I'm not the only one). Kouga can be really irritating at times, but he's grown on me since he first showed up. (If Kagome would just let him and Inuyasha argue for once without sitting poor Yasha and making him look like an idiot, I wouldn't mind Kouga's appearances at all.) And I hate Naraku's guts, but without him and all of his evil little schemes, we wouldn't have much of a series at all.

And I can't imagine why Kagura is even on this poll. Kagura is one of the coolest characters in the whole show! I'm glad at least that no one's voted for her yet (and hopefully no one will, but we'll see).

In conclusion, I can't say I'd shed any tears for the ever-cheerful, ever-annoying Houjou (who sadly isn't a option), but other than that, long live the characters of Inuyasha!

I can't understand why people hate Kikyou so much. Having a character for that role is nessesary for the show working. If there was no other love interest for Inuyasha, he and Kagome would aready be together and the show would die out, just like every show in which the sexual tension between the main characters is a big part of the show.

Honestly people, even tho I voted for Kikyou I dont hate her but I do wish her a peacefull death. No character in the show is without a purpose. And the reason for Kikyou and Kouga is FOIL! Kikyou is Kagome foil as Kouga is Inuyasha's they are characters to make you like the other better. When Kikyou is compared to Kagome doesnt Kagome look better? And when you take Inuyasha strength compared to Kouga's doesnt Inuyasha look so much stronger? As for Naraku he is stronger then he lets on. Everyone just needs to take time and understand the chars more they all have an important role right down to Buyo!~If you cant think of how Buyo is important, then ur an idiot~

Well, I suppose the story wouldn't be as good if we could just kill off the characters we hated. =P

Inuyasha works so well because it has managed to successfully juggle a large cast of well-designed characters. This has enabled the writers over time to develop each of the show’s many characters to a degree not often seen in television. The viewers of the show have also become familiar with the nuances of all of the shows characters, and this allows them to take the character’s actions in a larger context without a great deal of explanation. The characters all compliment each other nicely and fulfill vital role to the show. From the standpoint of narration and story-telling, even somewhat unpopular characters like Kikyou serve an important purpose and as such they should be kept on.

That said I voted for Kagura—she isn’t a main character on the show, and she hasn’t really done much of anything for several dozen episodes. She doesn’t really have a purpose for existing within the context of the show anymore. Kohaku has taken over her role as Naraku’s “agent on the ground”, so to speak, and it has been established that she is now far too weak to challenge any of Naraku’s major enemies. Maybe once the Shichinintai are gone she will make a comeback, and the show will better utilize her angle as a potential traitor in Naraku’s camp. I think that subplot has a lot of potential.

Now that I think about it Kanna has never served any purpose at all, and the fact that her character virtually never speaks makes her essentially dead weight. They could take her out and no one would even notice. In fact, I had actually thought they had abandoned the character until she appeared last episode.
